Affordable foot and body massage spot in Little Saigon. For $40, you can get an hour body massage or a 90 minute foot massage. The service was great, they picked up the phone immediately and accepted our gift certificates even though they were expired, and were able to book us same day for a massage. I got a great, relaxing body massage in a relatively quiet space. It included hot stones and lotion. There are walls that separate rooms so there is enough privacy. I want to come back every 3 months!

Burned Skin of Both Knees

BURNED SKIN of BOTH KNEES !!! I decided to share my recent awful experience with this place. One of my older brother's friends mentioned/suggested about this place, especially Lilly's name. My bro and I went there and paid $40 per person at the front desk for full body massage. Before starting, I especially showed the areas I have issues/pain (shoulder, upper back, lower back and knee) so Lilly can work on them. She started on shoulder and then she went out of the room and came back with a heating pad+hot towel. She placed my knees on top of that heat pad/towel, when I was laying on my face down. She kept going on the massage on my shoulder, upper back and lower back. I started to feel very warm on my knees and asked her to remove it. She ignored it. It was about total 30 minutes past from the beginning and I asked her again to remove it. She did it right before she told me to turn over and lay on my back. But I felt really hot on my knees. I could not see anything without my eyeglasses, so I lay on my back. I think right after she realized that my both knees' skin BURNED that I am not aware; she went out again and came back with a menthol cream to apply on my knees. She kept applying the cream about 15 minutes to my both knees. I think she tried to COVER UP her mistake with by applying too much of menthol cream on burned skin of my both knees. After a while I did not feel my knees because too much of menthol cream made my knees and around area fresh/cool and numb. The massage session was finished and I put my clothes on without putting my eyeglasses on which I always put that at last. Then I tipped her $25 without knowing that she BURNED my both knees' skin since I cannot feel my knees' burned skin due to extreme usage of menthol cream. You can see the attached picture of burned skin of my both knees. I then got out and waited for my bro to get out from his massage session. We came back home about 3 hours after that and I took a shower. Then I realized BURNED skin of my both knees. I had my bro took pics of them and called his friend who suggested this place. His friend talked like he did not care at all about my burned skin caused by this place and masseur name Lilly he suggested; which pissed me and my bro a lot. Then my bro called this place and talked with the guy who sits in front who I believe the owner. The owner tried to belittle this physical damage (burned skin issue) his place and personnel caused. After my bro sent the pic to his cellphone and the owner talked with Lilly, he apologized and Lilly offered a free service to compensate. Nothing can compensate the burned skin of my knees and the pain I feel. I cannot bend and walk through with my knees due to burned skin. I am using Aloe Vera cream every half an hour to heal my knees' skin. I thought that whoever considering to go that place should know about my experience and decide accordingly. I do not say Go or Do Not Go to this place. You be aware and You decide at your own risk.

We have been going to this place for 3 years now. It is a great massage for the price. The masseuse are kind and courteous. I can refer Cindy, David, Peter and Lily. Call ahead cause they get booked.

I especially want to give a shoutout to Paula because she is truly amazing at what she does. She knows exactly how to work out all the knots in my neck and shoulders without causing any pain or bruising, which is so hard to find. You can tell she really understands the body and pays attention to what you need. This has honestly become my favorite once a month treat. I always leave feeling stretched out, reset, and completely relaxed. Highly recommend if you're looking for a place that actually knows what they're doing and makes you feel taken care of.

As soon as I walked through the door, I already felt calmer and more relaxed. My masseuse did a wonderful job with my deep tissue massage. I was a bit nervous at first as this was my first time experiencing a Thai massage, but she continuously checked-in with me throughout the process and adjusted according whenever the pressure was too strong. The deep stretches at the end after the pressure work felt amazing. To my surprise, the hour went by quick! I would highly suggest this place if you are looking for a more active and intensive massage. This experience really helped my muscles and joints feel less stiff and tight.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience today (3/26) with the front receptionist (an older…read morewhite woman). From the moment I walked in, she was rude and demanding. She claimed she had no record of my payment going through and immediately became confrontational. Instead of giving me a moment to check my charges, she snapped at me, saying, "Excuse me, did you hear me?" in a very aggressive tone. I couldn't help but feel like I was being treated this way because I was the only brown person in the waiting lounge-it really came across as a racial bias. After about two minutes of me finding it, she suddenly said, "OK, never mind, I found it." No apology, no acknowledgment of how unprofessional she had just been. It honestly felt like she was trying to hustle me or make a scene, likely because I was paying with a Groupon. The massage itself may have been fine, but the way I was treated at the front desk completely ruined the experience. I will not be returning.

I hope this is useful for anyone considering a visit to Health Atlast…read more I checked in today and was greeted by Shirley at the front desk, who was the only person demonstrating professionalism. She explained that I needed to complete paperwork because it had been some time since my last visit. I reviewed the forms and asked, calmly and reasonably, whether we could proceed without duplicating information already on file. She apologized, explained it was their policy, and offered to let me speak with a manager. Then Susan came out. From the moment she approached, she seemed startled to even be asked a question. Without any context or explanation, she immediately stated, in a blunt and dismissive tone, that the paperwork was "the law." When I asked where this law was written so I could review it -- a standard, reasonable request -- she reacted as though the very idea of a patient wanting clarity was somehow inappropriate. For the record, I had no issue completing the paperwork, and I did so. The issue was the manner in which a simple inquiry was met with unnecessary defensiveness, lack of transparency, and a level of hostility that was entirely unprovoked. Going forward, clearer communication and a basic level of respect toward patients asking straightforward questions would go a long way. At the very least, it would prevent encounters like this -- where the paperwork wasn't the problem, but the treatment was. This is also not the first interaction I've had with Susan that felt unnecessarily abrasive. I can't recall the exact date, but the tone and dismissiveness were nearly identical. I don't appreciate being spoken to that way, and I would strongly encourage the clinic to address it. Patients deserve clarity and respect -- not reflexive hostility when asking reasonable questions.
