Bali Foot Spa - Massage Near Me - Westminster, California

The massage itself was actually good. The therapist did a solid job and the 90-minute session was relaxing and helped with my muscle tension. However, the experience at the end made me uncomfortable. There seemed to be a very strong expectation for a large tip (around 50% or more). I left a $15 tip based on what I felt was appropriate for the total price of the service. After that, the staff became upset and started speaking about me in their language. I couldn't understand everything, but it was clear from the tone and the words used that they were not happy and I heard something along the lines of "cheap." Tipping should always be appreciated but not demanded or enforced. Unfortunately that interaction at the end took away from what was otherwise a good massage. I was uncomfortable so I left them $24 tip $15 tip on a $40 service is 37.5%. That's actually a very generous tip. In most places: * 15-20% = standard tip * 25%+ = very good tip * 37.5% = extremely generous read more

Ugh... what happened to this place since the owner changed ? Is becoming a place for one of those distinguished gentleman places. Before I always come here every so often, they would always have a lot of older male masseur, now they can't even have one on site. So on Friday night, around 6:45 pm, I walked in like I always do and asked if they have any male masseurs and the 3 ladies there said yes and asked me to pay now....aaah.. no, I'm not paying until I see the man. So I waited for 20 minutes, I should of just left because those 3 ladies were calling any guy to come massage me. When I was about to leave, the guy in his 60's walked in and they lady said "ok ?", ok fine, he's good looking, that's the only reason I stayed. Paid $45 for an hour body massage and he took me to the room. Once he started pushing, I knew it was going to be a joke because it was so soft that i said harder and he did for 2 seconds. The whole time was massaging over the sheets, barely 5 minutes of oil massage. Dang, his massage sucks so bad, I could of paid the homeless guy outside to do a better job. So when it was over, I asked his name and he said Sung Ning ? Or Sunny ? I just tip him $20 to get out of there. While I was walking for the MT, I was sitting at the front and the boss lady was dressed so provocative for her age, she's probably in her 60's and dressed like a teenager with a tub top, short skirt all the way up her butt cheeks. I saw 2 guys coming in asked for " boss lady " and she took his hand and pulled him inside. I'm sorry, but any professional MT, don't hold your clients hand, giggling and pull you into the room like you two are dating. Is unprofessional and disgusting. The price may be inexpensive but it turned into one of those happy masks for the men. I don't recommend this place to anyone looking for a real massage. read more

Bali Foot Spa - Is only good for the men with money to spend. You don't need to go to the Bunny Ranch in LV, you got them here. Good luck. - Massage Near Me - Westminster, California

It's Dirty, not worth your time for this terrible massage, and they demand more tips when you leave. I left 10.00 on a 40.00 massage which is 22%. I'm embarrassed for your business and can't imagine how you continue with any clients. read more

I was just barely there today. The massage was alright, but the girl at the front desk needs to be more cordial with their clients. Remember that customers are the ones who give you work to be there, so be friendly to them at least I would say. I would give 3 stars for the massage and 0 starts for the other girl who was sitting behind the desk. Be better. read more

This is a great place and great prices. It can't get any better than this $25 for a full 1 hour body massage

Amazing massage with clean facilities. Place is a hidden gem. I will be coming back every month!

When my foot massage was about to behin a big and loud verbal argument began at the front desk. Not sure if it was with a customer or within their own coworkers but the girl massaging me was so distracted. She kept calling others over and disgusing whatever was going on. In the end she spent most of her time on one leg and completely ignored the other. When I asked if she was going to switch legs she basically said later, later...but later never came. I won't go back! read more

They have amazing massages here ! $25 for 1 hour in public area or if you want private room it is $40 for full body! I highly recommend getting your own room if you silence. I came here with my boyfriend and there was a double private room for us. It was great! read more

Came here the other night around 5pm. My fiancé and I needed a massage so we were recommended to come here by my nail lady. I got a male masseuse and my fiancé got a female masseuse. I was pretty happy with my masseuse, my only complaint is he started late (so it wasn't a full hour) and he kept answering phone calls. My fiancé complained the female masseuse was too soft, as if she was rubbing lotion instead of getting knots out. This place was good and affordable. I definitely recommend you hydrate plenty after or you will be hurting the next day. read more

Newly renovated and also new management. Kenny, the Manager speaks very good English. Very clean, reasonable rates, all massage therapists are skillful with many years of experiences. Opened room $25 and private room $45 an hour. Nana and Lisa worked on my body, from head to toes. if you are satisfied, please be generous with the masseurs, as they do not have any salary or hourly wages. Tip is the only income for them. They labored the whole hours put all their energy on your body, and the minimum wages in California is $20.29 I always give 100% tip, $25 to $50 for one hour massage. read more

First, they told me the person I was meeting was already started and they did not have an open time for me. I asked them if they had told her this and their response was "she did not ask". Then my friend walks in, as she was her car. We returned at a time they did have two appointments later that day, and my friend wanted the hour long full body massage, but did not want any time on their feet. Their response was that it would be $20 more (is this crazy or what). I conversely wanted the hour long full body massage, with no time on my back, the price was unchanged). We walked out and will never return, this must be under new management.... It was never like this in the past. read more

Today, I visited Bali foot spa for the first and last time. I thought a $5 tip on a $30 massage (over 15%) should be acceptable. As I was leaving out the door, I get 5 different employees harassing me about giving a bigger tip. The man who massaged me began insisting a $10 tip in a manner I felt was not only greedy but aggressive. I was not willing to accommodate this request as my masseuse conversed and even argued with other employees during my massage - not very relaxing. Instead of accosting your patrons about tipping more maybe ask, "Ma'am, what can we do to make your next experience more enjoyable?" and EARN a bigger tip the next time. Instead you choose to lose customers over an extra $5? This is not an environment I would subject myself to again. read more

Been going here for years and have gone through so many new managers masseuse etc but the people they have now- are only doing half the job then DEMANDS the amount of tip. I paid for a 80min full body prepaid ($37) and at the end I wanted them to break my $20 so I can give a $10tip- masseuse REFUSED to give me back a $10 and said she gave extra time and said it should be $15 tip!! She made a fuss called her mgr and was given me the change but cont to say $15 is better cuz she said she gave u time and pressure me. the old lady masseuse stood there waiting for me and cont to complain. I was so irritated and I did give it just because I'm not going to be petty for $5 bucks- but very poor customer service. she literally was "rubbing" more than massaging but bcz she was making such a fuss. Don't get me wrong - I would've been happy to give the $15 if it was worth it. I'm a good tipper when deserved but to DEMAND the tip is ridiculous! Stay away or def have the cash u want to tip ready! read more

This place is great, the best massage I've had in a long time. Quite and clean. Went tonight for the first time, should have tried it a long time ago. Thank you Bali foot massage. read more

Excellent service and prices. I had the 90 minute and added cupping. They used just the right amount of pressure.

Amazing massage and peaceful experience. Enjoyed the hot stones and came out feeling relaxed and refreshed not beat up.

When I saw my friend's (Van D.) 5-star review, I knew that this would be a great place... Jennifer, Belle, Alana, and I had some time before dinner. Belle suggested that we go for a massage. Jennifer knew that $20 an hour is a reasonable price, so we searched our Yelp app and found Bali Foot Spa. Jennifer called for a reservation for the four of us and we got in right away on a Saturday afternoon. The parking was free and plentiful. The interior seemed clean and the service was efficient. I was worried about the language difference, but I soon caught on that my masseuse was calling me, "lady", and not by my name! Haha! After paying cash up front at the desk, we were led into a dark room with many low "cots" and "footstools". This type of furniture allows for more options. We started off sitting on the wide footstools which were pushed together to make the "cot" into a longer "bed". We all asked for "no feet" so we could skip the foot soak and concentrate on our shoulders, necks, and backs. We placed our clothes and purses into a plastic box and were given wraparound towels for our torsos. After the neck and shoulder massages, we laid down on the bed and later flipped over for more back treatment with oil and hot towel. We all kept our underwear on - everything was professionally done. I woke up the next morning with some tightness. I think it's from the stretching that we went through. It wasn't as contorting as the massages I had in Thailand, but it was a bit of upper body twisting and leg stretching. Overall, for the price and shared experience with friends, it was a fun adventure! I'd go again! read more

Very expensive for a mid level foot massage. Prices are raised to $48hr. At that price you can get a much nicer place but for comparisons you can go to Bamboo Wood for $35 an hour. read more

Bali Foot Spa doesn't have the best ratings on Yelp but I was referred by a trustworthy friend who was raving about their hot stone service so I decided to give them a chance. They are located on the corner of McFadden and Beach near Pho Vie and a Vietnamese Supermarket. Prices: - 1 hour full body: $20 - 1 hour full body with hot stones: $25 - 90 min full body: $30 - 1 hour back only: $30 - 30 min feet 40 min back with hot stones: $30 - 1 hr private room $30 - 90 min private room $45 - cupping $10 Great prices right?? I got the 1 hour full body massage with hot stones and it was pretty amazing. I am not comparing it to a fancy swedish or deep tissue massage, but for a "foot massage" business this is probably one of my better experiences. You start sitting on the chair with your feet soaking in the warm water while they work out the knots in your neck, shoulders and upper back. Afterwards you lay face up while they work on your scalp, face, neck and shoulders. Then they move to your arms and then your feet. Afterwards they flip over face down where they use a pleasantly scented massage oil and massage your back. This is where the amazing hot stones come in. My massage therapist was very knowledgeable and instinctively knew where my knots and aches were. I definitely feel like I got my money's worth from this place. They are a bit out of my way but I am sure I will be back for the really reasonably priced hot stone experience. read more

Favorite spa ever! I go & get the 80 min full body deep tissue massage. Very nice people and professional.

Best massage that I ever had with great price! Went there for first time because my friend give me their massage gift card for my birthday. High recommend to give it a try. read more

This was the worst experience I've ever had in a foot spa. Staff are unfriendly, non English speaking, and talk loudly amongst themselves during the massage in the community room. My "masseuse " left for 10 minutes, returned for 2 minutes, then was loudly called by someone and left again. I got up to leave and couldn't find my belongings, and no one understood what I was asking for. I walked out. No one apologized nor offered a refund. Would not recommend to anyone. One star is overrated. read more

First of all, what the fuck? I have been coming to this location for years! Every time I come I swear the service gets worse and worse. They raised their prices which is fine if they do a good job, but I literally tipped this lady 50% and she had the AUDACITY to stand there and ask me to give her more. I was so confused I asked her what she wanted, and she pulled out some cash from her pocket, tapped on it, and then put her hand back out at me. Girl, I am about to snatch my tip back if you don't quit actin like an ungrateful bitch. It's time to find a new spot lol read more

Although the massage itself was awesome, this was the 2nd time I came. After the massage, I paid a 20% tip. The male desk manager & my masseuse kept asking me for more money. I stated 20% is normal, and they continued to argue with me. Not cool. I most likely will not return to this place. No complaints against the service, just their TIP POLICY. read more

This use to be such a nice place about 3 years ago. It was our favorite place to visit in Westminster. The last few times have been pretty horrible and the last one was the icing on the cake. Mind you, my last massage was done by the owner so I was quite upset. I got the 90 minute massage and gave him a $10 dollar tip, he harassed me about my massage being too long and wanted more money so I gave him another $5, and he walked away saying something in chinese/Vietnamese (not sure what they are) but his expressions showed his greed. Never again. read more

I have been to a number of these type of massage places. Nice to get a room with a door. Here, room is heated if cold, A/C if too warm. The lights are dimmed so you can relax. I go early in the morning weekday if possible so it is very quiet too. I have seen them change the sheet after the massage. Some of these other Asian massage places in Westminster do not change the sheets after each patron which is yucky. May I suggest not be cheap on the tip? Consider if you give 15% to 25% tip to a server at a restaurant who you may see for 5 to 10 minutes service while you are there, why would you not give much more tip for someone who is there with you working for an hour massage? Service has been great here. The massage is $45, then I tip $30+. The total is still very inexpensive than the non-Asian massage places I have been to where they charge over $130 plus 20% tip at a hotel resort or cruise ship. Repeat customers know to tip well whether at a restaurant or massage place. read more

The lady who was with me did not know how to massage at all, all she did was rub the oil and caress me, I have been coming here for 2 years and it was always great, but this time it was really awful. In the middle of the massage, he was checking the phone and was sitting next to me, just moving his hand on my body and constantly burping. If possible, I would not give a star at all. Best value, hands down, for a 1-hour massage you will find anywhere! Love this place.

My husband and I came in for massages on 3-11-23. The massages were excellent! However, when we tried to pay for the massages with the two gift certificates we obtained pre-Covid (gift certificates had no expiration date), we were informed the business had been bought by a new owner during Covid and the new owner would not honor the gift certificates. After researching the issue, I spoke to the manager and explained the law that requires the new owner to honor the gift certificates. He continued to refuse to accept the gift certificates. I asked to speak to the new owner in an attempt to resolve the issue but was told by the manager that he did not know the new owners name and did not know how to contact her. I am continuing to request that the gift certificates be honored, as is required by law. read more

Love this place! $25 for the service and a $10 tip... You can't beat that! I highly recommend!

I went in today for the second time, my first experience was great, both times I've gotten the full body massage, the first visit was amazing, I gave the man a $15 tip. Today it was horrible, my massage felt like a rub down, as if I paid for someone to put oil on me....than he left to the restroom for about 10 mins, left me uncovered, than when he finished he gave me my bucket and left, didn't close the curtain, I had no privacy As I left I gave him a $10 tip ($40 massage) and he insisted that I give him more, I said no, I wasn't happy with my service and he laughed, he repeatedly said he wanted more money.... I will never go back....I wish I would have read the reviews before... read more

I was referred to Bali Foot Spa back in 2019 and was a loyal customer, encouraging others to go and that they were kind and did a great job.. However the last few times I have gone I have noticed a decline in the quality of massage and attitudes of the masseuse. I am sure the last time I went will be the last time I choose this location. I brought my significant other with me for his first time after telling him how great this place was and we both got a 90 min full body, my masseuse was absolutely terrible. I even asked him to be gentler, mind you I prefer firm and this was not firm, I legit thought he was going to cause damage or hurt me. Not only that, but he spoke to the other masseuse and then proceeded to just do whatever he wanted and had a nasty attitude and was just not enjoyable. I did not want to ttip, but I know how tough the times are and I get it, I am human. I always tip, generously, always and I provided a $15 tip to EACH masseuse on a $40 massage and they stood there and looked at me like I had three heads. Then asked me for MORE. I was shocked and not only that but the entire waiting area was full of their other staff and they started yelling and saying to give them more. I will never return, I was absolutely disgusted by that type of treatment and I am telling as many people as I know who I have referred over the years because it was not right.. Especially after seeing the other reviews experiencing a similar experience..it seems something has changed because I had never received that kind of treatment over the years until recently. I see the owner responding to similar reviews saying they have "no asking for tips" policy, I call your bluff because not only have I read it multiple times but experienced it myself. Treat your staff better and pay them fair wages, so they dont turn off loyal customers.. no one would berate and risk clients returning if they werent being taken care of behind the scenes. If you are an employee of this establishment I suggest take yourself somewhere where they treat you with respect and pay you fair, you deserve it and I can almost guarantee their staff wouldnt treat clients this way if they were being taken care of. I know this because I watched a decline over the years. read more

I don't always like these types of spas, but I've been here about 5 times and have never been disappointed. I've always had a male masseuse.

I like this place. They recently added rooms with doors and charge an extra $5. It is ok to add $5 for doors but the problem is the walls in this rooms do not go up to the ceiling. You can hear everyone and not much privacy. So doors or curtains are the same, because the walls are too low. Next time I will just pay $40 for curtain rooms. I wish the all rooms with doors would have walls high to ceiling for privacy. read more
