10/10 recommendation I have been to other head spas and I did not like the experience as much. This place is great. I booked the highest one and it was really incredible. I had Hana and I would really like to go back to her again. She did really great massages which is what I felt the other head spas were missing. The place felt clean and also really relaxing and had good spa music

First time at a head spa-- I got the Hi-Lite Classic package and added the scalp exfoliation. I have a sensitive scalp so I will say the exfoliation burned a little, but it still left me feeling super cleansed. The head massage, the facial, the water pressure were so relaxing and amazing. The music in the background was also soft and set the tone, everything felt clean for the most part, and my girl Ivy was so sweet and gentle the whole way. Also, they blow dry your hair for you at the end so that was a plus for me (my hair is naturally straight) but not sure if they will style your hair if you need a real blow out, straightened, or curled, so I say come prepared! I had my services done by Hani as a walk in and she did a great job! The prices at this spa are quite reasonable and Hani made sure to check in with me to see how I was doing. There are divided curtains for your privacy, and they'll guide you on how much you need to undress to get into their massage cover towel. They also accept zelle and mobile pay here. If you're looking to do packages they also have discounted prices for those as well. read more

The whole service was amazing. Vivian was great!! She was the one who did my hair for me today. The salon is talked away in the business area, near harvest, Fresh, market and crunch fitness. The salons. Ambience is very warm, relaxing and comfortable. This is my very first time here and they were very very accommodating. I only had 45 minutes available, so even though we don't normally offer a session of 45 minutes, they made an exception for me, which I found very accommodating and gracious. I have been dying to try a hair spa and let me tell you it lives up to the hype. It is so relaxing. My hair feels refreshed and super clean and soft! She also blow dried it for me, which was a great after routine. They normally include a facial in their service, but I opted it out because of this. I was given more time with a neck and additional head massage. They have a diverse menu of various prices. Their basic package is $80 for one hour! Come and give them a try, you won't regret it! read more

At first I was skeptical about checking out this head spa. Where I live I've been to some pretty good ones. I decided to just do the 80.00 60 minute classic head spa. But I added a treatment to help my dry hair from all the coloring. So yr was 20 dollah mo.(I played Bloody Mary in South Pacific so I did her accent) I wish I didn't do my full makeup yet because they give you a full on facial, first your face is totally massaged,relaxed, and while your mask is on she works on your scalp, massage your full head, then she massages your neck, arms, and after shampooing, and conditioning, she has you sit up so after she towel dries, she massage your full back. Omg I could barely get up but I needed to attend my convention. So then I got dressed, and sat at a station to have my hair blow dried. I wished I had the time for the 90 minute one because they would also massage your legs and feet. This I would have to say beats the head spas I've had where I live. I believe my practitioner ms name is Tammy. I fell bad I don't quite remember. She has the short hair and she mighty strong. If I'm ever in the area I'll for sure visit again. With my friends also. read more

I have been here twice - such a good experience. Staff is attentive and make sure your are overall comfortable. Pricing is very fair and service is outstanding overall. Place is clean. I was a bit skeptical of doing head spas as it sounded absurd to me to pay someone to wash my hair, but coming firsthand, the experience was amazing. I had the pleasure of being helped by Nancy, it was a $105 treatment that included a neck/shoulder massage, a mini facial and washing/blow drying your hair. Not only was she so gentle, she provided stellar guest satisfaction from start to finish. Her voice is so soothing and I'd 100% come back to try another spa package but only with Nancy! My daughter and I made a last minute appointment at Hi-Lite Head spa as we wanted to relax after a few days at Disneyland and we were not disappointed! I saw this head spa on tiktok when they first opened and never made it here until now. Ivy and Hannah both were amazing. The massages (especially the face massage was really great). We did the Royal treatment and I love how they gave us options for higher end hair treatments and skin serums such as olaplex and Moroccan Oil. Five stars for Hi Lite Head spa! I went on a girls' trip to this place because I've seen it all over social media. We booked at 11AM for the classic 60 min session, but the receptionist persuaded us to upgrade to the special 70 min instead. We were able to come a little bit earlier, & we were brought in right away. The beds are right next to each other, but if privacy is a concern, there are curtains and they will give you hot towel for your eyes! The session was definitely well-needed, & I'm so glad I got the 70 min session instead because I was savoring every moment hehe. The lady had very firm hands, which allowed her to go through the crevices of my head as well as provide me a really nice massage on my neck, shoulders, & upper back. There is relaxing music, but on occasion there would be a notification app beep from the aux. It didn't bother me too much, but I did notice it. Afterwards, they blow dried my hair and provide hydration for it! Overall, a really nice self-care day & I definitely recommend for those who need one! read more

We booked the 90 minute deep tissue couples massage for $260 and paid online. My massage went fairly well (4/5 stars). The masseuse used a lot of pressure at stressful points in my muscles. A couple of instances were a little painful, but expected. I appreciate they use the full 90 minutes. After the massage, my partner exited towards the reception desk. I immediately tipped my masseuse with cash. My partner doesn't carry cash, so I needed to get change at the reception. As I'm following my partner to the front, my masseuse tells the receptionist something that makes her immediately ask me if the tip I gave was for 2 massages. I said "no I need to get change for the other tip." This was an awkward exchange. It didn't feel right how they inquired for tip, and that took my thoughts away from enjoying the experience. Aside from the tipping issue, it was a good massage.

Rinsing and washing off before and after is mandatory, which honestly just keeps the place clean and enjoyable for everyone. They're open daily Monday through Sunday, opening at 12pm and usually closing at 2am...sometimes later depending on the day and request. Walk-ins are welcome. Cash is preferred, but they do accept credit cards as well. The rooms are very intimate and relaxing. Some rooms include a sauna, and all rooms have a shower. The lighting is moody and adjustable from bright to dim. Radios with Bluetooth are available, blow dryers are provided, and they supply full body towels and washcloths. You're also allowed to drink and smoke inside the rooms. Cups and ashtrays are provided, and if you bring a drink that comes in a glass bottle, they give you a plastic container to pour it into since glassware isn't allowed in the rooms for safety reasons. It's a solid, well-maintained spot that's clearly been doing things right for a long time. I highly recommend Neptune's Lagoon and will forever book a visit here whenever I'm in the area.

I came here due to their high ratings on yelp. Thought i would give it a try, why not. When I came in here, it was pretty busy. An employee quickly approached me and asked how they can help. I proceeded to tell them about my severely damaged hair from my experience at another salon a few months back. I wanted to do blonde ish to light brown ombre on top of my black hair. They asked me to wait around 20 minutes. I was seated after 25-30 minutes I believe. One of the employees, I think her name is Diane or Diana, came up to me and asked me what I wanted to do with my hair and what color I wanted. After telling her what I wanted, she gave me advice on what color would best suit my face and my clothing style, etc. I really like their service here because the employees talk to you while they do your hair. I know some places just keep silent or they talk to the other employees. But during my visit, they made a lot of conversation with me, which made the time fly by really fast. They finish my hair in around 1 hour ... almost 2 hours? They also styled my hair after they cut it too! They also used various hair products on my hair, that made it feel really soft and shiny. The hi lights came out very even and just the way i liked it, looking natural. After finishing my hairs, one of the employees came and gave me advice on how to take care of my hair to have to remain soft and not dry. She also recommended me some products to! I love their customer service, everyone is so nice and friendly. They truly try to understand your needs and wants here even though English isnt their first language. I paid around $65 or so for my hilights, cut, and style. Which is really cheap since my hair is pretty long and thick. Other places charge me like $100 and up! I LOVE THIS PLACE and highly recommend it to everyone! read more

I learned about hi lite through tiktok, I made an appointment 1 week in advance, the male receptionist was very enthusiastic in advising me on the price of the service, and choosing a suitable time for me, and I almost forgot my appointment. luckily Shane sent me a reminder message to remind me of my appointment 1 day before. When I arrived at Hi Lite earlier than the appointment time, the receptionist Shane offered me tea and coffee, and arranged for me to come in earlier than the appointment time when there was space available. When I went inside, I was instructed to change my clothes, and start washing my hair. The female employee made me feel very comfortable. I had a very tiring day at work, and I wanted more massages, she said. the shoulder, neck and hand massage was so comfortable, I seemed to fall asleep, I went to 2 other places for Asian massage, but the Hi lite place made me feel the most satisfied. Finally, I thought I could only pay in cash, but the male receptionist introduced me and would accept cash, zelle or credit card. If you pay via credit card, there will be a $2 fee. I'm quite satisfied with that. I will bring my mother here next time and will ask the female employee who worked for me. As a recent fan of scalp massages, I stumbled upon this gem of a salon on Facebook and TikTok and immediately knew I had to try it out. With four different packages to choose from, I opted for package 3, which includes a hair wash, scalp massage, hair conditioner, face cleansing, face massage with jade roller and gua sha stone, collagen/anti-aging face mask, and neck/shoulder/arms massage. My friend decided to go for package 4 and was raving about how worth it it was. Let me tell you, the 60 minutes of pure relaxation for just $70 was a complete steal. I've never felt so at ease in my life. The only drawback was that the face mask was left on for longer than the recommended 20 minutes, but the end result was worth it. My skin felt smooth and light after the services. If you're looking for a simple hair wash, this might not be the place for you as there are so many services offered, but if you're interested in a full experience, this salon is the way to go. After being inspired by someone else's TikTok video, I made the decision to book the package 3 scalp massages with my friends. It turned out to be one of the most incredible salon experiences I've ever had. Julia and the entire staff were exceptionally kind and polite, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The scalp massage itself exceeded all my expectations and left me thoroughly impressed. What truly impressed me was how the salon handled a particular request I made in advance. I called ahead to inform them that one of my friends wears a hijab, and it was important for us to ensure that her hair wouldn't be visible to any men during the treatment. I visited Hi-Lite on my birthday to treat myself to a scalp massage and later discovered they offer a special birthday gift through their rewards program--something I wish I had known beforehand! I opted for the 45-minute treatment, which included scalp, neck, and shoulder massages using tools like vibrating grooves and combs. The neck and shoulder massages were excellent, with firm pressure that effectively relieved tension. However, I was disappointed by the limited focus on the scalp and the addition of facial cleansing, which I would have preferred to replace with more scalp work. The shampooing also didn't feel thorough, leaving my scalp less clean than I expected. If you go, I recommend bringing your own facial products, as they don't provide moisturizer after the treatment. While the masseuse was kind and efficient, the pace was a bit rushed and lacked the relaxing, slow movements I was hoping for. Just dropped by this place upon eating at a nearby restaurant and couldnt agree more with the other positive reviews. Being my first time, I didnt know any of the employees here but within seconds I felt as if I was a regular. Greeted, smiled at, everyone was very accomdating and inviting. A+ for service for the welcome. Then came the hair cut, Im pretty picky when it comes to my hair so I prefer someone who would spend a little extra time perfecting my hair rather than hurrying me out and rushing me away. The lady who cut my hair made sure I was perfectly satisfied, it seemed like she was reading my facial expressions! A+ for the detailing job on the hair Hi-Lite. I went here with family and left disappointed. While we were very much looking forward to the experience, we all left disappointed. The ladies that work here seemed sweet and that's why I gave two stars. We each did the 75 minute for $90 plus tipped $20 to each of the ladies. For the price of the treatment, it's not worth it at all. The treatment itself was not relaxing. It was very cold the entire time and I just wanted it to end. We all did. They used a few different hair and face tools, but the entire experience felt lacking in so many ways. I don't think there is much experience required to work here at all. Sadly, we were not impressed or relaxed by any of it. The fact we were all wanting it to be over says a lot. It should be the opposite, where you don't want it to end. Although the seating room and salon area were in the same space, dividers ensured that each table felt private. With the curtains closed, I removed my top and was wrapped in a towel. During the service, I found the frequent switching between gadgets somewhat rushed, and I didn't experience the tingly sensation I had hoped for. However, the experience was still relaxing, and I particularly enjoyed the head, neck, and shoulder massage. At the end of the service, I was offered additional refreshments while my hair was blow-dried. I came here couples days ago after seeing video on Tiktok. The guy at reception was very nice to me. I chose package number 3 for 60 mins and 70$. Amy was the lady who took care of me. Well, everything seemed nice but I didn't like the way she talked bad abt my hair. She kept saying that my hair's so dry and damaged and then she asked me to buy more treatment like hot oil or upgrade to package number 4 for 90$. Actually, when I came into any spas, I really hate the way ppl talks bad abt you to persuade you for paying more your money on adds-on service. It's kinda rude to me. Moreover, she talked to her colleague by her language (maybe Viet I guess) while she's doing massage that waked me up sometimes. I still rate 3* cuz the price and quality are so worth money. For $100, I expected a relaxing and pampering experience because it was advertised as a 70-minute service. In reality, it was closer to 50 minutes and the whole thing felt incredibly rushed. Instead of taking their time with each step, it felt like they were just speeding through a checklist to get it over with. I come here every 2 months to have my hair touched up by Diana. She is wonderful!! Most of the time, I tell her what color I want and then I just let her choose the specific hair color, and I ALWAYS get many compliments on how beautiful my hair color is. They really spend time working on your hair and make sure that you really like it. I used to go to Bolsa or other Korean places in Garden Grove, but I was never really happy with the results. Once in a while, it was too ugly I wanted to pull my hair off :( Never happened here at Hi-Lite. They also use brand name products, and I always walk out with silky and smooth hair. Hair history: boxed dyed jet black hair, bleached 4x, then became a rainbow fish with all the colors between black, orange, to yellow. I asked her to match my hair color to my hair extensions. When we were done, a beautiful ashy light brown came out. It looked so nice but I was so focused on it not being an exact match to my extensions, I was bummed.
