Atmosphere was wonderful. Service (Anthony M.) was outstanding. Now the food was a different story. Hubby ordered the crab Oscar omelet and said it tasted good. The menu said it was jumbo lump crab meat, however it would be a stretch to even call it lump crab meat, and the amount of crab was very little. He could barely tell there was any crab in it. I ordered the chicken fried steak Benedict. I asked for the English muffin on the side and my eggs fried medium. The English muffin was so soggy I could barely pick it up, The eggs were fried way past hard, I had no runny yoke whatsoever. Then there was the filet mignon. It looked and tasted greasy and the breading was falling of the meat even before I started eating it, and it was the toughest filet I ever had. The potatoes looked great and crispy, but alas the were over cooked and mushy. I did not say aythinbg, because my husband get upset when I do. $42.00 for the meals and an hour+ drive later I was very disappointed. We will give the place one more try. read more

To be honest this place is a little pricey however its so nice to be able to treat yourself especially during times like these When we arrived the ambiance was great and we were greeted by a friendly wait staff.. Due to social distancing we sat on the outside patio area. This area is first-come, first serve but we only waited for about 15 minutes to be seated on a Saturday night. We went last week to celebrate Christmas. They didn't have the bourbon my husband wanted, the manager came out personally and apologized and recommended a substitute. Great spot! After a long day hiking the Delaware Water Gap my wife and I had a delicious dinner here. Our server was Avery and he was on top of things and had some great suggestions. We split the Caesar salad, and had the hummus plate to start our meal. The hummus plate was a suggestion from our server and it was a slam dunk. Had my mothers 50th birthday party here, we were a party of about 17. I have not dined here just as a normal customer, so keep this in mind for my review. The restaurant is beautiful and the atmosphere is very nice, our party was in its own little room. The service was probably the best service I have ever received at any restaurant. The woman in charge of serving our party was a true professional. They were able to bring out every course for our entire party at the exact same time, if you have ever worked in a restaurant kitchen you know the skill and organization involved in serving 17 portions of 5 different possible entrees all at the same time, and having everything be hot and cooked correctly. In addition, I have a severe allergy to dairy and I was completely taken care of, even though I ordered off of the pre-fix menu. The service is why this review is 5 stars. The food was very nearly perfect, the salads were very fresh, and there were some interesting selections available. The only gripes were that the lobster bisque was found to be a bit to salty, and my strip steak was medium instead of medium rare. But other than those two things, I didn't hear any complaints from the rest of our party. Now of course this level of service does come at a price, I suppose you get what you pay for, but you can always come for happy hour. Ok we went here for some good hot steaks. This is what we got : lukewarm at best and it was as if the steak was warmed up and had been prepared before hand. Just terrible for $50.00!! I used to frequent Blue quite often as the ambiance and the Chilean Seabass "was" to die for when it was prepared over thin noodles in a decadent sauce. The recipe change was awful and in additon I dined at the bar this past Saturday.....I ordered the 16oz "Prime" NY strip, it certainly was NOT prime and questionable whether or not it was actually choice. Brutal! I would suggest ordering all Prime steaks from Allen Brothers. The SRF pork chop is solid but if your going to offer prime steaks better off not serving that nonsense you served on Saturday. read more

The reason for my 4 stars is because I had the wedge salad and the salad was not to fresh on this day, there was a couple of pieces of brown lettuce and the salad was drenched in the blue cheese so with the overwhelming amount of blue cheese dressing and the brown lettuce it got soggy quick!!! I have been dining at Blue since they first opened and have always had a good experience, until last night. My friend and I ate at the inside bar, which was empty except for 4 men at the other end of the bar. They were extremely loud, to the point that we heard every word of their conversation. To make matters worse when we addressed this with the bartender she said they get pretty loud in there including her. Never have I been seated at the inside bar and have a bartender talk to a customer who is seated at the far end and yell across the bar. It turned out to be an extremely unpleasant experience certainly not what I expect from a Paxos restaurant. And, not once did I see a manager pass through, which is not typical of a Paxos establishment. The food was excellent but the ambiance left much to be desired. read more

My wife and I had our wedding reception here. It was a small event so we used the smaller private room upstairs from the main restaurant (not the main ballroom, Candlelight aka Blue Event Center). Everyone was so kind and helpful along the way, even when we got there late to setup the night before. They had a TV to play a video off a USB stick that played on loop. They had a sound system built into the ceiling that played our music off an iPhone playlist. They introduced us and opened the doors for the first reveal. They served us (bride and I) special courses in addition to the buffet we had for the guests. All the food was delicious. They made sure to know who was doing toasts and when we'd cut the cake so they'd have the knives ready. We were in the small room for a budget wedding, but they treated us as if we were in the biggest room with the biggest budget. They handled room setup, the waitstaff worked tirelessly throughout the evening with our party 50 guests, my bride and I were checked on multiple times throughout the night. Not too much to interrupt our evening, but enough that let us know they were there if needed. The staff filled up Tupperware of leftovers from the buffet for us to take home. No guests from the restaurant interrupted us. No one on the staff ever said our music was too loud or told us we couldn't do anything (not that we were a wild party...). Bathrooms were easily accessible even for family members with mobility issues. The bar was just outside the main room so it was easy to get to and also didn't take up space in the room for the celebration. Thanks so much Blue for making us feel so welcome. I asked the older waitress to bring butter because I wanted that to put over the steak for flavor. She brought over cold butter in a ramekin. I looked at her and told her I'd she wouldn't mind taking the steak back, cooking the steak in the butter for a few minutes. I live close by and my wife and I went for Sunday brunch yesterday with our neighbors. This was my fourth visit and first for brunch. I had a Farmers omelette and my wife had salmon. Neither of us were impressed with our food. My omelette was bland and overcooked. Potatoes were tasteless. My wife felt the same way about her salmon. Atmosphere is nice.
