The burger is actually just okay but my GOD the ONION RINGS. WOW. The stuff of dreams, 10/10 experience absolutely hit the spot. They don't even need sauce-that's how good they are. read more

We decided to stop in for a last minute lunch after passing by all the time. It's a vintage diner styled corner spot for burgers, chicken sandwiches, hot dog, and milkshakes. We ordered a Double Cheeseburger ($10.50), Fried Chicken Cutlet Sandwich ($9.50), Loaded Fries ($7), and a Fountain Drink ($2.50). The burger is good, but wished the chicken had more flavor. I didn't get too much of the hot honey, thought it had hints of sweetness. The loaded fries have plenty of cheese smothered all over, though I wish the onions were grilled so the taste isn't so strong in your mouth. Overall, everything was just a-okay. It's just a standard spot for a quick and casual meal. It could be more affordable if they're really trying to appeal to the blue collar workers too. read more

Grabbed lunch here after an afternoon of running errands. It's very retro, checkered tiled floors, red seating right on the corner. The service was quick and easy, cashier was friendly. I tried the OK Onion Smash Burger, it was a double patty, with grilled onions, spicy boom boom sauce, American cheese and pickles. I really enjoyed it!! The burger was fresh, the flavor was there. I also had a chocolate milk shake. It was good combo. read more

Great burger spot. I ordered for delivery to my job. Delivery was fast. I ordered the OK Onion Cheeseburger and fries. This burger is packed with flavor. It has two smashed patties, grilled onions, cheese, pickles and their spicy boom boom sauce. This burger is delicious. Love the caramelized thin onions between the patties. The spicy boom boom sauce gives it an extra kick of flavor. All around a solid burger. The fries are descent and the cheese sauce is good. read more

Ahh I really wanted to like this place. I picked up a to-go order getting a classic cheeseburger and the Oklahoma (with grilled onions). It has a very whimsical and charming diner vibes from the 1960s. The service was very friendly and fast and the burgers were packaged well, but the burgers themselves were less stellar than other spots I've tried (think 7th St, Shake Shack). The patty ended up being a bit dry and overdone. I did really enjoy the sweetness and flavor of the Oklahoma burger and the cook of the onions, read more

I could write many things about this location, as well as other but bottom line: Horrendous food, service and no ambiance. Avoid.

Classic solid burger and fries. However the wait is pretty long if you order at the counter because there are tons of DoorDash orders ahead of you. It took probably 25 minutes to get open burger and fries which kinda defeats the fast food vibe. The food itself was pretty tasty, and the people working there were very nice and gave the whole store free milkshakes that they had extras of that day. I would eat this again but order in advance next time. read more

Very friendly, polite and efficient staff. Great food. Good prices. Clean and comfy seating.

So we went there when we were on vacation and I hate to say it was the worst experience of our short trip. We wanted to try based on some decent reviews but they went all out on me after I complained l found a hair in my burger (!) - they didn't want to make another one and then started mocking me for being Jewish ( I had a Star of David on) and my friend who is gay and out. Disgusting!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

NYC needs more solid, no-frills burger joints like Blue Collar. I had their spicy chicken sandwich, and it hit the spot. Just chicken, pickles, and a little sauce, and it was great. The spice level won't make you sweat, but it's there and it gives a nice kick to each bite. The fries were also on the money - crispy, not too salty, and they don't skimp on portions! Not a lot of seating, with only a few tables inside and outside of the small space. But you could always grab your meal to go. If you're in the mood for burgers (or fried chicken sandwiches), Blue Collar is a great option! read more

The atmosphere and location are nice. The food is okay (I've had better and I've had much worse). My main issue is how long it takes to get your food. It doesn't matter how crowded or empty the place is, it takes me 25-35 minutes to get my food. Every single time. If they change that then I'll come here more often. read more

Not for nothing , they have a great burger. But the service is terrible. I ordered a milkshake and a cheeseburger today. There are 2 people working the front and 3 guys cooking in the back. About 3 people inside eating. 7 minutes after I ordered- I was informed there were no milkshakes ..... OH ! I mean shouldn't you have told me that when I ordered ? Considering there is barely anyone there. I was refunded as I continued waiting for my burger. Also no fountain drinks. You have like 10 things on the menu total including drinks, why aren't these working? 10 minutes in I was asked "what I ordered again" ..... finally, received my food and said thank you, etc. but the guy was sitting on his phone and didn't hear me :) Get it together guys. Your food is great but the service isn't what it needs to be to survive in such a service orientated neighborhood. read more

How can you go wrong with burgers. Typical burger joint with easy options to choose. Everything is a la carte so it can get expensive. Shake machine wasn't working when we went in. They had convenient front parking when we went. Ambiance was chill, although it could be a bit more cleaner. Especially being there was nobody in there when we arrived. Food was mediocre. Nothing to die for. Lol. read more

This is a real basic burger joint serving really basic fatty burgers but they are a bit pricey. You might as well get a double as is only a dollar more for some reason. All the burgers come with the same usual toppings including lettuce, tomato, pickle, raw onion, and cheese. They also have shakes, chicken tenders, hot dogs, and breakfast sandwiches of all things. They lack deals of burgers with fries or tots but it is possible to get a mix of both for the same price I believe. Sides are super overpriced in general. The only cheese they offer is American (and they don't have a cheaper option without cheese) and it costs a buck extra for grilled onions. I like having a burger here occasionally but every time it feels like I'm being ripped off even if I'm getting full. Nice for them to have Boylan drinks on tap though. It's weird to describe a burger place that nickels and dimes you but this kind of falls into that description and unfortunately that's pretty apt for this neighborhood. If you want to pay a bit more for a much better burger, go to Henry Public or Moo Burger and in the former that comes with fries so it might as well be even if you're not going to get cheese there also. read more

This is my go to spot for burgers and fries. We order from here to be delivered to my work place. I order the cheese burger with bacon since the chef makes the suggestion to add bacon and it's a great suggestion. The burger is perfectly shaped and sits perfectly on a golden potato bun with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and their special sauce. I have ordered the fries by themselves and always get the side of cheese. I have also gotten the half and half which is have French fries and tatter tots. Get the side of the cheese and special sauce. It's the perfect amount of food and will not leaving you feel guilty about what you just ate. The food always arrives quickly and hot. The peanut butter shake is also pretty solid. read more

Imagine a burger joint that's so incompetent that nobody calls your name to tell you that the food you ordered is ready while you're sitting 5 feet away and you have to eat cold fries and a soggy burger thats been sitting on a shelf for 20 minutes because nobody who works there knows the first thing about the simplest restaurant business there is. That's why you should tip after you get the food, not before. read more

Now, the neighborhood didn't NEED any more burgers, and if you ask my wife, I (read: my gut) don't NEED any more burgers either. But I like burgers. And I really like Blue Collar's burgers. This is a no frills sort of spot, but I'm not really a frilly guy anyway. There's a kitchen, a counter, a few tables, and not much else. The menu is tight. They've got burgers, fried stuff (fries, tots, onion rings), chicken tenders (good for the kids), a hot dog, and shakes. This is the kind of menu you don't need to look at before you order, and I love it. That said, if you do look at the menu, you'll find out that a burger (with cheese, lettuce, pickles, onion, and tomato on a potato roll with house sauce) is $8.50, and a double is only $1.25 more.* I'm not a math major, but that means you're silly if you don't get a double, in my opinion. The burgers are smashed, everything fried is fried well, and my whole family likes it here. Admittedly, I haven't had a hot dog yet, but I'm betting I'll like those too. I've only been in twice thus far, but everyone that's served us has been nice, everything we've eaten has been tasty , and every time I've left I've been satisfied. That's a good record. We'll be back again. ______________ *Please note that you must say $1.25 as if you're Tollbooth Willie. IYKYK. read more

New spot on Court Street so I decided to try. Decor is cute, retro vibe. Cheeseburger is on small side, comes with too much lettuce, tomato, pickles and sauce. Bun is warm, tasty. Who the hell gave this place one star?? It's a strong burger on a soft potato bun or something like it. Great tater tots and that's it! What more could you need? amazing addition to the neighborhood! burgers and fries done right! Always clean, with fast service.

A solid burger joint! Comparable to smashburger with how they quite literally smash down the meat while cooking. The meat was flavorful but did seem a bit too salty and a bit too thin. However the price is right and the quality is really good! Plus there are not many casual/take out burger places around this area so this is a joy indeed! They have a veggie burger, chicken tendies and beef franks on the menu. Something for everyone, best for takeout. The inside was a bit of a mess but they did "serve" us our meal. And the onion rings were delicious ! Sometimes it's nice to have a place where not too much is going on and you get what you expect. read more

Delicious but slightly overpriced Burger joint with a modern take on the 50's look. There's only a few items on the menu, but the burgers and fries are so good they don't need to offer anything else. The staff is really nice and the small space offers some indoor seating with little tables best suited for parties of two. One major negative is that they don't check vaccination status! I've been there twice now and was allowed to eat indoors no questions asked; I watched as others were allowed to do the same. This is a problem especially considering the space is so small! The food is so good though, I'll just order ahead for take out, because eating in is no longer an option for me. Pro tips: -Go for the double burger, the single is way too thin -Get the fries they are AMAZING!! -Don't bother with the bland onion rings read more

We like this place in general but more and more, the "staff" is a bunch of yahoos who give zero Fs across the board. Never ordering here again. Paid 9 bucks for tater tots that were so rock hard they were LITERALLY inedible. Yelp won't let me post a video but I'm posting a screen grab of the one we took of me sqeezing a tot... which EXPLODED into brittle crumb fragments. Hilarious. read more

the food was delicious! the service was amazing from a worker named Jay. He was the best and the ambiance was the best because of his music.

Food was decent, got a double cheese burger with pickles, fries and Nutella shake. ONLY weird thing on the food aspect of it, was that it all came out within 5 minutes. As far as service, it was terrible. The lady at the register messed up my order. There was this other guy that was a a-whole, let me explain why - there was no one else there except 2 of my buddies and myself and we are all 14 and the man behind the counter ask us to move the tables back how they were, because we moved 2 tables together to accommodate for our party of 3. The guy gave me and my 14 year old buddies attitude saying "you kids have no manner, yall can't just come in here and move to mother fucking tables together and expect us to fix it for yall. Yalls parents need to fix yalls asses!" - Scared, me and my buddies quickly fixed the tables and apologized even though we did nothing wrong and it's the guys job to fix the tables especially giving the circumstances that no one was there expect our party of 3. Terrible Service, the guy was gay, around 5"10 to 6" feet tall. Light skin. read more

Love the burgers here! I find the proportions of bread : meat : veggies to be perfect (I don't like overly carb-heavy burgers, and the smashed meat tastes great). I like to add grilled onions, which costs extra. The fries are a good-sized portion, could be shared as a side. But they're really not my style, as they're just crispy and airy and overpriced. Service is not great, the cashier wasn't even sure if onions come with the regular burger and was rather cold. Hopefully she's just a new staff in training. read more
