Lawd the way this place played with the plans for my summer body should be criminal lol I had the OK Onion double smashed burger and I should have gotten 2 and the fries were just as good. If you in the area please treat yourself to something here. You won't be disappointed either plus I'm.not a photographer I'm a EATER LOL

Ahh I really wanted to like this place. I picked up a to-go order getting a classic cheeseburger and the Oklahoma (with grilled onions). It has a very whimsical and charming diner vibes from the 1960s. The service was very friendly and fast and the burgers were packaged well, but the burgers themselves were less stellar than other spots I've tried (think 7th St, Shake Shack). The patty ended up being a bit dry and overdone. I did really enjoy the sweetness and flavor of the Oklahoma burger and the cook of the onions,

Great place for delivery if you're craving a good burger. I searched for a while on Grubhub and came across this place and was pleasantly surprised. I recommend for a good burger.

Classic solid burger and fries. However the wait is pretty long if you order at the counter because there are tons of DoorDash orders ahead of you. It took probably 25 minutes to get open burger and fries which kinda defeats the fast food vibe. The food itself was pretty tasty, and the people working there were very nice and gave the whole store free milkshakes that they had extras of that day. I would eat this again but order in advance next time.

NYC needs more solid, no-frills burger joints like Blue Collar. I had their spicy chicken sandwich, and it hit the spot. Just chicken, pickles, and a little sauce, and it was great. The spice level won't make you sweat, but it's there and it gives a nice kick to each bite. The fries were also on the money - crispy, not too salty, and they don't skimp on portions! Not a lot of seating, with only a few tables inside and outside of the small space. But you could always grab your meal to go. If you're in the mood for burgers (or fried chicken sandwiches), Blue Collar is a great option!

Not for nothing , they have a great burger. But the service is terrible. I ordered a milkshake and a cheeseburger today. There are 2 people working the front and 3 guys cooking in the back. About 3 people inside eating. 7 minutes after I ordered- I was informed there were no milkshakes ..... OH ! I mean shouldn't you have told me that when I ordered ? Considering there is barely anyone there. I was refunded as I continued waiting for my burger. Also no fountain drinks. You have like 10 things on the menu total including drinks, why aren't these working? 10 minutes in I was asked "what I ordered again" ..... finally, received my food and said thank you, etc. but the guy was sitting on his phone and didn't hear me :) Get it together guys. Your food is great but the service isn't what it needs to be to survive in such a service orientated neighborhood.

How can you go wrong with burgers. Typical burger joint with easy options to choose. Everything is a la carte so it can get expensive. Shake machine wasn't working when we went in. They had convenient front parking when we went. Ambiance was chill, although it could be a bit more cleaner. Especially being there was nobody in there when we arrived. Food was mediocre. Nothing to die for. Lol.

This is my go to spot for burgers and fries. We order from here to be delivered to my work place. I order the cheese burger with bacon since the chef makes the suggestion to add bacon and it's a great suggestion. The burger is perfectly shaped and sits perfectly on a golden potato bun with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and their special sauce. I have ordered the fries by themselves and always get the side of cheese. I have also gotten the half and half which is have French fries and tatter tots. Get the side of the cheese and special sauce. It's the perfect amount of food and will not leaving you feel guilty about what you just ate. The food always arrives quickly and hot. The peanut butter shake is also pretty solid.

Now, the neighborhood didn't NEED any more burgers, and if you ask my wife, I (read: my gut) don't NEED any more burgers either. But I like burgers. And I really like Blue Collar's burgers. This is a no frills sort of spot, but I'm not really a frilly guy anyway. There's a kitchen, a counter, a few tables, and not much else. The menu is tight. They've got burgers, fried stuff (fries, tots, onion rings), chicken tenders (good for the kids), a hot dog, and shakes. This is the kind of menu you don't need to look at before you order, and I love it. That said, if you do look at the menu, you'll find out that a burger (with cheese, lettuce, pickles, onion, and tomato on a potato roll with house sauce) is $8.50, and a double is only $1.25 more.* I'm not a math major, but that means you're silly if you don't get a double, in my opinion. The burgers are smashed, everything fried is fried well, and my whole family likes it here. Admittedly, I haven't had a hot dog yet, but I'm betting I'll like those too. I've only been in twice thus far, but everyone that's served us has been nice, everything we've eaten has been tasty , and every time I've left I've been satisfied. That's a good record. We'll be back again. ______________ *Please note that you must say $1.25 as if you're Tollbooth Willie. IYKYK.

Blue Collar is a NYC best kept secret! the food is fresh and tasty. The service is as expected - they give you what you ask for and them some! The milkshakes, tenders, fries and burgers all hit the spot! 10/10 recommend if your looking for any of the following.

The food was fresh, hot and delicious. The service was great, the gentleman at the register took his time w/ any questions since it was my first time here. The space was clean w/ great retro tables and chairs. It's a casual space w/ a great music selection. I will definitely visit again.

It has the kind of cozy neighborhood vibe that makes you want to relax and savor your meal. Our server, Annie S., was fantastic--friendly, attentive, and very easy to talk to. Her service struck the perfect balance and truly enhanced our experience. We shared the Sailor Gin Martini, which was beautifully chilled, bright, aromatic, and finished with a lovely dry note. It was refreshing and absolutely delicious. For our appetizer, we shared the quiche. It was so good that we completely forgot to take a photo before finishing it! For our entrées, I ordered the cod and my husband had the burger without the bun. The cod was honestly one of the best I've ever had--perfectly cooked, incredibly fresh, and full of flavor. The pea purée that accompanied it was equally delicious and complemented the fish beautifully. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his burger, and I couldn't resist helping myself to some of his fries, which were excellent as well. Every part of this meal was enjoyable, from the drink and food to the warm hospitality and comfortable atmosphere. Needless to say, we both left very happy.

We ordered two appetizers with distinctive sauces, and when our plates weren't cleared after the first course, we made what I thought was a very reasonable request for fresh plates. That simple request seemed to send our server over the edge. At a restaurant of this caliber, I would expect fresh plates and silverware to be brought automatically between courses. Instead, the staff insisted that we keep using the same silverware throughout the meal. Later in the evening, I sat with an empty cocktail glass for quite a while. I tried making eye contact with our server, who appeared to avoid our table by turning her back and refusing to look over. I suspect she noticed me in her peripheral vision because she abruptly said, "I'll be with you in just a moment." I wasn't waving her down or trying to interrupt her. I simply wanted a wine list, which could have been dropped off in seconds for me to browse while she continued helping other tables. Instead, after I asked, she prioritized several other tasks before eventually bringing it over. At one point, my friends joked that "the food is great in Brooklyn, but the service is rude." That honestly made me sad to hear because it doesn't reflect the Brooklyn I've known over the past 14 years. I've always found it to be warm and welcoming. I'm not sure what happened to Sailor, but this experience couldn't have been more different from my first visit, as reflected in my previous review. Before dismissing this as someone being overly critical, it's worth noting that I worked in the service industry for 17 years. I know restaurants get busy, and I don't expect perfection. But basic hospitality, attentiveness, and professionalism should still be part of the experience, especially at a restaurant of this quality.

On a Friday evening, my friend and I came in as walk-ins and got a spot at the bar. The space is a bit tight, but it works if you don't make a reservation ahead of time. I was pretty hungry, and everything we ordered was more than enough food. To start, we had the Whipped Ricotta ($14), Muhammara ($14), and Chicken Shawarma Hummus ($18). Absolutely loved every dip, which were all different in its own ways that I can't even choose a favorite. The ricotta was a sweet one that gave a nice contrast from the savory spices of the other two. I liked how much chicken they added for the hummus too, so you're getting almost a whole meal. You'll definitely need extra pita for all this, which does fill you up. We did also get a Radicchio Salad ($19) for some greens plus a Beef Kofta Skewer ($20) for some meat. Both of these dishes were solid, but could pass on them next time. Definitely recommend any of the mezze and hummus here; it's all you need. This is a really great date spot or group dinner. Perfect to have a drink or two while enjoying some pita and dips mostly.

I thought it would be quite heavy but when paired with the pita bread it was just right - light and fluffy with a light drizzle of honey made it a great ricotta - however, ive had better ricotta before at theodora lamb shawarma ($20) - i wasn't expecting it to be a dip but it was delicate and delicious anyways - this is probably my fav dish out of all 3 - the dip was strong and smooth; tasted unique but not anything too impressive either - the lamb was super tender but it was quite strong; i dont think people would've been able to handle it if theyve never had lamb before rating: 4/5 - everything we ordered was good and the quality is definitely there so it's a solid 4 but nothing really stood out - ive had better and more innovative dips elsewhere - the vibe is cute though! It's a perfect brunch spot decorated with plants; feels like a cozy little tree house - quick service; nothing to note IG: @nom.noms.only
