The Classic Strawberry Shake was thicky and creamy and had the right amount of strawberry
    Rasool B.

I had a tough day so was in need of some classic comfort food. Burger, fries and a shake. Glad that Dutch Boy delivered I decided to go with them and ignore the somewhat average rating I saw chalking it up to potentially hypercritical - I had been to Dutch Boy and they had the best Impossible burger I've ever had and an impressively thick and creamy vegan shake. This time I went for the traditional animal based versions. The quality of the meat, prepared "medium" just as I requested was exceptional. A good juicy burger. I had a hard time though handling it because it got messy fast. I'm usually more than able with two hands to manage eating a burger, but this one was tough to keep the various ingredients together. A long toothpick would've been nice. The strawberry shake was the star. They know how to make a milkshake at Dutch Boy. a that's easy to see. The fries were generous in size. Unfortunately, like the burger, the temperature of the food was lukewarm. I'm only about 1.5 miles away from Dutch Boy so I expected the food to be warmer. I had to reheat the fries and the burger. The cooked onions were a bit too sweet and the one ketchup cup wasn't for a burger and two containers of fries. They are also pricey. For the value I had hoped for a better experience. The quality of the food is there, they need to deliver better in the delivery.

When I first moved to Brooklyn and subsequently the Crown Heights neighborhood this place and the agglomération of Franklin Park quickly became a go-to spot for great burgers and good drinks. I typically dine in the actual restaurant late in the evening when I'm done drinking for the night. The burgers are delicious. I'm particularly fond of the turkey burger here. It's one of the best I've tasted. They're also pretty good about letting you customize the toppings the way you like them in spite of what the menu options are. If you'd like to stick to the menu, I highly recommend the Bacon Blue...juicy and delicious. It's straight to the point. The fries are thick and the right amount of crispy as well. An added bonus is that you can go to the Franklin Park side and still get the Dutch Boy menu options. Indulge and enjoy.

I ordered food from here Friday evening after having happy hour drinks with coworkers. It took a while for someone to take my order (I'll attribute the wait to the Friday Happy Hour mayhem). I ordered the BBQ wings. 10 wings for $10, who could go wrong with that?... They were finger licking good, literally lol. As Dutch Boy Burger is connected to Franklin Park, an outdoor seating area, I had my food outside. This area can get pretty lit when the drinks are flowing lol. Overall, they have great food to complement a happy hour drink. However, you can expect high wait times during high traffic times, such as happy hour.

$10 for a "classic" milkshake in a 16oz. bodega ice cup.... no maraschino cherries. y'all whack asf.

I've had the Impossible Burger and $18 for a burger with onions/lettuce/tomatoes and a side of dipping sauce would be fine if the burger was bigger or came with fresh fries-- but this review is for the milkshake: they have the style of a old school diner like we have back home in midwest, what isn't so old school is them charging 10 f*kin dollars for a "classic" chocolate milkshake in a cheap 16oz. plastic clear cup with no Maraschino cherry to top it off. Gentrified places like this annoy tf out of me with dumb stuff like this. I spare no money when it comes to my food, but this was a waste.

Burgers, fries and onion rings. Everything is delicious!

I liked this place. Came here with a friend a couple of months ago at her recommendation and literally stuffed my entire face. When you first enter there is a small eatery and then as you make your way to the back there is a big bar area and tables to sit and enjoy your meal. There is also an outdoor area but it was a bit too chilly to comfortably sit outside. My friend and I got the onion rings, 2 burgers (I had the turkey, my friend had the classic), a couple of beers and basically almost every fries they had. EVERYTHING was delicious. Crispy, juicy and savory. I was in heaven :). One star off because it's a bit confusing when you walk in if you're a first time bcuz you seat yourself and it's not like in other restaurants where you have to wait for a hostess. My friend and I waited a while longer than we needed to for this reason so perhaps they should put a sign or inform people to avoid this in the future.

Love that they have a solid vegan/ vegetarian menu! Their burgers are great, their milkshakes are great. Everything was super delicious. And thank god it's open late night and also accessible from Franklin Park! This place can do no wrong. Their staff is incrrrrrredibly friendly too. lovelovelove

The food was amazing! Buy one brunch entree, includes a mimosa, yes please! It was super busy and they didn't even notice us sit down but we're apologetic about not getting to us sooner. Wanted to eat inside franklin park but this was faster

Love this new restaurant!! Even though they were out of Bleu Cheese and couldn't make their own original burger the night my friend and I went to Dutch Boy Burger, we were still incredibly satisfied with our tasty burgers, salty onion rings, and yummy chocolate milkshakes. Yes, it's crowded, yes it's a little expensive, but it's a great place for a date or for meeting friends on a Thursday/Friday/Saturday night, especially because they serve alcohol and have a huge bar area in the back.

    Best burgers in neighborhood

My son and I wanted burgers and designed to try this place in our neighborhood. It was a gold mine!!! First from the outside they had their special burgers listed and I was drawn in!! The place was nice and comfortable in the front, then you walk toward the back and they had games and a full bar and more seating in the back. The place does not look big from the outside, but inside there is a lot of room. We had take-out but will be going back to dine-in!!! As for the burgers!! the BEST!!! They had the grill taste but juicy inside!!! Will be back this weekend.

Let's start with the good - the service and ambiance were on point. I went on a Sunday evening around 7pm. It was busy inside, but since I was a solo diner I was seated immediately by the bar. The servers were friendly and attentive. Probably 3-4 different people checked in multiple times throughout the meal. Where I struggle is with the actual burger itself. As a non-resident New Yorker, for me $22.50 is a lot to spend on a burger and fries. It needs to rock my world at that price point. And it just didn't. I got the B&B Burger. The onion ring tasted like it had been refried a second time to make my burger. The bread was crumbly like it was on the verge of going stale. The actual beef patty itself was decent - good flavor. Usually I can overlook an okay burger if the fries are top notch, but these fries were under-seasoned and also 'just okay'. I also got a side of Chicken Tenders. These were good - no complaints here. I really wanted to like this spot, but not sure this would be a return visit for me.

This place was perfect and its menu was choke full of bargains and bonuses. This place was cute; I mean the bar was front and center and was very impressive but the table seating was charming too. Their lunch menu has a great "build your on burger" which i had a blast doing: Burger Cheddar Cheese Bacon Grilled onions Lettuce Tomato Mayo / BBQ con The service was exceptional, the ambience was very "Taverny [sic]" and my lunch was delicious!

Greetings all, it's been a while but here I am. Let's talk about Emily a quant pizza restaurant…read morethat you could easily walk pass and not know what they sold. Today however it wasn't pizza that brought me here, it was the famous Emmy Burger. To begin with the atmosphere of the restaurant is dim lighting a few tables with a reasonable sized bar in the middle of the room. They also have an open kitchen concept where just past the bar you can see the cooks working. My server Inda was polite and knowledgeable about the menu. My burger was excellent, normally I don't eat my burger with a knife and folk, but in this case with all the cheese and sauce oozing down the sides, not to mention the caramelized onions, it was necessary. (If I were home I wouldn't mind having burger juices running down my arm, but other people were eating in the restaurant also). The tiny pickles which I can't remember the name of were an added treat to the burger. I decided to order mine with the loaded fries. Just imagine the ground burger with all the toppings covering french fries and add melted white cheese. Since I was alone I didn't order a pizza because how would I eat it all, but next time I will try the pizza. I don't mind paying extra for a burger when it's aged beef and the taste is great. I definitely recommend this location. There is a fast food burger restaurant next door to Emily's but I can't imagine there burgers compare. I will try them another time and let you know. That's all for now, see you on my next review.

They say some things age like fine wine, and I believe this restaurant falls in that category. After 55 years, this family oriented fast food shop known for its famous roast beef sandwich and other popular greasy goodness is still standing. I swung by recently for my usuals and glad to report that everything still tasted the same, just slightly more pricey year after year as expected. My regular order has always been the Roast Beef w/ Cheese, which was maybe $4 when I first tasted it over 25 years ago. It is now $9.45 or $.50 less for no cheese. Regardless, the roast beef (medium) is still tender and juicy, piled on top of a soft and pillowy, freshly made bread that's been dunked in a bath of delicious beef gravy. The ooey gooey cheese makes it complete for me. Everything else is solid. Nothing fantastic or worth driving out of your way for. Don't come here looking for the best version of everything on the menu. However, if in the neighborhood, this place is an inexpensive experience that brings you back in time, when the world was less complicated and a night out with family meant a delicious trip to a local restaurant like Roll-N-Roaster. Enjoy it for what it is and you'll have a good time.
