I love a good fresh delicious burger. You could never go wrong with a 7 Street Burger. They had a new limited time only Jalapeño burger that I just had to try. Service was straight forward straight to the point. It was clean. Few seating areas

This is an updated review: Since the opening of this location, it has remained mostly a consistent space of great food, service, and presence. Despite adding new counter staff, they continue to have security in the evening hours, which feels more secure for those sauntering in after dark. The staff is professional and friendly with the music genres on full rotation. I think they were training new staff today, as the orders took about 10-15 minutes (4 people in-store). The burgers are still good and fresh.

Solid spot for a juicy burger. 7th Street tends to be a bit more flavorful, a bit greasier than other spots. The burgers are good and well priced, and the service is super quick. This location is pretty small and there isn't a ton of seating, so would recommend it as a pick up spot.

Just okay if you want a smash burger. The place is super small the menu consists of burger, double cheeseburger, impossible burger, fries and chocolate chip cookies. Place is small they have high chairs on the side of the walls to sit maybe eight people max. The cashier was super friendly. I ordered a double cheeseburger it had good flavor but it was super greasy. I wouldn't eat it everyday.

After any night of drinking, one of my favorite late night eats is 7th Street Burger. When I got off my subway stop and saw this, I couldn't say no. This location is situated between 5 subway stops at Jay St, so it's convenient for many. I got a simple Cheeseburger ($6.50), which is greasy and cheesy in all the right ways. If I hadn't already just had dinner, I'd highly recommend the loaded fries --so good! You know a spot has perfected what they do when they have such a simple menu.

Don't get the hype. At the end of the day it's just a plain old cheeseburger that was exceptionally greasy. The sauce was good though and made the burger stand out a bit. The presentation of the loaded fries looked like someone vomited on top of them but the taste was ok. Fries were meh but, again, the sauce was good. Service was quick and they dished out orders very quickly despite the large number of diners present during the lunch rush. Was teetering between 2 and 3 stars but decided to round down because we found a very long hair in the loaded fries...

I love this burger. I've loved it since I first tried it on 7th Street, and I'm honestly a little worried now that they've moved in down the street. Whoever is running this biz just gets it. They are doing one thing, and doing it so, so well. It's all so simple. The menu is simple. You just have to answer very easy questions: Do you want a single or a double? Do you want fries with that? That's it. The space is simple. There's a counter where you order, and a small counter where you stand and hoover your burger (and fries if you got them) into your face. There's barely anything else there, and if they turned the music down a bit (I'm old now) it'd be perfect. It's entirely too easy, and entirely too affordable ($6.50 for a single, $9.50 for a double). Unsurprisingly, I'm not the only one who loves it. There's a line at prime lunchtime (haven't been for dinner yet), and after eating it the first time, my wife actually said the words, "It doesn't even need ketchup." We were both astonished, because these are words she's never said about a burger, and words I've never heard her say about a burger. I truly crave it. We crave it. Fuck it, I'm going to get one now.

The burgers were so freaking good I still think about them til this day. The loaded fries were the best part of my order I want to fly back just to have the loaded fries, just drown in them. They were that good.

Pros: - Classic cheeseburger (w/ onions, pickles, cheese, and sauce), delicious fresh fries, and a Mexican coke....totally hits the spot. Their house sauce is fantastic! The burger is a little on the oilier side which I didn't mind at all. Perfect for a late-night snack after drinking or going out with friends. - Friendly service Cons: - Located in the busiest part of downtown Brooklyn, it is easy to get to with the subway but very difficult with a car. Parking is impossible to find. Note: - This is more of a take-out-only spot with 2 small standing tables. Recommend take-out or delivery (if they offer).

This is exactly what I wanted while visiting Brooklynn. The famous NYC Smash Burger. Don't get me wrong, the fries were very good but next time, I'm skipping the fries and going with two cheeseburgers. I'll be back as this is saved as one of my FAVS....

This is my 4th time coming to a different 7th Street Burger location. I have been to the OG one on 7th street in East Village, the LES one, the West 23rd Street one, and now the Brooklyn one. The best way I can describe 7th Street Burger is a simplified version ShakeShack. And it tastes so similar to SS's burgers and at a lower price. I love how simple, and the limited options it offers - either the Impossible (vegetarian) or the Beef burger. Either coke, sprite or water. Either fries or no fries. No BS, you get what you need and you are out of there in 10 mins. This is a non-complicated and straight forward burgers chain. I think these are the exact reasons that 7th Street is so popular and why the business model works so well. Thus, the rapid expansion in the last couple of years. Anyway, how does the food taste? Consistent! It's the same taste in every store and I like that. $8 for a vegan burger vs a ShakeShack $13 I would take this anytime. Overall, the experience of 7th Street Burger is often one that you come and get what you need and get out kind of food chain. In the Brooklyn store, there is a small counter you can eat at. Or you can walk 7 mins over to Albee Square, there is a mall there with a food court downstairs. A staff told me about it and it was a nice place to explore. Definitely a good experience / date night for those who don't mind venturing out of their boroughs to go to Downtown Brooklyn! PS: Thank you Yelp and 7th Street Burger for given me an opportunity to do two of my favorite things - food and explorations. Look forward to doing more!

Let's start with the good - the service and ambiance were on point. I went on a Sunday evening around 7pm. It was busy inside, but since I was a solo diner I was seated immediately by the bar. The servers were friendly and attentive. Probably 3-4 different people checked in multiple times throughout the meal. Where I struggle is with the actual burger itself. As a non-resident New Yorker, for me $22.50 is a lot to spend on a burger and fries. It needs to rock my world at that price point. And it just didn't. I got the B&B Burger. The onion ring tasted like it had been refried a second time to make my burger. The bread was crumbly like it was on the verge of going stale. The actual beef patty itself was decent - good flavor. Usually I can overlook an okay burger if the fries are top notch, but these fries were under-seasoned and also 'just okay'. I also got a side of Chicken Tenders. These were good - no complaints here. I really wanted to like this spot, but not sure this would be a return visit for me.

This place was perfect and its menu was choke full of bargains and bonuses. This place was cute; I mean the bar was front and center and was very impressive but the table seating was charming too. Their lunch menu has a great "build your on burger" which i had a blast doing: Burger Cheddar Cheese Bacon Grilled onions Lettuce Tomato Mayo / BBQ con The service was exceptional, the ambience was very "Taverny [sic]" and my lunch was delicious!

Greetings all, it's been a while but here I am. Let's talk about Emily a quant pizza restaurant…read morethat you could easily walk pass and not know what they sold. Today however it wasn't pizza that brought me here, it was the famous Emmy Burger. To begin with the atmosphere of the restaurant is dim lighting a few tables with a reasonable sized bar in the middle of the room. They also have an open kitchen concept where just past the bar you can see the cooks working. My server Inda was polite and knowledgeable about the menu. My burger was excellent, normally I don't eat my burger with a knife and folk, but in this case with all the cheese and sauce oozing down the sides, not to mention the caramelized onions, it was necessary. (If I were home I wouldn't mind having burger juices running down my arm, but other people were eating in the restaurant also). The tiny pickles which I can't remember the name of were an added treat to the burger. I decided to order mine with the loaded fries. Just imagine the ground burger with all the toppings covering french fries and add melted white cheese. Since I was alone I didn't order a pizza because how would I eat it all, but next time I will try the pizza. I don't mind paying extra for a burger when it's aged beef and the taste is great. I definitely recommend this location. There is a fast food burger restaurant next door to Emily's but I can't imagine there burgers compare. I will try them another time and let you know. That's all for now, see you on my next review.

I do have to say that the tables are way too tight next to each other as people kept squeezing in and out. I know it's a small space, but I didn't know I was dining with strangers. Anyways, we started off with the Hot Nguyen Wings ($18), which has a nice spicy glaze from the Gochujang. It also comes with 6 full wings, so you get a good amount of food here --perfect to share with two or three people. The flavor on these were one of my favorites that I'm still dreaming about these. Then we also got The Breeze Pizza ($26) and Emmy Burger ($31). The pizza dough was really good on this with a chewy texture and loaded with toppings. They have so many variations of pizza here that I'd love to try some of the more unique options next time. As for the burger that everyone comes here for, it's good. I can't say it's the best, but it's a solid and very messy burger with lots of carmelized onions. It's also quite a pricey burger, although it does come with some crispy fries. Also, I think the waiter forgot my burger order because every table got their burger before their pizza except ours. When my husband was already on his last slice of pizza, I had to ask if my burger was still coming. By the time it came, I had to eat this by myself and was a bit too full to even enjoy it anymore. Overall, loved the food here especially the wings that I find so underrated. The service was a bit off and it felt like it was just me sadly. Plus, the space is just way too cramped. It looks like others who celebrated their birthday here gets a Banana Pudding, so that's a plus.

They say some things age like fine wine, and I believe this restaurant falls in that category. After 55 years, this family oriented fast food shop known for its famous roast beef sandwich and other popular greasy goodness is still standing. I swung by recently for my usuals and glad to report that everything still tasted the same, just slightly more pricey year after year as expected. My regular order has always been the Roast Beef w/ Cheese, which was maybe $4 when I first tasted it over 25 years ago. It is now $9.45 or $.50 less for no cheese. Regardless, the roast beef (medium) is still tender and juicy, piled on top of a soft and pillowy, freshly made bread that's been dunked in a bath of delicious beef gravy. The ooey gooey cheese makes it complete for me. Everything else is solid. Nothing fantastic or worth driving out of your way for. Don't come here looking for the best version of everything on the menu. However, if in the neighborhood, this place is an inexpensive experience that brings you back in time, when the world was less complicated and a night out with family meant a delicious trip to a local restaurant like Roll-N-Roaster. Yuzu honey lemonade has bits of citrus at the bottom of the drink and it was refreshing. I saved the chicken bites hours later and it was still pretty crispy after being microwave.
