Upon entering, the bakery does look a bit old and outdated but it was clean. They had different types of cakes on display for sale with prices. I came mainly to try their slices of cake and went for the famous mango slice and I wanted to try the chocolate flan. I can see why everyone is raving about the mango cake! It's soft and taste fresh. Layers of sponge cake, whipped cream and fresh mangos inside. Chocolate flan was ok. It wasn't too sweet. Chocolate cake on the bottom with flan on top. However the chocolate shavings on top tasted a bit...artificial? Overall, not a bad slice of cake. I think the owner is Asian because only Asian bakeries make their cakes like sponges. It is not too sweet and so light. I don't have to travel to SGV to get my cakes now since its right down the street from my work. I was able to get prices on full sheet cakes if I was to order a big cake. He did say to give them 1-2 days advance when ordering. I will be back!

Two items for immediate consumption and then some cookies for later. We purchased a dozen of the regular size cookies, including both Ube and Thai Tea. Both of them were excellent, and I felt they were priced appropriately at a dozen for $18. The Thai Tea seriously tasted like you were truly drinking a thai tea. We also shared one large classic chocolate chip cookies (so yummy!) The only thing we didn't understand is that we shared a Ube Tres Leches. I am not sure what was going on. Don't get me wrong, what we ate was very good; however, it was 100% not Tres Leches. It was an Ube Cream with some graham cracker crumble underneath. So, my assumption is that they must have just given us the wrong item. I would love to try the Tres Leches again in the future. Please support his lovely local business. It was a real treat!
