I called them for a liner change on a 2 year old pool. They drained it 20-25ft uphill. 5000 gallons of water ran straight into my pool, collapsing the wall. I spoke with Bobby, one of the owners. He said that these things happen when you partially bury pools, even though when I asked if it being partially buried would be a problem he said no, "pools are what we do". None of the other sides collapsed from the weight of being buried, just the side with the river flowing into it. They put it back up and it's a crumpled wall that's far from flush with the uprights. I do not feel like the pool is safe for my kids since the wall is bulging at the bottom and caving in at the middle. They all seem like pleasant people, I just wish they would own up to mistakes made. read more

Ever since Nik died this place has continued to go downhill. Short-staffed and inept counter people disappoint with slow service and bumbling competence. Their priorities seem to be confused--I had about $800.00 worth of chemicals lined up for purchase when the counter rep disappears and takes the next person in line behind me to do a free water test. Stood around for 15 minutes waiting to get cashed-out but gave up and went to Leslie's where I bought the same chemicals and a new Polaris pool bot. read more

It is very rare these days to find a kind honest business that looks out for the needs of the customer. Although as a business they need to generate revenue it's not all about money with them. they take pride in the services they provide and the knowledge they share with their customers regarding pool needs.They repaired my pump for a very reasonable price compared to other companies that wanted twice the amount if not more. Bobby bless his heart took care of my pool chemicals once a week checking them and adjusting things as needed. He did not charge me anything! Although I offered pay what little I could, he refused. I was an emotional mess with a very tight budget. I thought at first he was only going to do this for maybe a few weeks until I could get past some things. Nope. He continued to come by weekly for over a year until I recently sold my home. All I had to do was provide the chemicals that he requested to keep the pool maintained. The prices at the shop for the chemicals we're extremely reasonable compared to other pool supply stores. All staff are fully knowledgeable regarding your pool needs. They will tell you what you need and what you don't need. Bobby went the extra step for me. He also converted my pool to a mineral pool to reduce the cost of me having to buy so many chemicals. It's not that often that you run across someone who is kind enough to do something above and beyond without wanting anything in return. It restored my faith that there are still good people in this world. Blue bottom pools also reshelled my pool for a very low cost. It was completed quickly and professionally. Thanks to Blue bottom pools we were able to enjoy the pool with no stress and little cost for a year before selling the home. Had it not been for blue bottom pools help and support in keeping my pool maintained that would not have happened. All of the companies I checked into we're extremely expensive and non compassionate towards the customer. It's a no-brainer folks. We just had 2 LED full color lights replaced. The customer service from the scheduler to the installers was professional and top notch. The price and brand of LEDS was more affordable (way more) than the big chain store. Their turn around time was less than a week and they were able to schedule the install prior to the 4th of July (aka the peak time of the year)! Ugh! I have to say owning a pool is a pain. (Especially when you have 4 extremely large oak trees in your yard!) I've gone to their competitor in the past. The other guys are so uncaring and sloppy. I won't go back to them again. Blue Bottom Pools are so compassionate about what they do, they are willing to spend a ton of extra time explaining the reasons behind each chemical. They will prescribe chemicals that help you maintain your pool so much easier. In the spring my trees dump a ton of pollen and leaves in my pool, making it a lovely brown color. In a matter of about a week Blue Bottom Pools had my pool back to normal, without draining the pool or a ton of chemicals. Their water sample test is mostly done by computer and not by someone guessing what color the sample looks like. read more

Blue Bottom Pool Supply has been taking care of our family's pool for almost three years now and they are amazing. Our pool is located among enormous oak trees and even though we have trimmed back we tend to see a lot of pollen and leaves tumbling into our pool. The folks at Blue Bottom not only keep it clean but they keep it clear, blue and beautiful. With five kids jumping in and out of the pool daily during the summer it is wonderful for me to not to not have to worry about it being clean and safe for our family because I know that the people over at Blue Bottom Pools are on it. Over the years we have had skimmers break and washers give out and it is a simple call to Bobby and or Shayla and they are on task every time with not only getting the items replaced for us but with super low prices so we can spend more on floaty toys for the kids.
