While we were fortunate enough to find a good spot, our son had to park down the street. Despite being crowded on a Sunday morning, and the place being small, with limited seating, we were shown a very nice corner table by the window. Our server was a very nice woman, athletic-looking, with glasses. She did an excellent job of taking care of us, and was very warm and friendly. My wife had a veggie scramble; I had the breakfast burrito. The burrito was large, with eggs, hash browns, and your choice of meat; I chose sausage. It was smothered in a tasty green chile sauce, along with sour cream. Very delicious, though I might ask for a red sauce next time. So far, Rupert's is our favorite breakfast spot in town.

We had found ourselves on a waitlist at some "fried stuff with cheese" restaurant down the street, which nothing at all looked appetizing to me so I vetoed. Got on Yelp, found 636 well rated nearby and the menu looked wonderful. Got here to a healthy amount of patrons and warm ambiance/atmosphere. Service was great despite me being an annoying tourist. I tried every dish we had plus the hot rolls, which have a buttery pimento dip. Everyone agreed that the food was spectacular. Of all the things to love about 636 (which there are many), my favorite is that when I mentioned our anniversary to the lady, she said "Oh! I'll get the anniversary confetti!" Hilarious and endearing. I love Durango already, and 636 made such a great impression. Thank you!

We were seated on the patio and it took quite a while for our server to greet us. Once she did, she brought water and took our drink order. She returned with our drinks and said she would be back to take our food order. We had plenty to talk about while waiting, but she repeatedly walked past our table to attend to other tables without stopping. Eventually, I had to stop her and let her know we were ready to order. My wife and our friend's wife both ordered a pasta dish with sliced steak and spinach. My friend had a salad with salmon and a bowl of soup, and I ordered the filet with potato lasagna and spinach. As the evening went on, it became breezy and chilly. I asked another server if the patio heater could be turned on, and someone came over right away to help, which we appreciated. When our meals arrived, everything looked excellent and tasted very good. The food was definitely the highlight of the evening. Unfortunately, our server only stopped by our table once during the entire meal to check on us and it was lien she was in a rush to leave to table. We spent a long time waiting to see if she would ask whether we needed anything or if we were finished. It wasn't as though she had to go out of her way to reach us--she walked past our table numerous times while serving her other tables. Because of the lack of attention, I once again had to get her attention to let her know we were finished and ask for a dessert menu. I ordered the Dubai Chocolate dessert to go after she highly recommended it. Unfortunately, it did not live up to the description once I had a chance to eat it. The chocolate flavor was very mild, and the crunchy layer on the bottom was not particularly enjoyable nothing like a Dubai Chocolate. Overall, the food was excellent and deserving of praise. However, for a fine dining restaurant where both the food and drinks come at premium prices, the service fell well short of expectations. Great meals can make for a memorable evening, but attentive service is an important part of the fine dining experience, and unfortunately that was missing during our visit.

Not my favorite type of table as I am shorter and having to keep my feet on the footrest or dangle them is uncomfortable. The A.C. was also running on a rainy cold day. I kept my jacket on throughout the meal, which is a little uncomfortable. On to the food, I ordered a shrimp scampi, which came with spinach, asparagus, and red pepper. Lots of veggies and shrimp, with smaller portion of pasta. It was delicious. My S.O. ordered the beef bordelaise, with gravy, mashed potatoes, and asparagus. Unfortunately, the beef bordelaise had several cold bites in it. Thankfully the mashed potatoes were hot so he could mix the bites. He did not ask them to address it. He definitely does not like to send things back, and cause issues with the kitchen. I would have sent it back, especially with the chilly day and AC running. Our waitress was friendly; she checked on us periodically and took empty plates quickly (huge plus!) and brought the check quickly. Happy to eat lunch here, but if I go there again, I will ask to sit in the front at a regular table.

Overhearing conversations, it sounded like staff have been there a long time and local service industry folks come here after work. Both of these are big green flags in the industry. My appetizer was a tasty peppery kick calamari dish. The kick wasn't too bad for you non spicy folks. The dish was light and crispy just how great calamari should be. Then came the branzino. I do not eat the skin of fish typically, but this dish was to tasty and the skin was the perfect level of crispy. The branzino and the wine went so well together, I was eating my desert early. The flavors popped in my mouth. At this point I was done but my amazing waiter Tyler did ask if I wanted to see the desert Menu and since I thought if the rest of the food was this delicious why not. I ended up ordering the white chocolate cheesecake. OH MY GOD, it melted in my mouth. The cheesecake wasn't overly rich but it was smooth, definitely fresh. The berries and the whipped cream balanced it out and that cheesecake didn't stand a chance. As a foodie from Las Vegas, I have been to a numerous amount of amazing restaurants. I cannot express my surprise at finding seasons here in Durango. This is definitely going to be one of my go to restaurants every time I visit this beautiful town. We also split two orders of large fries. My partner got a root beer and I got a cherry cream soda. Everything was delicious! It was absolutely worth the wait. My burger was more towards well done than medium well, which is something I see a lot and I think I'm just going to start ordering medium any time I get a burger now. It was juicy and delicious, and the rosemary garlic aioli was delicious! The fry sauce was also some of the best I've had, and we left the cup scraped clean.
