Went in for a fill-in, only had to wait about 5 minutes which wasn't bad. I noticed a sign that indicated a price change, I'm sure it meant that the price was going up. I figured it couldn't be more than a few dollars for a fill and polish. I decided to get an airbrush French tip, one lady did my fill while another lady did my airbrush, she indicated that she had never done it before. So why is she doing it then? Needless to say, I had to pay $40 for this mediocre service AND come back the NEXT DAY to get my airbrush redone because it was already chipping. I've had the WORST experience here. The guy that did my nails did a terrible job. They were uneven, he did no where even CLOSE to the design that I asked for and when he finished said "oh well I tried my best." Not to mention they were rude. I have gone to a few nail salons in Cincinnati in the past 3 years since I moved to the area and none can compare to Blue Ash Nails. This is now my preferred salon after spontaneously trying it out on Saturday. The prices are reasonable, location is great, and the staff is friendly. The technician who did my nails did a fantastic job. I got a pedicure and he fixed my messed up toenails perfectly and my shellac nails look very nice. They have a large selection of color choices for the shellac as well, more choices than I've seen at any other salons. I will be returning. read more

I was in here back in May getting a mani and pedi for a wedding. I read a few reviews and based my decision off the reviews . My pedicure was great! No joke it lasted well after the wedding was over with and a few weeks after the wedding it still looked like new. My manicure was chipped and ruined during the wedding. I tried to get a pedicure on Sunday. I understand that Sundays in the summer are busy. They sat me to soak my feet. After 20 minutes the water was cold. Several more minutes past and other ladies that came in after me were getting service. I was totally ignored for at least a half hour. Nothing offered to drink, no one asked if I minded waiting. No one even looked me in the eye. I finally got up and said I was tired of waiting. One male employee followed me outside, kept trying to talk to me, offered me free service. No thanks. These people are rude and acted like customers were an annoyance. The male employee continued to get close to my car door and I had to yell at him to get away from my car more than once. One more minute and I may have called the police. This place doesn't deserve my business. read more

Omg!!!!!! I went in and got acrylic on my short real nails ...43 dollars ok I was cool with it.. Taylor was even great at her craft! I was honestly thinking of tipping her.. In the middle of doing my nails I hear her mumble something about cuticles.. I said huh?? She then said a tad bit louder.. something like you want me to clean or fix my cuticles ;I don't know! Cause she speaking so low... so I said yeah... I'm thinking that's something that is normally done throughout the process...then when it was time to pay(before my polish was applied) I see 53.00 ?! I'm like huh? Why is it more??? She says she told me it was 10 dollars for the cuticles .... OMG. I'm not a liar nor a thief and I was pissed!! That woman barely was audible to even clearly understand. Let me tell you the rest though.... she got all upset at me for me telling her what I thought of the whole thing and standing up for myself... so she goes all huffy puffy like offering me a refund and pay the original 43. Ok cool!!! Thank you but being totally bothered about it all not realizing I swiped my card twice for both prices... and she showed me her phone to show me she refunded the first charge of 53 dollars.... but in total my card was charged in total 96 dollars (cause I have yet to get it back on my card) for acrylic on my regular short nails. That's a pretty wack experience. So beware of the low talking girl there named Taylor... she may charge for something in a cunning way. And then act like your wrong and then over charge your card 53 dollars for a 10 dollar refund. Terrible! read more

Short wait time and plenty of open seats as this establishment has a churn and burn type of business model, quantity over quality. They sell everything, so if you're looking to try all of the newest/trendy services, and don't care as much about quality of service - look no further. With so many techs I'm sure you can get lucky by landing one that takes pride in their work and knows how to build rapport with the customer, however, that's not always the case as much of the staff is new and currently being 'trained'. In short, I got a pedi, mani, and full set SNS for about $75. SNS lasted less than 24 hours before cracking. The manager was very helpful in doing a 'rush job' to repair 1 nail when I returned the next day. Not even a week later 4 nails are cracked. Proceed with caution. read more

Although I have not been here yet, I've been trying to contact this place for three days now and haven't heard a word. I started off by filling out the form they have on their website so that I could make an appointment for my mother and myself. They said that they would contact me either via email or phone. That was three days ago and I have yet to hear from them. Then yesterday I sent them a message through their Facebook because I had a question about pricing since they don't have prices listed on their website. I hadn't heard anything back on Facebook messenger from them so when I checked the app, it said they had viewed the message. BUT NO RESPONSE. Because I work full time everyday, I haven't had the time to try to call them on the phone to try to set up an appointment, but I think it's ridiculous that I have tried other forms of communication over the course of three days now and haven't heard a word back yet. Well, I've never been here, and I'm never going to now. I just called to ask if they could do a pedicure for my 3 year old daughter. She has a problem with her toenails... both big toenails get really thick. They look like they have a fungus, but they don't (I've taken her to two podiatrists, and she just has some sort of hyperkeratosis). I have to file down her toenails to make them less thick, but she doesn't like it and it's hard to do. I called to ask if they could do this for her, and also give her a mini-pedicure...let her soak her feet like mommy, and paint her toenails, too. I thought she would object less to having her toes touched if someone else did it, and if we made it fun. The guy who answered the phone was really unfriendly. I asked about a pedicure for her, going into much less detail about it with him than I just did here. I waited for what seemed like forever for him to reply...I thought maybe the call had dropped. The guy said, "Are you done?" with an exasperated tone in his voice, as if I had gone on and on for an eternity. He then added that they would only cut her toenails, no polish. That it would be impossible to put polish on a kid her age. I told him that her grandmother painted her toenails once, and now she requests it often...that I paint her toenails all the time (she doesn't mind someone touching her feet to put polish on...that's not the difficult part...but she does really dislike having her nails filed down). I said, could you just let her soak her feet, file down her nails, and put polish on? And what would that cost? He didn't answer my question, just barked that I would have to hold her (well, of course I would!), and then impatiently added, "just come in, come in." No, no thanks, I'm not coming in. I'm not some rich, pampered mom getting my daughter into the habit of pedicures at a super young age, just for the hell of it. I'm trying to find a way to manage her toenail issue in a fun, less painful way for the both of us. For the record, I get a pedicure maybe once or twice a year...I don't really care about having polished toenails all the time, and I think of pedicures as an extravagance. But perhaps, if this had been a fun experience for her, I would have considered doing a mother-daughter pedicure day on a somewhat regular basis. read more

Went in to have my acrylic nails removed that I have gotten filled there before and it took an hour and half! I was told it would take MAYBE 20 minutes to get them removed, they started soaking me then proceeded to forget about me and serve everyone else. Very inconsiderate considering I have been a faithful customer for over 2 years, getting manis, pedis, and acrylics. Then when I asked when someone was going to get to me after over 45 minutes of waiting and soaking they told me it would only be a few more minutes. The owner came over and looked at my soaking nails then proceeded to go and serve another woman who had just walked in. Well over 20 minutes after that I was finally taken care of after saying I was going to leave with my goopy acrylics and go somewhere else. POOR service for someone who have referred and gone there so often and tipped very well. Will be giving my business to someone else for now on. They are pricy for their service. I recommend if you are getting a mani/pedi to get the "express" since it cuts out the so-called "massage" they do. Which is not a massage at all. read more

Although I've been to this Nail place for a long time, I will choose somewhere that 's a smaller business next time. Since the expansion, although there are more nail techs, the manager puts too much pressure and expectation on his wife, Jamilla. Because of this when I wanted a simple polish on my nails and toenails, the roughness and ridges on all my nails was not smoothed out before the paint. I needed a really good job because this was a special occassion (a job interview) and the results were very sad. I can easily do better on my own, buffing my own ridges so I can get a smooth polished look. I'm sure because that would take too much time, and Jamilla was answering phones and all kinds of other things besides caring for what I paid for. If I can't get a quality attention for something simple like this, I really don't think this is the place for me. Also the chair was soooo uncomfortable!!! I turned the machine off! I think of it as a runaway machine, not gentle at all. I was afraid of getting an injury to my spine or dislocating my back. The newly expanded store is beautiful but I'm not interested in beauty in the atmosphere but in a quality, slow job that pays attention to what I'm paying for. But I know I'm only one. If the owner reads this, I recommend you provide a more relaxing schedule for Jamilla (and mayby please give her a vacation or some breaks because a lack of attention to the detail (as in smoothing ridges on the nail before paining so there is a glossy quality work of nail) She was so rushed she also left the last color under the clear. I believe comes as a result of mistreatment of someone who needs to be cherished and honored. Also, she looked like her body was in pain. No wonder she couldn't provide good service. I wasn't sure if I didn't hear her or something so I stood at the desk and waited for a few minutes trying to get someone's attention. Finally, a worker walked by but still ignored me- I asked her how long the wait would be and she said she didn't know and pointed to the original person that ignored me.
