We found this place online and drove from Rockaway Beach when we were in Oregon for vacation. It was my mom's 80th birthday and we were looking for a good place for breakfast. Four of the five in our party ordered the Great White Burrito with potatoes and we all enjoyed it very much. My hubby ordered the French toast and he enjoyed his breakfast as well. They surprised us with a Berry Shortcake because of my mother's birthday and even joined us when we sang to her. The coffee was very good! One of the best restaurants on the coast. It's this hidden little gem that looks loved by the locals with how busy they were. The crab cakes were fantastic and enough for a meal or an appetizer to share. The fish tacos were one of the best I've ever had although the tortillas kept falling apart. So we arrived at 11:15 and they looked at us funny when we were disappointed they weren't serving breakfast. "It's 11:15", they said... yah, my point exactly, it's still morning, but whatever, we were hungry so we decided to eat there anyway. We ordered seafood Cobb salads (which contained bacon and eggs so it was kind of like breakfast) which were good and super yummy with the crab. The view was amazing. I love this little place. Unpretentious, priced right, nice people and great food. I love their breakfast especially crab cakes benedict with home fries. Another favorite is the pork tacos for lunch with apple slaw and cilantro. They have a little patio in back with picnic tables and peek ocean views, great for summer days. We visited on 11/10/23 @1:00pm. The restaurant was full. The blonde young lady who greated us was rude, unprofessional and overly aggressive. We were happy to get an order togo, as she clearly seemed overwhelmed. As we were looking over the menu to make a selection, she walked past and curtly said " getting an order togo will be the same time as if you wait." I completely understand the intention to communicate information... but do it with some amount of grace. With that being said she was very young and possibly inexperienced. Needless to say we are people who believe in putting your money where your mouth is. I let the hostess know that we would not be placing an order and maybe next time, have better customer service. The Food was delicious, so many interesting choices on the menu. The female server was very kind. The food did seem to take longer to come out from the kitchen than it should have. The breakfasts are truly phenomenal. The flavor bursts out of them. My favorites are the Eggs Florentine and the sea garden burrito. Both are vegetarian. The salsa is the freshest you can imagine, the mushrooms amazing. May be my favorite breakfast anywhere and that is saying something as Portland has amazing vegetarian food. I'd prefer to rate them on their food, but...we couldn't get anyone to wait on us past slamming some waters and a couple of menus down on the table. We went in on a Monday afternoon. The few tables out on the patio were occupied, so we sat in the dining room. When we arrived, we were the only ones in the room. Menus and water were presented without a nod or a smile. I counted 5 people scurrying around the tiny kitchen, apparently all too busy to take our order. Perhaps everyone was burned out from a busy weekend; perhaps their "A Team" had the day off, I really don't know. A sign on the wall asked for "patience," since all their food is cooked to order. After visiting Cape Meares, we stopped in Oceanside to for nourishment and happened on this cafe. It was very busy, but we managed to find a table by a window that we eventually shared with another couple. My wife ordered a pair of flapjacks (pancakes) accompanied by butter and syrup. These turned out to be too thick so and dry so she did not come close to finishing. I fared considerably better by ordering the breakfast sandy - 2 scrambled eggs, avocado, tomato, cheddar cheese, house roasted red pepper and bacon aioli. Service throughout was friendly. read more

Breakfast sandy had special red sauce and avocados, delicious. Regular breakfast had some amazing scallop potatoes. Country fries steak's gravy was good but I'm not a fan of the non-crispy patties as with the gravy these non-crispy parties will most definitely end up being soggy, creating this impossible window for one to consume if they don't want a soggy patty. We were so excited to visit this restaurant based on the reviews. We called ahead and even came by at 10:15 am on a Thursday - they are supposed to be open at 9 am on Thursdays. They were closed - we were staying in The area and even checked it out the night before- everything said they would be open on a Thursday (even their voicemail when we tried to call). A local person we ran into in front of the restaurant said "they had more pressing things to do than open today." Very disappointed so ended up going down the street half a block to the cafe beside the surf shop and had a decent breakfast sandwich and okay latte. read more

We wanted to support a local business during this pandemic...as well as being tired of our own cooking. So after seeing signs in the window that they are open for take out Wednesday through Sunday 8-3, we called in a lunch order. Wow, just wow! My chicken and bacon melt on grilled sourdough with Apple pesto was delicious (especially the Parmesan cheese on the grilled bread). My husbands sandwich was chicken/bacon/avocado and he loved it. Your breakfasts have always been excellent, so now can't wait to try your tacos and other goodies. I was not that impressed with the food. the gravy they made was very bland which took away tremendously from the meal I had. although I can not remember the name of the dish I had. but it was basically an eggs Benedict and sub out the hollandaise sauce for a sausage gravy. maybe this place all had 5 star reviews because this area does not offer much for good breakfast restaurants. Great little place on the Oregon Coast. Food is incredibly fresh and flavorful. Had the Crab-Shrimp Melt and was so impressed with the amount and quality of the crab and other ingredients, especially the pesto. Yes, you will likely have a 15 to 30 minute wait for a table but it is so worth the wait. We came back for breakfast and even more impressed. I had the Country Benedict and it was Super!
