$20. Rip off dry and lame

Absolute garbage food for expensive restaurant prices.. it's a shame. Everything always goes from great to worse really quick if they think they can keep returning customers with this shit that they sell they won't the only thing good is the pizza $25 for two tacos and a handful of chips... that was for me and then $20 for my wife's two pieces of fish french fries which actually were good and coleslaw with two slices of lemon and then another $14 for $.10 worth of cauliflower. I started coming here back around 2000 it was good for several years until recently unfortunately

Have been coming to this restaurant on and off for over 30 yrs. New ownership is doing a great job. Food is always super tasty, service usually really Great (love Caitlin and Crystal is great too). Pizzas are AMAZING and love the honey option! So good on pizza! Great wine selection and craft cocktails!! And, the view is phenomenal. Happy they have the outdoor seating and coverage in wintertime and their plaid branded blankets are a nice touch! Love Neskowin and Hawk Creek cafe!!

A great little lunch spot to refuel after running around the beach nearby - with excellent comfort food, inviting atmosphere, friendly staff, and great views of the little creek that runs across the beach and out into the pacific. After wading around in the chilly waters along the Pacific shoreline, the grilled cheese and tomato basil soup was just the warm-up comfort food I needed and it was DELISH!! The sandwich is made with Tillamook cheese from the nearby creamery - which is my absolute fave cheese of all time! And the soup was savory and delightful - so cozy! I couldn't resist starting with the spinach artichoke dip though and I was not disappointed! It's a hearty version of the app and comes with these perfectly toasted breads - flawless! This is one of the only food options in the part of Neskowin right by the state beach so it's a little more pricey but the quality is there. Plus it's extremely convenient, very cozy and the staff are lovely. There's plenty of parking on site or immediately across the street in the free beach parking lot which is huge - but fills up fast in the summer.

Super friendly service a real wait staff talking about specials letting you know what this rocking and special for the day. A small little spot next to the trail to Neskowin beach access trial. It's a place probably growing out of its surroundings but a piece of the community. Laid back constantly flowing in and out. I remembered to take pictures this time. I wish there was a flavor option for taking pictures. The soup as a starter is above average for clam chowder. We were told they were just finishing the next batch and we were willing to wait. Just creamy and beyond the normal flavor of just potato soup with some clams I highly recommend the fish tacos. Cajun not overwhelming but enough to give flavor profiles you may have never experienced. Combined with pickled onions Cole slaw in their own chipotle like sauce and salsa. They also come with chips they make from scratch. The initial thought was only two? The last thought was I only needed two. The Alfredo has multiple cheese flavors each tripping sensory spots on your tounge. Don't overlook this great restaurant in Neskowin. Tell them Todd sent you score yourself some points

I miss Hawk Creek Cafe of the early 2000's like 2001. It's just not the same anymore. Yeah this inside is a bit bigger. They expanded the outside. It's pretty cute. But I came here for food after a day at the beach. I got the cheesesteak expecting a nice hearty sandwich. Instead I had a tiny sandwich that was bland. I had to add salt to it. Just to give it some flavor. And I left hungry. 22 dollars. I've had egg rolls bigger than this sandwich. I'm sorry hawk creek cafe for this review but that's what this app is about. Honest reviews. I'm afraid to try the pizza as it may have gone down hill too. To be honest neskowin is a beautiful quaint community. This restaurant has gone down hill. And don't get me started on the market across the way. Whatever they did there they ruined it. Unfortunately I won't be back. The best part of this place is the coziness and by the creek. Our waitress was lovely.

We came on a weekday and were seated right away. Good thing too because it started getting packed for lunch right after we arrived. The service was good. Yes, they are short staffed and the food does take awhile but it's understandable. Our food took about an hour to come out. The pizza here is absolutely incredible. It's cooked perfectly, soft, and soooo good. We had a pepperoni pizza alongside a Caesar salad and fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp. The salad was a good option to start with. I enjoyed it. The Alfredo on the other hand came only with three shrimps, was a little bit warm, and the flavor was just not good. I took maybe five bites, ate the shrimp, then shared the pizza with my husband. I'm glad he had that so I could actually eat lunch. The pasta was not a good choice. Only get the pizza!

The service was good. The ambiance was nice. The clam chowder was overly thickened. The cheeseburger was so so. The onion rings were doughy.

The walls are alive with local art, colors dancing, Grateful Dead vibes everywhere you look. Even the menu's singing... dish names straight out of a setlist, like you're ordering breakfast at a show that never really ended. Now the Marionberry French toast... oh man. I ordered the seafood Diablo pasta. It had so much seafood from the crab, clams, shrimp, and fish. I had seven or eight clams and they give you a dish to put them in after the clam is removed. I was slightly dismayed in that only three of my clam shells had clams. The rest were in the shell and they were empty. The flavor was slightly spicy, and there was so much food. I had plenty of leftovers. My husband had the herb crusted, lingcod. He had mashed potatoes and brussels sprouts in the dish. The food was divine. The fish was tender. And the entire meal was delicious. For dessert, I had the strawberry rhubarb cobbler. It came with a ginormous scoop of ice cream. The cobbler was served warm and it was so much food. We were so pleased with this restaurant. The views were incredible, the food was delicious. Our only complaint is that the hostess had no personality. She ignored us when we came in, dropped us off at our table with the menus and said nothing, then when we left, we said goodbye and she said yup. I think she needs an attitude check from management. Other than our negative encounter with her, this dining experience was darn near perfect. I will give this restaurant 4.9 stars. The small amount was removed because of the hostess.

My mouth was watering to try the focaccia bread with olive oil, but my husband reminded me I'd already promised him clam chowder elsewhere! Our server was friendly and prompt. Since this is a small space that seats about 20-25 people, a waitline is a common occurrence, yet we never felt rushed.
