Ham & Tilamook white cheese omelette, German potatoes, sourdough wheat toast, coffee, & clear water, even orange slice & parsley sprig tasty

I can't visit Lincoln City without dining at Otis Cafe, restaurant with hard working staff that cares about great service & food, the way restaurants, especially the local mom & pop places used to be. So much enthusiasm covering each customer, genuine hospitality & smiles, and tastes that really pop. I love their breakfast but got in around noon so ordered a cheeseburger and wow, homemade bun, fresh ground beef, fresh tomato & lettuce topped off with Tillamook white cheese, it was perfect. They didn't have fries, must not have a fryer, but their German potatoes is something else, hash browns with sweet & green onion topped with Tillamook white cheese that I did not dare cover with my usual ketchup. It was busy, which I'm happy for the establishment that they are doing great business, can be a little too noisy but that is the price to pay for going to a great restaurant, pus I always love taking a loaf of their sourdough wheat bread & a couple shakers of their own seasoning for my own grilling.

Always a favorite! Went this morning- great service, grest food, great coffee and fresh baked bread. My wife had the cinnamon roll French toast. So good! Love this place, and they are one of the reasons we come to Lincoln City!

Boy have I missed the molasses bread! I had no clue they had moved to Lincoln City, but so happy to know where they are now. Suburb customer service, food came out quickly and in abundance. Great spot for breakfast and lunch, go hungry and don't skip the Black Bread!!

Yum! Such a busy little restaurant where every single table was full and the minute one wasn't it was immediately cleaned and filled. We got our food almost immediately and it was super fresh and flavorful. I love that I can get hashbrowns with my burger here although the shape of the hashbrowns was unusual. Overall delicious and worth it!

WOW, this is the way a restaurant should be run! Have driven by several times and the parking lot is ALWAYS full and People waiting outside. We came in at 11 AM on a Tuesday, parking lot full and folks waiting outside. Gave them our name and told us 45 min, YIKES!! In less than 15 minutes we were in and in less than 15 min more we had our food... The table were CLEAN, not sticky, fully stocked with salt and pepper, jellies, napkins, silverware and condiments. Jorge, our server was one of the best servers anywhere and extremely attentive to all our wants and needs. We ordered coffee, ice tea, Chicken Fried Steak and with sausage gravy, eggs, hash browns and sour dough toast, Chorizo Scramble and two cinnamon rolls to take home. UPDATE, THE CINNAMON ROLLS WERE OUTSTANDING, very large!!!!!!! Everything came from the kitchen in no time, was hot and delicious. So much food with the Chicken Fried steak (so tender could cut it with a fork) had to take it home in a to go bag. We arrived at the restaurant at 11AM, waited, seated, ordered, ate and left at 12 noon. This is a well run operation, the staff was constantly cleaning, setting up new tables, bringing water coffee etc. NOT ONE EMPLOYEE WAS STANDING AROUND, they were busy little bees. They turn a lot in tables in an hour!!! Rated a 4 because my eggs were over cooked and toast was not toasted very much.

We went there for New Year's Day breakfast and it was incredible. Had banana bread french toast and bought several loaves of fresh bread that are the best. Our server was so happy and made us feel at home. A great place to eat for breakfast or lunch, you can't go wrong. I even stopped back by on my way out of town to get more bread to share with friends and family.

I arrived as a party of 2 around 9:30 on a Tuesday, was seated around 9:45, and got our food around 10:00. So pretty quick service for a busy cafe! The staff is absolutely the sweetest and seemed very enthusiastic. They checked in on us just the perfect amount-- not too frequent or infrequent. They seemed proud of the food and service they provide, which I appreciated. The cafe felt very typical homey diner and I thought it was very unique that they have/sell their own seasoning blend and ceramics. Clean and tidy. German Potatoes 5/5 I ordered a HALF order of German potatoes with an egg and bacon. And oh my goodness, this was so much food. The dish arrived and stayed hot during the entire time I was eating. They really piled on the bacon and cheese and it balanced the potatoes well. I loved adding their seasoning salt to the potatoes! Biscuits and Gravy 5/5 We ordered a full order and originally thought it would only be two biscuits. So imagine our surprised when SIX GIANT fluffy biscuits smothered in gravy came out! I genuinely felt like this one dish could've fed a family. The gravy was thick and full of flavor. The biscuits were fluffy and huge. The total was around $33 which is an absolute steal for basically 4 portions of amazing food. I would love to visit again if I'm ever in town.

Service was so quick and friendly! The tables are pretty close together but it wasn't loud. While I appreciate the time they take to make their potatoes and bread our potatoes weren't as crispy as expected. We took the left overs home and they were better the next day. The bread is very thick but come already over buttered. I'll ask for dry next time. My made to order veg omelet was so full of broccoli, cauliflower, mushrooms, and spinach was so good! His ham and cheese omelet was overflowing with filling.

Fresh, hot coffee, great service, the yummiest of food options, and the bakery case? Whoa!! The music playlist was super today, too! Thank you, Otis Cafe.

Chicken fried steak, eggs, molasses bread, sub hash browns with German potatoes (what they're known for) & 1 sourdough pancake.

Otis Cafe is hands down the best brunch spot in Lincoln City. It does get busy really fast, but it's absolutely worth the wait. Thankfully, we arrived at the perfect time and didn't have to wait long at all. Our order was taken shortly after we were seated, and compared to others around us, our food came out pretty quickly. The service was great and efficient. We ordered the chicken fried steak with sausage gravy, sunny-side-up eggs, molasses bread, and subbed the hash browns for their famous German potatoes. The chicken fried steak was seasoned to perfection--crispy on the outside while still juicy on the inside. The sausage gravy was very flavorful; you truly don't need to season this dish at all. The German potatoes are essentially Tillamook cheese with onions and green onions on top. I'm not usually a big cheese fan, so it was a bit much for me personally, but we wanted to try it--and I did love the onions mixed in. We also shared one sourdough pancake, which surprisingly was so yummy and just the right size for sharing. Everything was super flavorful, the portions were huge (even sharing, we couldn't finish everything), and the prices were very reasonable--around $31 total for all of this. We would definitely come back and highly recommend Otis Cafe to anyone visiting Lincoln City.

Otis is a must try if you're visiting or even new to the area! Their food is amazing and served in perfect portions! Their bread is made in house and is a must!! Sometimes we even take a loaf home. I live over an hour away and have to go at least once a month because the food is just that good! To top it off, their service is amazing with friendly and kind staff who make it easy to return! The ambiance inside is open and bright, especially on sunny days because of the large windows. Beware: if you order the German Potatoes that a full order is MASSIVE!!! For context, I only order the quarter order for myself. Definitely recommend, 10/10!

10/10 my favorite brunch spot in the city. Their cinnamon rolls are absolutely amazing, and famous for a reason. They run out fast so grab them early on while you can Their German potatoes are very filing, delicious and their portions are generous. This was a half order and I still couldn't finish in one go lol Their service was top notch even with the rush. I loved that our waitress gave good recommendations and told me to get a half instead of a full as it is a big portion. Great location with a nice view

Biscuits and gravy only no biscuits. Tons of carbs here I only ate half and my wife only took a couple bits. Very disappointed.

Well we are spending a couple days in Lincoln City. So, we thought we would try Otis Cafe. It was busy for a weekday morning, and we made our order of biscuits and gravy with hash browns. We got fresh coffee and water, and our waitress was very attentive. We got our order a few minutes later. So we were eating and both thought were is the biscuits? So we continued eating and no biscuits . We went on to eat a little more and were both puzzled we had no biscuits. I asked my wife did she want to bring it up to the waitress and she decided not too. We both realized this was too much carbs and ate very little. We went and paid for our breakfast and my wife brought up the concern to the cashier who was a little condesending over the discussion about not getting biscuits . She came across as though it was not the servers mistake it was ours. She did nothing to correct it by offering some resolution to make our experience better. We did not spend much but it was the attention to the customer interaction that could have been so much better. We looked at other tables and the food looks good. The cost is not too bad. What could have been done better is the waitress could have explained if you order this it only comes with this item so if you want another option here is xyz . Yeah we missed it on the menu that it is either biscuits and gravy or gravy and hash browns which is what we got. Would I recommend yes will I go back no. So you be the judge and read the menu carefully because you may get something that you don't want and you cannot rely on the waitress to correct you . Yours truly the food reviewer.
