Cute place. It's small and fills up fast and I can definitely see why. The portions are generous and the food tastes great! Prices were reasonable. Sourdough wheat bread is made fresh and you can purchase a loaf to take with you (great if you're staying at the coast a few days). We ordered the redneck Benedict with a side of bacon and an omelette. Fantastic choices! Of course we both upgraded our hashbrowns to the German potatoes because who doesn't love Tillamook white cheddar and onion in the mix! The pies looked amazing and the cookies four for a dollar, I couldn't pass up. If you're thinking of trying this place, do it! They also have daily specials. Great service, tasty food and left happy!

Still a 5-star in my opinion. I will start by saying everything tasted good and the portions are more than adequate. I am stuffed. That said this was the "worst" plate I've had. I got French Toast and added a side of 2-eggs and a sausage patty. Eggs were slightly overcooked in that the yolk was starting to solidify on one. The sausage patty was tasty and had good spices without being over the top but it was slightly dry. I got the small size regular French toast made with their whole wheat bread. It was one thick slice cut into four points and had great flavor. The only downside was that only one point had soaked long enough to get that custard-like interior making the other points a bit on the dry chewy side. This is just nit picking but an honest opinion. Friendly service and the overall good food keeps me coming back.

Always a favorite! Went this morning- great service, grest food, great coffee and fresh baked bread. My wife had the cinnamon roll French toast. So good! Love this place, and they are one of the reasons we come to Lincoln City!

I can't visit Lincoln City without dining at Otis Cafe, restaurant with hard working staff that cares about great service & food, the way restaurants, especially the local mom & pop places used to be. So much enthusiasm covering each customer, genuine hospitality & smiles, and tastes that really pop. I love their breakfast but got in around noon so ordered a cheeseburger and wow, homemade bun, fresh ground beef, fresh tomato & lettuce topped off with Tillamook white cheese, it was perfect. They didn't have fries, must not have a fryer, but their German potatoes is something else, hash browns with sweet & green onion topped with Tillamook white cheese that I did not dare cover with my usual ketchup. It was busy, which I'm happy for the establishment that they are doing great business, can be a little too noisy but that is the price to pay for going to a great restaurant, plus I always love taking home a loaf of their sourdough wheat bread & a couple shakers of their own seasoning for my own grilling.

We like to visit the coast and always look for a new spot to eat while we're there. We have heard of the Otis Café, but never got a chance to get there. We he finally got to go this last time to Lincoln city and we definitely need to go back again the next time we go to the coast. We were really hungry so we decided to go for breakfast one morning. I ordered the white cheddar and ham omelette and my husband ordered a quarter order of the German potatoes. I also substituted my hashbrowns for the German potatoes. Best decision ever. Otis café was quite busy, but we were able to get seated in a decent amount of time. Service was friendly and food came out hot. Let me tell you the German potatoes were the best. My husband ordered a quarter size and it almost took up the whole plate. I can't imagine what a full order of that would it look like. Food was wonderful and when we went to check out at the register, I noticed that they have in-house products that they sell. First one I saw was the mustard, and I took a chance and we bought two of them to take home with us. We also bought a loaf of bread that they bake in house and seasoning salt that was on the tables that we tried beforehand and was delicious. When we got home we tried the mustard with some meat sticks that we had and that mustard has to be the best mustard ever. I think I'm gonna have to go back to the coast just to buy that mustard again. Bread was delicious. We used it for sandwiches and toast and the seasoning salt is just so good. It goes on just about everything. It has a different flavor than anything I've ever tried. It must be the all of the herbs that they put in it because it was amazing. So the next time anybody is in Lincoln city I would highly recommend checking out Otis, café food was outstanding.

Boy have I missed the molasses bread! I had no clue they had moved to Lincoln City, but so happy to know where they are now. Suburb customer service, food came out quickly and in abundance. Great spot for breakfast and lunch, go hungry and don't skip the Black Bread!!

We stopped here for the first time this last week. It was a Wednesday morning, not too busy, no wait for seating. There were three of us that ordered- 1 Jose omelet, side of 2 pancakes, Chorizo breakfast plate. The pancakes are big! I love that the omelets are two egg omelets, made with real eggs, not liquid eggs, and comes with real hashbrowns, not dehydrated, and homemade bread. Loved that the hashbrowns were not greasy. Everything we tried was delicious. We'll be back again!

WOW, this is the way a restaurant should be run! Have driven by several times and the parking lot is ALWAYS full and People waiting outside. We came in at 11 AM on a Tuesday, parking lot full and folks waiting outside. Gave them our name and told us 45 min, YIKES!! In less than 15 minutes we were in and in less than 15 min more we had our food... The table were CLEAN, not sticky, fully stocked with salt and pepper, jellies, napkins, silverware and condiments. Jorge, our server was one of the best servers anywhere and extremely attentive to all our wants and needs. We ordered coffee, ice tea, Chicken Fried Steak and with sausage gravy, eggs, hash browns and sour dough toast, Chorizo Scramble and two cinnamon rolls to take home. UPDATE, THE CINNAMON ROLLS WERE OUTSTANDING, very large!!!!!!! Everything came from the kitchen in no time, was hot and delicious. So much food with the Chicken Fried steak (so tender could cut it with a fork) had to take it home in a to go bag. We arrived at the restaurant at 11AM, waited, seated, ordered, ate and left at 12 noon. This is a well run operation, the staff was constantly cleaning, setting up new tables, bringing water coffee etc. NOT ONE EMPLOYEE WAS STANDING AROUND, they were busy little bees. They turn a lot in tables in an hour!!! Rated a 4 because my eggs were over cooked and toast was not toasted very much.

The wait was very long, maybe around 30 to 40 minutes for a party of 4 around 11am. If you want to get a table fast, I'd recommend going earlier. Food was AMAZING. Portions are extremely large (for example, my half order of potato's could've fed like 2 people). Very cute interior, cute decorations. Feels like a local staple. Staff was very friendly!

Dined on 06/20/2026 around noon - Little bit of a wait but well worth it! Excellent servers, Peter knew everything about the menu and was attentive to everyone with professionalism. Food - holy freakin crap - split the breakfast dishes with two people! They are massive! And tasty! Nice clean atmosphere, lots of windows and great natural lighting.

I arrived as a party of 2 around 9:30 on a Tuesday, was seated around 9:45, and got our food around 10:00. So pretty quick service for a busy cafe! The staff is absolutely the sweetest and seemed very enthusiastic. They checked in on us just the perfect amount-- not too frequent or infrequent. They seemed proud of the food and service they provide, which I appreciated. The cafe felt very typical homey diner and I thought it was very unique that they have/sell their own seasoning blend and ceramics. Clean and tidy. German Potatoes 5/5 I ordered a HALF order of German potatoes with an egg and bacon. And oh my goodness, this was so much food. The dish arrived and stayed hot during the entire time I was eating. They really piled on the bacon and cheese and it balanced the potatoes well. I loved adding their seasoning salt to the potatoes! Biscuits and Gravy 5/5 We ordered a full order and originally thought it would only be two biscuits. So imagine our surprised when SIX GIANT fluffy biscuits smothered in gravy came out! I genuinely felt like this one dish could've fed a family. The gravy was thick and full of flavor. The biscuits were fluffy and huge. The total was around $33 which is an absolute steal for basically 4 portions of amazing food. I would love to visit again if I'm ever in town.

Yum! Such a busy little restaurant where every single table was full and the minute one wasn't it was immediately cleaned and filled. We got our food almost immediately and it was super fresh and flavorful. I love that I can get hashbrowns with my burger here although the shape of the hashbrowns was unusual. Overall delicious and worth it!

The building, actually a repurposed house has marvelous bones and the woodland setting out the back is dreamy but the interior decor takes little advantage of this and for this reason pulls down the ambience of the establishment. Don't get me wrong it's spacious, clean, and tidy, it could just use a little more decor that captures the setting and the cottage feel of the building, IMO. Additionally the menu is a bit sparse for such a nice place that does its own baking. I believe they used to offer crêpes. The beverage menu is begging for a proper set of specialty espresso coffee and tea offerings. And yes I would go again.
