I drive here from Snohomish because I LOVE the service SO much! I like the Bliss Signature mani/pedi with the paraffin and all the goodies. Often my husband comes and gets the sports pedi, which he also enjoys. We've had consistently good service and the staff is always so incredibly friendly. This was my first time here. It hasn't even been 2 days and yet I have 3 chipped nails. I had these done before going on a trip and now I am going to have to find someone else to redo them. I would be giving Bliss a 5-star rating, but my pedicurist had to leave mid pedicure and the lady that finished my polish didn't remove the excess red from my skin. I have been getting my nails done for 3 years consistently now and i normally go to TD Nails down the street. I love TD but lately the service has gotten worse and the color selection is limited so I am looking for a new place to go. Bliss seemed to have good reviews so I decided to try it. I will start by saying that the salon is very cute!! And the man who greeted me and set me up was very nice, and the woman who did my pedicure did an awesome job, it was one of the best pedicures I've had. I made a same day appointment for a full set and a pedicure, which was convenient, and the salon wasn't super crowded which was nice. Then I went over to get my full set, I picked out this dark purple with gray undertones and a sparkly silver. I paid $5 more for extra length (Even though I really don't get what people would consider "long" nails) When she asked for the shape, I told her i wanted it to be square but the corners filed down. *I do not want them to go inward like a coffin shape, just don't like the "flare" outwards that square does.* She told me "okay coffin is $5. Which I don't mind paying, but I told her I didn't want it to go in like the coffin shape. She was clearly annoyed with me and said "okay I'll give you square." And so I was just prepared to get the wrong shape. She filed the life out of my nails and cuticles to where I was bleeding in some spots. And then she put the gel on so chunky and uneven. Then when the color came out it was wayyy pink. And I told her it didn't look like the right color and she told me it was and it "changes under the light" and I told her I would rather change it and she clearly didn't want to give me the time to do that, insisting it was the right color, so I just let her do it, just coming to terms with the fact that these nails were not going to come out the way I wanted. Then she painted on the shellac and it was so chunky :( I paid and gave a $5 tip for the lady that did my toes. But I probably won't be back because of the way my full set came out. Ok my feet were something I kept putting off since Covid...they were almost so bad that I was too self conscious to get a pedicure today. My 6 year old kept asking so we decided to give bliss a try. Upon entry, we were greeted by THE SWEETEST WOMAN! She checked our temperature, then gave us a pump of hand sanitizer. She asked if we had appointments (we did not) but she said not a problem and got us in the pedicure chairs immediately. Two super sweet women worked on our feet and my poor nail tech had her work cut out for her but we were still out of there within an hour (I hate when a pedicure takes 2 hours)! My daughter loves her toes and I'm so happy with how my once cringe worthy feet look. We will for sure be back! read more

In particular, my eyebrows get compliments all the time. #1 it is clean #2 the pricing is very fair #3 they offer everything you need here (they are great with waxing, facials and offer every nail related service you expect, including SNS dip polish) #4 they are well staffed and always on schedule, and can almost always fit you in with short notice. #5 they will go out of their way for excellent service. My grandmother was nearly 90 years old and regularly coming in for manis and pedis. I went here yesterday with my girlfriend for a pedicure and was very pleased. The shop is really clean with dividers to keep clients and employees safe. They screened each client on the way in to make sure no one has symptoms which made it a very relaxing experience. The nail techs were so nice and the pedicure was delightful. I had visited bliss nails about five years ago and I thought they were ok. I had made an appointment last week for a new set of nails, and they kept asking about when I was in five years ago, not sure why, anyway the woman was rude the whole time, I chose a black/purple color polish so it was hard to see until I got home , my nails had big blobs, not ground down, one nail it chip off! I had made an appointment for a pedicure, the following week, NEVER offered any kind of spa package, just did the basic pedi, I had gel on the toe's, I asked if I could have the same color on my toe's, as my nails and they said it was no longer available. So when the women that had done my nails originally was fixing my nail she happened to have the color for my hands, just NOT for my toe's! I also asked her if she could fix one of my nail's that had a blob on the tip, she looked at it and threw my hand back at me. Sad, obviously they don't need the business. read more

Really beautiful nail shop however the staff is not that knowledgeable. I myself am a licensed manicurist and I like to go to different nail shops to see how the work is done and what makes them so unique and also to check out their techniques. I made an appointment for a shellac pedicure and shellac manicure. First off, Bliss is only friendly to returning customers. I walked in at the same time with a regular and they barely noticed I was there. I walked in first, and the other lady was right behind me. And she was greeted first and serviced before me. They finally asked me what I would like to do, I told them I made an appointment and they looked down and said, shellac pedicure $50 and shellac manicure and take off is $50, so $100 total ok? Uh...I didn't ask for the price, I had already looked it up on their website. But I'm sure they judged me and thought I was a cheap Asian... Second, I was getting my acrylics removed to get shellac put on afterwards. They told me that the shellac would not stick. I've gotten this done quite a few times already - it has always worked. So while removing my acrylics the lady kept using the grinder/sander to grind out my real nails - this was after the acrylic was already off. She kept going over and over over my real nails and it was so thin it started to hurt. This doesn't require schooling to know that if you go over a persons real nail with a sander that many times its going to ruin their real nail beds. I pulled my hands away and I said that's hurting my nails and she said "oh, it's your real nail?" Uh...yes. What a lot of manicurist do, not just the one's at Bliss is they don't asses peoples nails. Most, people do have flat nail beds, but mine are curvy. So most manicurist will go over the middle part of my nail beds over and over to flatten it out. I also got a pedicure and it was alright nothing too special. The massage felt more like limpy foot rub. Overall, with a nail shop like especially with the price I expected more out of it. I am not one to complain about pricing however even if the service cost more, I would be willing to pay if it actually was worth it. read more

I have been to Bliss 3 times pretty sure I won't be back. During my pedicure Wendy took my nail so low that she drew blood did not apologize just continued on. It might not have a been a huge issue but I am on my feet for hours and it rubs. The girl who did my full set of acrylics shaped them how she wanted even though I told her repeatedly I wanted them round and not square . I also wanted them shorter and she would not do it. She said, you don't want them shorter they are beautiful. They were ridiculously thick too, that request fell on deaf ears as well. Wendy got the shape right but they are still crazy thick. It does make you feel uncomfortable and out of place when they are all speaking a foreign language. I just won't be back. read more

I'm updating my review. I initially gave it 5 stars back in 2014 because Michelle was AMAZING. I thought she was the standard at Bliss, but I realize now that I'm wrong. My original 5 star review was for Michelle. She's gone now. I was booked a manicure with Lily (?). She was terrible. She didn't remove my hangnail after I asked twice. She left a LOT of rough cuticles on every nail... after I asked twice if she could remove it. She also messed up the shape of my nails with her filing. I was scheduled a shellac manicure with her, but I ended up asking her to just buff my nails instead because I just wanted it to end. read more

Came in for a shellac manicure a few weeks ago - was "pre-warned" by whoever the guy is up front that they charge more than the typical salon for shellac for new customers. Perhaps he thought I couldn't afford the $40, like $5-10 would make or break the deal? I was pretty taken aback by that, but since my regular nail place didn't have time to see me and I was in a pinch, I agreed and paid the $40 (rip off). He let me know that for repeat customers, it would be $30. I'm still shocked that the explanation was that it's more expensive for new customers! I came back in a few weeks later, thinking I would now be charged the reduced repeat customer rate. Well, I should have known better than that. I should have asked the price before I got my nails done, but it was someone else at the counter who seemed more trustworthy than the sketchy dude I had originally spoken with. Actually, I should have just gone somewhere else after the treatment I got the first time. Anyways, I got my nails done in total silence from the tech and then went to pay. Figures, the dude was at the counter, ready to charge me $40. I argued with him but eventually paid to get out of there. His argument for the $40 this time? Oh, you requested a MANICURE with your shellac, so that's an extra $10. Wait, what? Since when is the price of a manicure not implicitly present in the cost of shellac nails? Also, what did that have to do with paying $40 as a new customer last time??? I'm not that happy with my nails. I've had far better luck at Q Nails Spa. Will NEVER be back! After I left my review, I received a call from Ty. He was very friendly, apologetic & wanted to make things right. I really appreciated that. I felt a little awkward returning, but was giving Bliss the benefit of the doubt. I chose to get a pedicure & shellac manicure. But when given my manicure, the tech told me that her boss had a talk w/ her & wanted to make sure she treated me extra special, which was very uncomfortable & awkward to hear. I told her that everyone should be treated that way when they come in. I have no issues w/ the shellac manicures I get at Bliss, they always do a good job. The pedicure again was so so. I have been back a few times afterwards w/ a friend who loves Bliss. After this last time...once I had left, I was informed that one of the owners asked why I kept coming back after leaving my previous 3 star review (in front of customers). I find this VERY unprofessional & rude! Obviously they don't care for my business even though I've been back several times, that doesn't seem to matter. Today I went in to to get a full set w/color And the lady in the front desk told me it was going to be $25 and $30 for French tip. As I'm getting my nails Holly asks me how long.. and i get them a little bit longer than usual and she immediately charges me 5$ more because I got them long. like really and then she starts polishing my nails and i see the dark red color i picked changed to a dark purple so i was kind of debating wether or not to change. So she asked me if i still wanted the color and before i said yes she said that it would be 5$ more to change nail polish. Really? And at the end i left with a cut finger. I just had a standard pedicure done at Bliss Nail Spa with Holly, and it was a fantastic experience. I went there after receiving a recommendation from another pregnant friend of mine who said she was treated well and that they are super clean and very friendly. She was right!! At nine months pregnant now, I can't reach my own feet, and frankly, my toenails looked like something that Swamp Thing would be sporting, so clearly, I needed a professional. Not only was Holly very sweet and conversational, but she was very professional about not commenting on my lack of exfoliation! I walked out with a beautiful set of pink tootsies and an enormous feeling of relief and relaxation. I'm thinking once this baby is born and I need to escape the house for a couple hours, I'll go back and hopefully, they'll give me Holly again! I've had my toes done in many places, and although Bliss doesn't LOOK like much from the outside (it's next to a Jiffy Lube on an arterial in South Everett), any anxieties about the place were instantly relieved once I walked through the front door. This is definitely one of the more high-end feel spas/nail salons in the area. It's spacious and fancy looking, so if you're looking to feel more pampered then this is the perfect place for you. But that also means you'll be paying higher prices than other places in the area. I enjoyed the selection of wide range of colors. The woman who did my nails was rough and she cut me a few times. And she kept getting mad at me to relax and set my hand down roughly telling me she can't work unless I relax, but I was as relaxed as can be and never had a problem at other salons. my friend and i purchased a Groupon for this spa. My friend and I had our manicures together in the pedicure chairs. Backing up a little bit - this spa is in a shady location but that doesn't bother me. The inside is nice and doesn't smell like a nail salon which is nice. I got the manicure with the parafin dip which felt really nice, although I had to get up and walk to the other side of the salon to dip in the wax. When i get a relaxing manicure I don't want to wander around the salon. My friend had a pedicure and really enjoyed it. I didn't use my groupon yet, but my friend did. She got a hot stone massage and said it seemed like the massage therapist was new and it wasn't relaxing. I'll review this spot again when I go back and use my groupon. After not having nails for many years, I decided to get them put back on. I got them at a different salon than Bliss and ended up with fungus under them. Fortunately a friend who goes to Bliss introduced me to Vicky at Bliss and I got my nails put back on there after the fungus grew out. What a difference! The price was about the same as the first salon (inexpensive) but the quality is so much better. I can't afford to go to the expensive salons so even though Bliss isn't near where I live it's worth the drive to get good service, quality work, and not have to pay an arm and a leg to do so. I love that she does thinner nails but will make them thicker if you have problems with them breaking. I don't like thick nails so this works great for me. Vicky does beautiful work. But you should probably go someplace else and not take up appointments at Bliss.. you'll just make it harder for my friend and I to get in! read more

Holly went to town of my ingrown toenails. Been 3 weeks and no problems since. I like the time spent on my nails and quality of attention when it came do the massage. I did not feel rushed and Holly took her time. Great service and some good advice to help prevent problems with my nails. My polish still looks great and my nails still look pretty to me. Love Love Love these guys! My first time going into Bliss was a year ago I was 37 weeks pregnant and man I needed a pedicure bad. They were so amazing and treated me so well I treated my aunt and cousin to pedicures when they came up 4 weeks later to help when the baby arrived. Yes you folks at home doing the math I went to 41 weeks ;) Fast forward to a few months ago when I was finally able to get out of the house for more than an hour and ran in to get a pedicure as it had been 8 months. Not only was the service still spectacular but they remembered me!! Not like an O hey your face looks familiar remember, but a Hi! *insert correct name here* I have gone back again since then and will continue to go back. Everyone is very sweet there and will explain any procedure to you (I had asked about shellac a time or two ago) quite thoroughly. Like the other reviewer, I was a little apprehensive at first. The neighborhood didn't scream high end. I was greeted by a very friendly gentleman who was very eager to serve. I didn't wait long for Helen to do my manicure-pedicure. It was very nice, no complaints here. The facilities were way cleaner and nicer than expected. I then had a facial with Linda. Let me tell you, this could have been the best facial I have ever had. I had the one with a light acid peel. I will definately go back in two weeks for the 30 minute touch up. My final thoughts- why go in to Seattle, hassle with parking, and pay way more. It's a bit of a drive for me, I live in the north end. But for the money it was awesome. read more

Two weeks ago, I got my nails done at a place in Mill Creek. They did a horrendous job. I decided to stop in at Bliss today to see what could be done about removing them and getting a manicure after. The polite and professional lady who had the task of removing my acrylic nails was wonderful. She was careful and wanted to make sure I was comfortable. It took over an hour to remove them (they were really thick and horrible). I gave her a nice tip because I felt so bad. After the removal, she did everything she could to improve the quality of my nails. They were left thin and damaged from the acrylics. She gave me a nice manicure, including a hand massage. My nails, though they are damaged and short (NOT her fault, fault of the previous nail salon), look great. I will definitely be returning and recommending Bliss to all my friends. My experience, though it was my first with this salon, was fabulous. I was even wished well, they remembered my name, on the way out. read more

I have been coming here for a few years now and absolutely love it. Ty is always personable and sweet to both me and my mom. The staff has always been so nice to us. They really go out of their way to have a conversation with you, they remember you, and seem to really care about their end product. As for colors and product, fantastic.
