DEFINITELY my new go-to nail spot!!! I did a walk in on a Sunday and didn't wait too long (10 minutes). I was greeted with a warm welcome and was seated down once they were finishing up with another customer; there were only three workers today. I had gel nails prior and they cleaned it up very well. I wish I had gotten their names but it was a man and a woman. The woman took my gel polish off along with filing and cutting them down to my liking. She made sure that my nails were even and that the length of the nails were to my liking! The man took over as she was helping her coworker out with another customer. He finished my nails off by buffing them out, cutting down my cuticles, painting them, and massaged my hands. I'm honestly a critic when it comes to massages at nail salons because they usually just slap on lotion and rub it in, but he did an amaaaaazing job massaging my hands and arms! I could've fallen asleep right then and there!! He used a hot towel to wipe off the excess oil from the lotion from my nails and hands. The price was exceptional; $28 for a gel manicure! Tam and Jenny sold their business so new owners now. They don't sterilize the equipment anymore!! So the instruments are being reused on multiple clients, including callus scrubbers. Nail color looked chunky and unfortunately were chipped the next day. I also had to insist on more layers of gel for my gel mani-- one layer doesn't cut it. Literally the worst customer service ever ! My mom and I wanted to get pedicures on a Friday we walk in to this "highly reviewed " establishment and these people are extremely rude . They're were only two *people working and three clients already seated on pedicure seats for one woman employee to work on.. the other employee was a man doing a full set . I tried this place for the 1st time bcuz I saw a post on fb saying it's great for pedicures. Big fat NOPE! They're dishonest and my pedicure was horrible. I chose the $35 option and when I went to pay, I was told it was $50! I asked how much it was for gel polish and she said $15...it's usually $5. When I said I didn't want it, she told me then it will be $5-$8 to take off my old gel polish but charged me $15. She didn't polish my nails down to the cuticles & cut them crooked. I needed a fill BAD but just didn't have time to get my nails done during the weekend at my usual place so I needed to find something near by my office so I could jet out and get em done. Of course I open up Yelp first to see what's around and what's recommended. Blink Blink Nails came up and off I went. Located in a older strip center with plenty of parking. The shop itself isn't fancy or high end. But it's clean and the staff are super friendly. I walked inside and they were able to get me right in. MAI was my manicurist and she was so so so nice. She asked me a lot of questions about my nails and how I liked them which I really do appreciate. I'm pretty boring and generally just get a two tone gel fill. MAI was quick, skilled and sweet. Quick being the key for me because getting my nails done is not something I enjoy. Or should I say sitting still is not something I do well. Anyway, MAI have me in and out in under and hour and the price was reasonable too ($30). I'm looking forward to returning for a pedi next! read more

I like this place, mainly because it's hard to come by a nail salon that doesn't work like an assembly line these days. No matter how busy this place can be, when it's your turn, it's your turn. Which I can really appreciate given that I only get time for a mani pedi about once a month and want the most relaxing experience and for it to last. This place does just that. Attentive to detail and great color selection. They have multiple pedicure options and I am beyond pleased with the alll of them. At some places it feels like if you chose the basic they just write you off and do a shitty job to get you in and out. I've received almost every pedicure here (from basic to deluxe) depending on the tome I have and everyone else is well executed and they nail tech takes her time. The signature pedicure (40$) is RELAXING and takes about an hour and 15 mins as it SHOULD. Nothings worse than going to a place, paying 40 dollars and being in and out in 35 mins. I came here for my nails two weeks ago and i was IMPRESSED. I spent a good amount of time searching and reading reviews to find the best nail salon and THIS IS IT!!! I walked in with no appointment and the receptionist lady who is also the new owner of the salon greeted me with the friendliest welcome. I waited for 30' but it didnt seem that long because she was showing me colors and designs....she kept me company the whole entire wait time. (Yes! I love this place for that.) The salon itself is very clean and bright. It gives the relaxing vibe with the nice music in the background. Overall I felt relaxed and stress-free for the time i was there. My nail lady was so nice. She was gently and easy on my nails which i appreciate very much. I have sensitive skin and most of the time the manicurist can easily makes it bleeds. She files my nails and did the exactly what i asked for. My nails turned out SO FINE!! I love this place. Let me start by saying that I am very picky person when it comes to my nails and eyebrows (especially my eyebrows) and I have gone to my fair share of salons and been let down by most of them. I've only been here once, but I did really like my experience and have just made my 2nd appointment. I am very much looking forward to it. Their utensils are sanitary, they clean them and package them right in front of you (love that) and there is a wonderful kids play area (love that too because I usually always have my 5 year old in tow). There was a tiny little hiccup with my eyebrow BUT I talked to her and she fixed it (happily not snarky like others I've had) but it goes back to they listen and for that I am grateful. The parking lot kinda sucks, almost got hit twice trying to get out of there but that didn't affect my rating (its not their fault) just a warning to other potential customers. read more

I LOVE Blink Blink nails! I love the girls who work here, they are so sweet and will talk to you and ask how your day was. I've been to both Mai and Fong (probably spelled those wrong) but they are both great at what they do. Today I had Mai and she kept asking if I liked how they were turning out, and spent a good amount of time blending the edges and checking if they were even.. which is nice because usually I'll have to tell them before they notice it. They don't try to push you to add designs or diamonds either and their prices are fair, never any surprise additional charges. The salon isn't high end and isn't in the best part of town, but it's very clean and nice inside, and the girls plus the great work they do definitely outshines anything negative. Moved to Gilroy and was looking for a new nail salon so I wouldn't have to drive to San Jose. Based on ratings and reviews, I decided to give this place a try. I called for an appt and they were able to take me within the hour! The place is clean and there's ample parking. There was only one other customer inside (on a Wednesday morning) but more walked in towards the end of my appt. They started with my pedicure which was done by Mimi. She was great! So sweet and took her time (about 45 min). Mai did my mani-shellac French tip. She was quick! It must have taken her 20-25 minutes total. Not very talkative, but nice nonetheless. She only put a single top layer of the gel on top and I'm used to having two. When I asked if she was going to do a second layer, she said no. With the single layer, I didn't know how long the shellac would last. Well-it only lasted 10 days (see pictures) before it started to peel off and began chipping within a week. Not sure if I'll be going back. Note: they don't honor the 10% yelp check in-only 5%. Mai said the manager doesn't know how to get it taken off Yelp/get it changed to 5%. read more

So I went to blink blink last night mainly because I saw the reviews on Yelp. I usually go to another spot but I decided to give blink blink nails a try. I'm really disappointed because I paid a total of 120 (with 11 dollar tip for both the Nail tech and the girl who did my feet) before they even finished my nails and feet. I don't know if the girl who did my pedicure was learning but she needed help and I also paid for 45 dollar pedicure and 15 extra for gel polish and I didn't get the paraffin or the stuff that makes the heels of my feet less rough. As far as my nails they're OK however today (aka the next day ) my gel nail polish started to peel off on my thumb nail. I'm really bummed because they were really nice. read more
