A woman with dark hair, sunglasses, and a black t-shirt that reads 'I ❤️ COWBOY' poses on a stage holding an acoustic guitar. She is wearing shorts and cowboy boots, with a drum set visible behind her. The stage is lit with purple and pink lighting, and string lights are hanging above, creating a concert atmosphere.

The night I went to Blind Pig was just what I needed to experience 6th street! The rooftop deck with amazing views of the Austin skyline is perfection. The deck has a huge TV upstairs and arcade games. Even though it was a Monday night, it was lively! They had a band playing and their energy was captivating. This place is a must when you're in town!

The downstairs bar/pub - A person wearing a red jacket and cap is seated on a stool, playing an acoustic guitar and singing into a microphone on a small stage at Blind Pig Pub in Austin, TX. The stage is set against a brick wall with a painted logo of a pig and the pub's name. The pub interior features exposed brick, wooden furniture, and ambient lighting, with a few patrons visible near the bar area.

Decent bar with a good pub atmosphere downstairs. (Except for the large screen TV's). Upstairs is a larger patio area and one or the other usually has some kind of musical entertainment. On the downside they sell the beer in plastic cups which doesn't bode well for how it is on a rowdy night. The part cozy pub, part sports bar didn't really do it for me but it's well worth a look if you are on 6th street.

Just ok. First bartender was awful and basically ignored us. The place was empty.. However her replacement was personable and took care of us.

A Jack Daniel's whiskey sign is affixed to a dark wooden ceiling, featuring branding and product information. Two Tito's Handmade Vodka signs are positioned on either side of the Jack Daniel's sign. The ceiling includes visible pipes and a light bulb, indicating an indoor bar setting.

Quintessentially Austin / open to 6th street, good beer, good prices , rooftop bar ( if you can stand the Texas heat - right now too hot for me ) and good service ! Enjoying an IPA on 6th street

Great music! Upstsirs is open air (hot) but such fun! Great loud plsce with good drinks!

My drank *double gin and tonic* - A tall, clear glass holds a gin and tonic with ice cubes, garnished with a lime wedge on the rim. The drink is on a wooden table, and a black straw is inserted into the glass. The background includes a person wearing a red shirt and a wooden surface.

Most folks know about The Blind Pig Pub as this has been a landmark on the infamous 6th Street in Austin, Texas for over 15 years. I came here a few weeks back with some work peeps while waiting for out table to be ready across the street. We came in on a Monday night so there was not a crowd, and we were easily able to get our drinks and hear ourselves while listening to the live musician. We stayed downstairs but didn't venture to the upstairs patio as it was sweltering out. The bartender was courteous, prompt and mean (in a good way) with a shaker. We stayed and enjoyed our beverages for about 40 minutes. This was definitely a great spot for pre-dinner drinks. Fun fact: There's a photobooth inside and yah bes believe my colleagues and I used it! #supportlocal

Live Music on the Roof Top - A nighttime scene shows a live band performing on an outdoor rooftop stage with string lights overhead. The band includes a guitarist, a drummer, and a vocalist, with musical equipment and speakers visible. The stage is partially covered with a wooden ceiling, and city buildings with lit windows are seen in the background, indicating an urban setting.

What a wonderful way to finish a visit in Austin, TX!!!! The Blind Pig Pub had live music on the roof top on a Tuesday evening. It was a great blend of country, rock, modern, and classics. The band was Chris Gates and the Black Hats. They were fabulous!!!!! We really enjoyed the atmosphere, the music, the drinks and being on the roof top.

What a cool place! We came here and went upstairs to get drinks, They serve High Noons which was a big plus for them on my end! They have a great view on the second floor and a live band was playing when we arrived. We were able to be served right away and got our drinks immediately! The bartender was great and k ew a lot! They even gave us some fun facts about the place! Enjoy!

Great live music in Austin!

Best SXSW place. Always an enjoyable time. Will take the train here but not as often as we like. Rooftop is the place to be.

Looking for a place to watch March Madness and it felt like a humid day packed like sardines in a Boston T car when we walked in and out of Lavaca. We were quite enlightened to walk into The Pub, right around the corner, welcoming us to a cool and dim space with tiled floor, trimmed walls, and embellishments of faux trees. The space wasn't overly packed and a good amount of TVs to feel supported by at least three different sporting events. Even a TV in the men's room (not women's). Service was great! Regular table sweeps. Eric at the bar was very kind and accommodating. What to order? You're in an Irish Sports Bar. A Guinness is a must. The heads were perfect. Pastrami sandwich. You won't be disappointed. And the Burger was actually pretty good too, and unique with touches of arugula and mixed brisket and ground beef meat. Of course, it's always a fun touch to have some special sauce offered. The only thing I noticed that seemed unusual was, not only an automatic tip applied but also, a credit card processing fee added to the bill. Felt a little odd and out of place. Of course, I'm not sure if this is applied with regular service, as we ordered directly from the bar (despite sitting at a high top nearby). Another observation: a lot of people ordered wine and even espresso martinis here. Either they know something I don't, or this place calls to a variety of people. Cheers!

I got the Bangers and Mash and I wouldn't get it again. While the mashed potatoes were nice and creamy, the two sausage was not very tender and a bad texture. Ticked away in a little complex without 79 visibility along with a couple of other places that don't seem to get much traffic either. Finally made our first visit so we could try "the best fish & chips" in the Austin area. I was surprised how big it was, they have a patio, a bar area and lots of tables I was shocked as from the outside it looks tiny. Service was fantastic which was shocking with them closing soon. The service was enough to want me to go back hopefully for us in this area they end up somewhere close by as I know how hard it is to find good workers. Pretzels were good! Onion rings were our favorite! Their version of the Philly was just okay, was very plain with not much flavor hubby didn't even finish half. But the star of the show was the fish and chips. My son was over the moon! Couldn't even finish half of it and he wanted to haha. Sad to see they will be closing their doors but hopefully the owner has something else up his sleeve as they were onto something with this place.

I ordered the fish and chips. The piece of fish was enormous! It was cooked well, if a little too much breading for my taste. The chips were really good. The tartar sauce was different than I am used to, a little runny and pink tinged, but it was good. The mushy peas were yummy and added an authenticity to the dish. I didn't really use the curry sauce that also came with the dish. To me it doesn't go with fish or chips. I did taste it, and the flavor was great.
