$4.50 fried pickles. As provided to me without any eaten.

I ordered online for pick up. This is a food truck currently located in an auto repair/gas station parking lot. The location and placement has a strange vibe. The food truck is oddly facing away from the parking lot, so you have to walk around and step down off a curb. This would not be accessible to anyone differently abled or who uses a wheel chair. I tried the grilled cheese at a medium heat level. Also, fried pickles. For $4.50, I received 8 individual pickle slices. The photo I posted is without any eaten or removed. I did decide to test them out, so I didn't return them and ask for a refund. Although, in hind sight that would have been smarter. The pickles were not very crispy but were instead very oily with oil in the bottom of the paper tray. 0/5 for the pickles. If you are going to serve them like this, might as well remove them from the menu. The grilled cheese was very yummy. The toast was crispy, gooey cheese, and I ordered the medium level of spice for the chicken. I'm not sure if it was a sauce or what was on the chicken, but it didn't taste like Nashville hot chicken. Instead, it had more of a smokey sweet BBQ flavor. I'm not sure if that was the "coop sauce" that came on the sandwich or a part of the chicken seasoning. I tried to investigate, but couldn't find ingredients of the sauce anywhere on the website or nutritional facts. The chicken wasn't at all spicy. I would have considered it mild, not medium. If you like it spicy, start with the hot or higher level of spice. 4/5 for the grilled cheese.

I LOVE Nashville hot chicken. When I saw they had a food truck near my work, I had to try it. They're located in the shared parking lot of the Shell gas station and North Side Auto. I ordered the 2-piece tender basket. When I picked it up, I could smell the deliciousness through the bag! I did medium spice level to test it out before getting too wild. The flavor was out of this world. Not sure what spices/rub they use, but I'm hooked! The sauce was also delicious and I even dipped my fries in it. Lost one star because the chicken isn't as crispy as I expect for being "fried chicken", but the flavor compensated for that a lot.

This was a perfect Sunday afternoon stop. I'm from the south so I wasn't sure this chicken would live up to my expectations and it did!!! Chicken was flavorful and juicy, everything was fresh and hot, and the portions are huge. I love that you can customize your spice level. We got one mild and one hot to compare and they were both perfect. Hot is properly hot. Mild has some kick but not too much. The loaded fries are a must. So good. We will definitely be back. Only thing we needed more of was napkins because it's messy.

I have been driving past this place for many days and finally made it for lunch. Located right off Huron parkway parked at shell gas station across from Whole Foods. Their chicken sandwich is not cheap at $11.99, however it is restaurant quality. For comparison Hopcat Nashville chicken sandwich was $13.5 and, I thought this chicken sandwich was significantly better. Their take on the Nashville chicken sandwich is different from what I have had as theirs has much more spice, and I am talking spices not heat. You can order the heat level to your liking have 5 levels of heat to choose from. The spice they use in their chicken batter taste like old bay to me, I ordered medium and enjoyed the sandwich. It is served with cole slaw, pickles, and their coop sauce. Everything was great, but I could have used more coop sauce. They give you a packet of honey, I am glad they leave that up to you prefer my sandwich more savory than sweet. I tried to order online but would not allow me, had to order in person, which took about 12 minutes there a couple of spaces to park your car at shell as you wait. I really hope they improve their online ordering other than that a solid spot for Nashville chicken sandwich.

The food was great!! We got medium spice level and it was perfect! The chicken was fresh and juicy but not too crunchy. The sauce was a standard canes, Dave's hot kinda sauce but very good! The service was fast! The staff was kind, friendly, and patient. There was seating which is perfect for sitting down with family's! I highly recommend!!

The rice with the scallops was terrible. The duck breasts were chewy with lots of gristle, which made them barely edible. The cooks on each breast were different; one was medium rare and the other was medium. The "sauce" for the duck was a mess; it was watery and lacked flavor. The "vegetable" side was just boiled Brussels sprouts and carrots, which also had no flavor and a weird texture. The potato-turnip "purée" wasn't puréed, and also had an unpleasant texture and flavor. For the price, you're better off going to the Chop House, where you actually get food worth the price and fun to eat. Don't waste your money at The Earle. There are better options at a similar price point nearby.

Between the two of us we had the beet salad, burger and steak tartare. Burger was good, but not the best smash burger that I've had. Beet salad was fine, however the cream cheese was a bit overpowering against the orange oil. It was dying for some citrus. Steak tartare was a bit dry, meaning that a small dab of olive oil would have added to the richness and overall mouth feel. I did not really taste the egg although I did see a dab of yolk on the tartare. Needed a bit of salt also to enhance the taste Menu was small, but it did cover a cross section of French bistro dishes. All in all, I thought it was a bit overpriced. So I will have to consider returning for a full meal. I would come back for a burger and beer at the bar.

After 10 minutes the couple ahead of us checked in to find out there were no available tables. They had just seated a couple with no reservation who was in front of them. My sister and I cancled the reservation and sat at the bar which was empty. I got a special drink which was a honey lavender latte. There was no lavender flavor to it. It was not worth the $8. My sister had an ice caramel latte with almond milk and that bad boy was over $9 and she said chains have better lattes! On to the food. I ordered brussel sprouts that were supposed to be fried. I asked them to come out before our main dishes. 20 minutes later they come out and they are barely pan seared and had no flavor. People who came in after us and ordered food started getting their dishes. Finally after being there for 45 minutes I asked about our food and I was told that our ticket went in after others because of the appetizer and the kitchen staff not being competent enough to understand how to order up the food. He also mentioned that the kitchen was really small. If that's the case, then don't cram so many tables in such a small place. Fewer tables means fewer orders which means more efficient food production. My waffles were good, but for $18?!? No. And the babka French toast my sister got was defenitely not worth the $21. I'll never go back.
