$4.50 fried pickles. As provided to me without any eaten.

I ordered online for pick up. This is a food truck currently located in an auto repair/gas station parking lot. The location and placement has a strange vibe. The food truck is oddly facing away from the parking lot, so you have to walk around and step down off a curb. This would not be accessible to anyone differently abled or who uses a wheel chair. I tried the grilled cheese at a medium heat level. Also, fried pickles. For $4.50, I received 8 individual pickle slices. The photo I posted is without any eaten or removed. I did decide to test them out, so I didn't return them and ask for a refund. Although, in hind sight that would have been smarter. The pickles were not very crispy but were instead very oily with oil in the bottom of the paper tray. 0/5 for the pickles. If you are going to serve them like this, might as well remove them from the menu. The grilled cheese was very yummy. The toast was crispy, gooey cheese, and I ordered the medium level of spice for the chicken. I'm not sure if it was a sauce or what was on the chicken, but it didn't taste like Nashville hot chicken. Instead, it had more of a smokey sweet BBQ flavor. I'm not sure if that was the "coop sauce" that came on the sandwich or a part of the chicken seasoning. I tried to investigate, but couldn't find ingredients of the sauce anywhere on the website or nutritional facts. The chicken wasn't at all spicy. I would have considered it mild, not medium. If you like it spicy, start with the hot or higher level of spice. 4/5 for the grilled cheese.

I LOVE Nashville hot chicken. When I saw they had a food truck near my work, I had to try it. They're located in the shared parking lot of the Shell gas station and North Side Auto. I ordered the 2-piece tender basket. When I picked it up, I could smell the deliciousness through the bag! I did medium spice level to test it out before getting too wild. The flavor was out of this world. Not sure what spices/rub they use, but I'm hooked! The sauce was also delicious and I even dipped my fries in it. Lost one star because the chicken isn't as crispy as I expect for being "fried chicken", but the flavor compensated for that a lot.

This was a perfect Sunday afternoon stop. I'm from the south so I wasn't sure this chicken would live up to my expectations and it did!!! Chicken was flavorful and juicy, everything was fresh and hot, and the portions are huge. I love that you can customize your spice level. We got one mild and one hot to compare and they were both perfect. Hot is properly hot. Mild has some kick but not too much. The loaded fries are a must. So good. We will definitely be back. Only thing we needed more of was napkins because it's messy.

I have been driving past this place for many days and finally made it for lunch. Located right off Huron parkway parked at shell gas station across from Whole Foods. Their chicken sandwich is not cheap at $11.99, however it is restaurant quality. For comparison Hopcat Nashville chicken sandwich was $13.5 and, I thought this chicken sandwich was significantly better. Their take on the Nashville chicken sandwich is different from what I have had as theirs has much more spice, and I am talking spices not heat. You can order the heat level to your liking have 5 levels of heat to choose from. The spice they use in their chicken batter taste like old bay to me, I ordered medium and enjoyed the sandwich. It is served with cole slaw, pickles, and their coop sauce. Everything was great, but I could have used more coop sauce. They give you a packet of honey, I am glad they leave that up to you prefer my sandwich more savory than sweet. I tried to order online but would not allow me, had to order in person, which took about 12 minutes there a couple of spaces to park your car at shell as you wait. I really hope they improve their online ordering other than that a solid spot for Nashville chicken sandwich.

The food was great!! We got medium spice level and it was perfect! The chicken was fresh and juicy but not too crunchy. The sauce was a standard canes, Dave's hot kinda sauce but very good! The service was fast! The staff was kind, friendly, and patient. There was seating which is perfect for sitting down with family's! I highly recommend!!

The server rightfully warned about the spice LEVEL. Dare you to order spicy level. Medium was super good and tasty but as expected, it was spicy but perfect with the potato chips. The menu changes and sometimes they're crawfish/low country boil focused only but I tried a pretty small but might menu of: *Ichabob Flats (MA) + Pickering Point (WA) raw oysters (6/$21) - I usually only like smaller west coast oysters but the Ichabob flats were actually really good. It helps that they tasted really fresh! *Juicy Butt OG Char Grilled Oysters (6/$24) - The bit of sweet & savory on this with the toasted breadcrumbs were a textural and flavor delight! *Pimento Cheese Stuff'd Cherrystone Clams (3/$12) - I' apparently have not had a cherrystone clam before because they're MASSIVE. The pimento was really delicious and all in al pretty decadent. *Halibut & Quick Pickled Fruit Ceviche ($25) - again super tasty and fresh. relatively small portion BUT i could forgive because the tortilla chips it was served with and the pickled fruit (peach this time) were FIRE. These are prettttyyy premium but probably the best we're going to get in AA!! The bao buns were very soft and loaded with flavor. I had the spicy pork and I wouldn't consider it spicy but it was bursting with umami. If we were to come back while visiting family we would probably get two orders of the loaded fries. The fries were super crisp and had a giant portion of short ribs, green sauce, and cilantro with radishes. The green sauce is a very unique combo of flavors but isn't spicy. The only downside today was they were out of drinks but were able to go inside York and get some water. Regardless the service was super quick and we hope to be back while visiting.

BF and I got the chicken avocado on challah bread and a new crunchy pickle. Zingerman's does a good job with their pickles! Skins were a little too hard but I love that they're not overly pickled and still crunchy and not too much other seasoning. For $21, the sandwich was not very big and they don't include chips or fries. If I lived closer, heck yes I would come here pretty often to try a sample and buy a very expensive baked good. I appreciated the very friendly and knowledgeable staff. It was giving Trader Joe's employee energy! Parking was a little tricky but not impossible. We came with locals so they knew what was up.
