My friend and I came on a cold rainy day with empty stomachs. I heard about this place through a friend and decided to give it a try. LOVE the idea that I can create my own pizza with all the toppings I want for just $7.45. THE RED SPICY SAUCE WAS SOOO YUMMY! It gave it a nice kick. The best assembly line pizza joint I've ever been to! They offered lots of toppings and the service was very friendly and welcoming. It didn't take long for the pizza to bake all the way at all. It definitely felt like they did the name justice. This definitely beats MOD Pizza in Seattle and I think pretty highly of that place too. My main issue is that ordering on the app sucks: and I say that because you can only add a fountain drink if you purchase a particular meal that comes with a fountain drink. Other than that, it's not available on it's own on the app which is weird. Most businesses in the same fast-casual bracket have worked out the kinks on their app - come on, Blaze! You also can't add any extra sauces like ranch or others. Excellent Pi Day at this location today!! The customer service was on point. The lines moved fast and efficient. The staff gave out courtesy water and soft drinks to everyone waiting in line. The only thing I would like to see improve is better monitoring the people cutting in line. The group in front of me, had a few coworkers join them in line as they reached the front. Maybe they can have a sign that says "there are no saving spots and your entire party must be present". Great concept! Walked in on a Tuesday afternoon and there was only a short line. I ordered the BBQ chicken pizza with a blood orange lemonade and my friend ordered the Green Stripe. The lemonade was good; tasted more orange-y than lemon-y but I'm not complaining. Our pizzas were done in no more than 5 minutes and they both looked scrumptious! The crust was nice and crunchy and the toppings on both our pizzas were very tasty. The only thing was that I didn't realize the BBQ chicken pizza had gorgonzola cheese. Its resemblance to bleu cheese is striking and I'm not too fond of the taste of that on my pizza. I will go without it the next time that I go. This was my first time here trying this location. I've been to the Irvine Blaze Pizza a lot in college. This location gets packed and super busy at peak times. The line was out the door on a Friday night, but the line moves fast and we were actually able to find seating. In my opinion, the Irvine location is cleaner and tastes better. There are plenty of toppings to choose from, but I didn't remember ordering pineapple on my pizza! Their toppings get dropped in other toppings because they are in such a rush making the pizzas. There were bits of other toppings in each topping container, which is pretty dangerous if you are allergic to any of the toppings! I got the Green Stripe and added on extra toppings because they charge the same price anyways. If you want to try a new cheese, try Gorgonzola! ***ATTENTION ARUGULA LOVERS: If you want arugula you have to tell them after your pizza is out of the oven. The crust on my pizza was burnt and it took a while to remove the burnt edges. I'm not consuming those carcinogens! They cut the pizza really fast and pretty carelessly so all your slices will be uneven. I could eat a little more than half of my pizza and my boyfriend ate the rest. There was a busboy going around clearing tables and offering Parmesan cheese and crushed red peppers. Pretty friendly but he kept wanting to take away the Parmesan cheese and crushed red peppers afterwards. Guess they don't have a large supply of the shakers. We decided to order it ahead online and it gives you about 40 mins to come pick it up. Once you get there, you can just go straight to the register and check in. Waited about 10 mins or less for it to be done. Food 5/5: They have a variety of sauces, cheese, meats, and veggies to choose from. The crust is thin crust and gets a little crispy. I usually get the spicy red sauce, it's not overly spicy and you just taste a hint of it. Service 5/5: While sitting at our table, the workers who are walking around came and ask if we needed anything and provided us with Parmesan cheese and crushed red pepper and also cleared our things when we were done. The knots of course came out fairly quickly because it doesn't take hardly any time for small bits of dough to get hot. First, this is basically a build your own pizza fast food place. They have one size (medium), one crust (thin), and about 40 items to choose from as toppings. Plain cheese and sauce costs five bucks. The same with 1 meat topping costs $6. If you want to go crazy and put any more toppings on it (you can pick all of them if you like for the same price), that is $7.00. What a deal. Some fo their toppings are pretty high end... like Buffalo Mozzarella (the wet white soft ball that floats in the milky water), Feta, fresh chunks of Blue Cheese, sausage, meatballs, arugula (rocket), artichoke hearts, and dozens more. But if you pile your pizza too high the items won't cook. That is why I do not get the green peppers. They come out so raw that it spoils the pizza. Two rounds of drinks (beer or wine) can set you back as much as the Za, But iced tea and soda is cheap. This is a really great place for what it is. And its always crowded. read more

You choose your sauce. I got the Spicy Red Sauce, which is very mild. Don't worry, it won't kill you. If you need extra spice, there are red pepper flakes and hot sauce. Unlike Chipotle, there aren't a lot of choices in hot sauce, though. You choose your cheese, or cheeses. They are the same price so go wild. I got mozzarella and Gorgonzola. Choose your meats. I tried the crumpled meatball. It was okay. Choose your veggies. I love how they have whole and chopped garlic. Artichokes. Go wild. Be aware that the oven is super hot, so the veggies may burn. Unlike Pizza Hut, which puts the cheese over the toppings to prevent over cooking, this place puts the cheese under, so the leafier ones may burn. You can add seasonings like sea salt and oregano. Wait 180 seconds (2 mins.) for your pizza to cook. Grab some S'mores or some Blood Orange Lemonade. (I mixed mine with Sprite to make it a little less tarty.) Enjoy. If you have left overs, they have handy boxes to store your extra slices. It is almost like Pieology. I haven't had the red sauce there, so I cannot compare. The dessert and drink options differ.
