This spot is the absolute blaze pizza experience I've ever had. All the employees looked on edge. We saw that they were out of salads when we arrived and asked if there would be any more & was rudely responded to "well if we make them". There was a homeless person who was occupying the soda fountain that was allowed to disrupt business. The wait was extremely long & the staff literally took 6 minutes to figure out how to construct the cup holder while we waited with our food and water. Plenty of pizzerias around. Avoid this location. read more

First time at this Blaze Pizza location. The pizza was really good and the staff was friendly and welcoming. However, the cleanliness was disappointing -- especially the bathrooms. I've noticed this seems to be a pattern at multiple Blaze locations, not just this one. It doesn't feel like a staff issue, more like a management or corporate standards issue. If cleanliness improved, this place would easily be a go-to because the food is solid. read more

We waited in line about 30 minutes, lots of preordered tickets ahead of us and about 6 others in front of us. The place was under staffed with just 2 employees its easy to see why we had to wait. The young lady that started our order was holding it together well. As a restaurant guy I would dream of staffing my place with 100 ladies just like her. The guy working the oven side was also terrific and if he isn't the manager he should be. Not only was this guy good at his job, but he is remarkable Under pressure. The make table was a complete mess but have to lay blame on management for poor staffing. As for the pizza, it was delicious and cooked to perfection. read more

The staff can't even acknowledge you when you walk in the door. They're running around in circles, and they look literally like 3 stooges comedy show except its not funny. After 20min of waiting in line, i finally got acknowledged, but I was sick to my stomach at that point and couldn't even eat there after watching the staff constantly ditch their coworkers and go into the back for unknown amounts of time.No communication between the staff and at the end, I just left because I couldn't imagine eating food from a bunch of people who dont care about anything. I requested 2 gluten-free large pizza pie & while eating the pizza I realized this is not gluten-free so it just the topping I went to look at my receipt. It cost us $58 for two pies and they said oh I'm sorry but we don't make the large pie in gluten-free and all they said was oh well I mean that's a very poor customer service I would never go back.!!!!! read more

stopped by this blaze in downtown palm springs for lunch. the BYO pizza tasted great like they always do. but the guy serving us our pizzas and adding the ingredients at the end was a little odd and rude and didn't really communicate with us. there was also a wooden pick that my friend found in her pizza which would be extra dangerous if a child was eating it. never experienced that at a blaze before. read more

This was the worst blaze pizza ever I mean ever first when we ordered a pizza the girl didn't even know how to put the toppings on on the pizza. She piled them in one spot then when we tried to find a place to sit, everything was dirty that no one cleans it. We finally found a place that we could sit down and move all the trash out of the way. there was so much trash in this place then I decided to go to the bathroom and in the bathroom was a homeless person taking a shower in the sink trying to talk to me. Then we sat for a long time wondering when our pizza we done finally I said you better go check. Our pizza was sitting up there and now it was cold because no one ever called our name out. Let me say this again. This is the worst blaze pizza we've ever been to. They need to hire people to clean up mind you the pizza place was full of employees, but nobody was cleaning. Everyone was just standing around. You definitely need to do something to this pizza place. We won't be coming here again anytime soon. The pizza was OK, but that's it just OK. I have never ever posted a 1 star or suggested for people to AVOID A RESTAURANT but I am today . Food: Had flies in it. Service: Horrible, Disinterested Ambiance: None Our food had a fly in it we requested a refund. Then were questioned about why we ate some of it . (Genius Employee) We politely said we didn't search the food for flies before beginning to eat it. Apparently per the manager, ownership doesn't pay for a store phone so he needed his cell phone to refund me. OK. Then he cannot find his cell phone and accuses myself and wife of moving it or taking it. WOW. Honestly there is to many negatives to list, Just don't go. Worst experience with my family. We went there out of necessity and I would have rather starved. The pick your topping selection looked unappetizing, and the pre made crust stacked up in the pizza pans, was so unconventional and unusual for a pizza shop. Absolutely not the fault of the two employees that were at the front. There was a bit of a rush going on, and as a result of the lack of an extra employee helping the bottom of my pizza was burned. The sauce on the toppings on the pizza were delicious. But unfortunately, as a whole the pizza was not edible. What a shame!! The store was not close to where I live so I made an extra trip and likely I will not do that again. read more

Negative stars if I could. We walked out! Came in around 8:45PM, it says they close at 10PM but everyone was already cleaning and not wanting to take orders. We asked the chick in the back if they were still open to take our order and she says "yes, go get it over there" and the other guys ignore customers in line and continue to sweep. **** I witnessed this guy sweeping, stop to make a salad to go for someone, then begrudgingly dug his hand in the cheese bin to add more parm to the salad without changing gloves and went right back to sweeping with the same gloves!!!! read more

Stopped in for dinner while visiting Palm Springs and walked right out--this Blaze Pizza was absolutely filthy. I understand that busy restaurants can get messy, but this was on another level. Every table was dirty, the trash cans were overflowing, and there was food all over the floors. It was clear that no one was making any effort to clean up. What really shocked me was the area behind the counter. There was food everywhere on the floor, and it looked completely unsanitary. If the visible part of the kitchen was that bad, I can only imagine what it looked like where customers couldn't see. It was beyond unappetizing and honestly concerning from a health standpoint. I get that rushes happen, but cleanliness should still be a priority. This place was so neglected that it felt like it should be reported to health inspectors. Needless to say, I didn't stay to eat and wouldn't recommend this location to anyone. read more

Was wandering around downtown Palm Springs on a Friday waiting to check into my hotel and extremely famished....i also wanted to fill up my stomach for less than $10. What i usually do is get a slice or a few tacos, so i saw blaze and walked in. It's a pretty cool concept, nothing fancy mind you - basically make your own pie with basic ingredients. I got a half pizza for 8 bucks, pep, salami and olives. Was really good honestly, just what a traveler would need for a quick stop meal under 10 bucks. Nice staff too. read more

During a weekend trip to PS, and on a Saturday night only handful of restaurants are opened after 7PM, and Blaze Pizza being one of them on the downtown strip. Although, I am a fan of Blaze Pizza, this location is meh when it comes to service. The pizza is good once the food is baked. There were 4 people working, despite the place known for being crowded, the limited staff impeded the service delivery of what amounted to a mediocre customer service. The guest, including me, would stand in the line ordering the pizza for nearly 15 minutes due to them leaving to take a phone call for an call-in orders. What happened to on-line ordering? The music in the restaurant is also too loud making it hard for staff to call out or people's to her names (when pizza are ready), and at some point the staff stopped, so encouraged a crowd of customers to walk up and find their own pizza on the countertop. The irony a lot of tourists, including me, made the best of the situation, due to the limited restaurants and the only few places opened the Thursday night lead to a holiday weekend. read more

We ordered the chicken fingers, fries and I got the curry bowl, hubby got the jalapeno burger. Everything was delicious and hearty. Fresh and hot! Also the lavender lemonade was SOOO good! The guy at the counter was so nice and patient, answering my plethora of questions. Also loved the ambiance, still. I always love to come here when I'm in town. Also we bought all 4 of the jerky and they were all yummy too! Thank you Native Foods!

We placed a large order in advanced online, ample of time for them to make. Upon arrival, our food was nowhere to be found. Apparently it was grabbed by someone else by mistake or on purpose. My question is, why does this establishment place their online and phone orders by the doorway? The orders are placed on a shelf by the door and food that have been sitting there can be taken by anyone. Supposedly, we were told that it wasn't the first time it's happened. That is has been happening lately that people have been grabbing food either by mistake or taking them. Why now are they doing anything about it? Why didn't they fix that issue when it happened the first time? This is the first time I've ever seen any food spot place togo orders by the door that way. I'm not sure if it's laziness or that's more efficient and quicker for them to get rid of the order. That's a huge problem right there. Anyone can take food by mistake or just plain steal them. This place is small. The staff should have delivery personnel come up to the register and ask for the orders. It's not that hard. All orders should be behind the counter. Apparently a delivery guy came in there and grabbed an order then proceeded to take our bag as well. It's a logistics issue that shouldn't even be a concern. They did fix the problem but we had to wait for them to remake everything all over again so we had to wait again. We the customers had to ask them to accommodate us and have them solve their problems. The staff are young people. They were nice about it but I suggest better service and be more attentive and quick. It was an $80+ order and the food was alright. Expensive and was mediocre. Need more flavor on most and the position could be better. Overall, they did fix the issue, but this place needs to do better.
