My husband was in the mood for breakfast at 2pm Friday October 9th 2026. We've been driving by Famer Boys while going into Palm Springs. Decided to stop in today and give it a shot. My other half ordered the three egg breakfast and I ordered the hot cakes platter. After ordering our food we went to sit at a booth. Our food arrived a few minutes later super hot and fresh. We both loved what we ordered and we both said we would come back again. I want to try a hamburger with onions rings next time. Prices are very reasonable and the place is super clean and nice. Good Shakes, ok chili fries. I had the chili cheese fries; they were a little on the salty side. The fries are crispy but salty and the chili is very pastey. I also had a strawberry shake. That was great. It was full of strawberry chunks and very creamy. The ambiance is clean and decorated modern farm, fast food-like. The sevice was good. I arrived for their grand opening celebration. There were low riders and a dj. The restaurant was all decked out. They were a bit crowded but I got served with smiles and friendliness. The food! Humongous! The burger was huge and the zucchini wow! They were so large. I couldn't finish the burger but I made sure to finish the zucchini. The owner or manager came by and offered patrons a coupon. Which i used a few days later to also try breakfast. YUM! Too bad we don't have these in the Bay Area. read more

Stopped in for lunch since we have been seeing the ads and passed by as it was being built. Friends said give it a try! Great location and seating inside, but was busy and could see how there may be times no tables available. We split a burger and chicken tenders, both were good. The tenders have a slightly spicy breading which we really enjoyed and the ranch was outstanding ! The burger had a nice char flavor and was fresh. Fries had a coating we liked, but some may not. The staff were friendly, brought our meal to the table and checked back with us too. Felt busy, but was clean and comfy for eat in dining. Overall, enjoyed our lunch and will be back. read more

This was our first time at a Farmer Boys. We went for lunch. We were both surprised at how nice it was inside. Also food and service were great! It was definitely the best "fast food" I have ever eaten. Far superior to Habit Burger, Carl's, Burger King, Jack in the Box, or McDonald's. It was as good as the burgers at higher end local burger places. The fried zucchini and the onion rings were outstanding. They have Pepsi products although I prefer Coca Cola sodas. Lots of parking. I finally made it to Farmer boys. I got the fried chicken hamburger the jumbo onion rings and the chicken tenders. It all came with an iced tea. I gotta say that the sandwich was just fair not great but ok. It had bacon and avocado and lettuce and tomato and a fried chicken breast or like a breaded chicken breast. I guess I would give it a three out of five the onion rings We're not great. They were very limp. They weren't crunchy not a bad breading but really wouldn't hold the onion very well maybe the regular ones would be better but these are the ones in their advertising so I wanted to try it. I would rate them three out of five also and the chicken tenders. They were pretty good. Had a good crunch cooked well in the middle chicken was good and it comes with ranch dressing or barbecue sauce I took the ranch the people that work were very nice. I got all this food for about $22. good deal they make it fresh. It takes about 10 minutes or so to do your order I would probably go back I would order maybe one of their jumbo salads they seem to have breakfast they open at six they close at 10 PM so they have breakfast menu which I think they serve all day. I would probably check it out one more time not in a month though probably later in the year it's still kind of fast food. They catered to the drive-through people that had music on in the background I thought it was OK I mean I hope they survive you know I don't know. read more

First time eating at any Farmer Boys and we were wowed! I ordered the Farmer Burger and the hubs ordered the Big Cheese. Both of us got their famous onion rings as our sides. All I could say was "wow" - the burgers are made from fresh beef that is cooked to order on a grill over a flame (you know, the way places used to cook before they all started using a central processing facility and microwaves - looking at you BK and McD's). I would probably go with the Double Big Cheese on my next visit - the smashed avocado on the Farmer Burger kind of gets lost flavor-wise but it was a really tasty burger. The onion rings were huge but they were also nice and crispy and delicious! We'll be back! read more

Have been going to this place since they first opened for lunch / dinner! And I have never been disappointed with anything as the place is always neat and clean and the food is always fresh and the ambiance is casual! The service is also on point as customers are always greeted and welcome as they walk in! And the manager Danny is an awesome guy and super friendly and makes you feel like family and not just another customer and if you're not sure what to order he also has some good recommendations! Keep up the awesome work Danny you're a rockstar! I highly recommend this place for all your hunger need from breakfast to dinner and everything in between from working day shift night shift you won't be disappointed and I recommend the salads or the chicken or regular burgers! A very nice fast-casual restaurant addition to Cathedral City. Location(5/5) Along the 111 and across from the casino, this place is located in the newly built Cathedral Cove Plaza on the opposite site of the Agua Caliente Casino. I would say this restaurant is a mix between Denny's and the Habit Burger, but definitely on the healthier side. They offer breakfast and lunch/dinner options, and it's very hard to decide which one to get. The restaurant also has a drive thru option, but I decided to order inside as I've heard the dine in experience is better. Service (4/5) The workers were very green and in training, so one should be extra patient with them for the first couple of months. Also, to my surprise, my order was correctly placed and I even had some substitutions made. If you eat inside, they will give you a number placard to leave on your table and a workers will deliver the order to your table. The food did take a little long to come to my table, but it was very busy inside and I went on the second day of their opening. Food (4.5/5) I decided to go with their lunch options and I got the farmer burger which had 2 quarter oz beef patties and opted out of the cheese as the burger already had avocado on it. This was definitely the best item I had because the beef tasted clean and fresh (a less greasy option compared to the Habit Burger). I also ordered the 3 piece tender box which came with fries and Texas style toast. The tenders were good but on the smaller side. However, the fries were definitely my favorite because they used little to no salt seasoning on them (I dislike restaurants that overly season their food, if I want more salt I'll add it myself!). The Texas toast was also good and tasted less greasy compared to Raising Canes version of Texas toast. My friend ordered their grilled chicken salad and his only complaint was that the chicken was cold and didn't taste very fresh, but the lettuce was much fresher and tasted good. This is a new location in my town so I understand that sometimes it takes a while to get the kinks worked out, so far I have eaten here twice, and it takes forrreeeeer to get your food, I pull in to the drive thru and there are 2 cars in front of me, I ordered some zucchini and a soda that was all and it took over 30 minutes, that is unacceptable. Went there Monday night at 8:30 PM got the farm stand box requested no onion and no tomato and add ketchup for the french fries When I got home, the cheeseburger was burnt crispy burnt. It had a handful of onions more than I've ever seen on any burger when I asked for no onions they did not put lettuce on it, which it was supposed to come with lettuce. read more

Im going to begin with stating, the service that Carmen gave was outstanding. She was great, and went above and beyond. However, as I sat in my vehicle for over 10 minutes waiting, I was admiring the building. So much so, that I could see in the back as they prepared the food. While the chef prepared my order, I could see he had no gloves, nor tongs, as my French toast sticks were placed into my box. Unfortunately these actions cause concern for me, and being this was my first time, it will be a while before I return. I think the management should ensure their employees are ​using proper food handling procedures. read more
