Five guys is a good burger place to try. The service was great and accommodating. I like their burgers because of so many options you can have placed on your burger. I like A-1 on mine. The salted carmel shake was quite good. The inside is unique with the pictures of quotes on the wall. You can get free peanuts and eat them while you are waiting for your order. The fries were just ok and definitely not worth the cost. Service was friendly. I just made my last purchase at Five Guys...$5.00 for a little fries...a few months ago a regular fries was roughly the same price and could feed 3 people...I opened the bag when I got to my car and I was shocked...7 or 8 small fries loose in the bag and a 4 ounce cup almost full with 2-3 inch fries. I'm not really quite sure about this place. Although it is always fresh and good. Sometimes it's really good and super tasty. And sometimes it's just good. Hate to be flaky on this one but I think I need to pop in a little more often. Although I have been here 2 times in the last month and both times have been good. Tonight the fries were excellent and lots of them. Last time not as many and a little cooler. But for the most part Five Guys are pretty consistent. I always stick with the little bacon burger...it's truly big enough especially when you get so many fries when you order fries with your burger. Meat is always tender and hot. Veggies are always fresh. Fries are always fresh. Some people seem to think it's pricey. I think it's pretty standard. All in all I would go there for a burger and fries. Not really my go to place. They should name this place Five Fries. The burgers are mediocre and taste as if they're not seasoned at all. It's as if they take a simple beef NON SEASONED patty, throw it on a skillet grill for a few mins and serve it up. Nothing stands out, nothing that really makes you want to go back. Except, the fries. Yup, they are cut daily and fried in peanut oil (which makes them dark and look over cooked but it's just the oil and I assure you, they're not) The only problem is you have to eat them with in the first 10 mins- sometimes a drive to my house (I live 3 miles away) can make them get soggy and limp and it ruins them. One Pro- they allow you to get your burger made in a bowl. That's when they take the patties and place them in a foil Tupperware on top of lettuce, tomato and grilled mushroom and onions if you wish. We all like to cut the carbs nowadays, huh? If you do, this is the perfect keto option. If you're skipping keto, please get the fries!! I will say i've stopped here a few times during the pandemic, it was clean and kept safe for both customers and employees. A con- it's way too pricey and imo, not worth it. There's nothing special about these burgers at all. A drive to In and Out burger will make you 10x happier and have much more flavor. read more

Ok, so I had my first Five Guys burger in Vegas a few years ago and was kind of disappointed. While it's nice that all the toppings are included which makes for a filling burger, the burger patties themselves were pretty dry which definitely ruined it. The fries and free peanuts were good, though but I was just reluctant to try them again. Fast forward to 2018 and we're in Palm Springs and kind of hungry for a burger. Well, might as well give Five Guys another try...this time, much better. I got the Bacon Cheeseburger with everything on it except pickles, green peppers, and raw onions with an order of fries. It was a bit busy but our burgers came out decently quick. I didn't mind waiting since I could snack on peanuts, lots and lots of peanuts. I like cracking a whole bunch of peanuts and putting the nuts in a pile and then eating a handful all at once. Anyway, the burger was juicier this time and hit the spot. I did end up putting a whole bunch of peanuts into the burger to put sort of an Elvis spin on it, I thought that was pretty good. Once again, I thought their fries were tasty. I guess the next time I'm in Vegas i won't be as hesitant to have more Five Guys burgers. I know there's some in Hawaii now but sorry FG Hawaii, I just can't get past the jacked up prices you charge. read more

well what can you say about 5 guys, they're pretty consistent with being really good and fresh. Only downside is that I dont really think that they understand what light cajun fries really is, because it doesnt matter which location it is, they still coat them with what seems to be an entire shaker of salt/seasoning. other than that they are always nice and food is good read more

This is a tough review to write. The food at 5 Guys is good. The Palm Springs location has plenty of parking and the staff keep the restaurant tidy. BUT the recent price increases at 5 Guys far exceed reasonable! I took a friend for a regular cheeseburger, I had a junior cheeseburger, we shared 1 regular fries, and 2 regular size sodas.... the cost came to about $36!!!! For that amount of fast-food, with walk-up service, that is robbery and outrageous! I doubt I'll be back to 5 Guys again! read more

The burger was great at PalmSprings near the airport on E Ramon on June 18th. The young Hispanic guy who waited on me knew exactly what I wanted. He had a thoughtful eye and was willing to ensure i was happy with my meal. He was professional and sure did make an impression. Eating there Completely made my day. Soggy fries ever darn time. Even when I order them crispy or extra crispy. Have I just not realized for the last 40 years that fries are supposed to be served nearly raw, and that crispy means just a little less raw? Are they trying to protect me from my own ignorance? I think more likely is that there is no communication from the cashier to the fry cook, and even when the cashier puts "crispy" in the order notes, the fry cook doesn't see these. When the cashier does happen to tell the fry cook to make them crispy, this is subjective. There doesn't appear to be a fry timer (the way McDonald's gets their fries the same every single time without fail), so "cooked enough" depends on who's monitoring the oil. So why do we keep going back? When the fries are good, they're good. But when they're bad, they are completely inedible. Three times this month they haven't been cooked through even though we asked for crispy. At this point, there has to be some training done on cooking fries before we'll go back. read more

I have often heard people refer to 5 guys as "overrated." When it comes to the flavor of the food and how friendly the employees are, I would have to disagree. I love the build-your-own burger concept. Having quality ingredients and allowing customization, ensures a great tasting creation. They also have some of the best French fries hands down. I'm a fan of spicy food and think the Cajun spices make quality fries even better. Also, the employees are always super friendly when I stop by this location. They genuinely seem happy to be at work. So why three stars instead of four? The time it takes to get your food here! I know real food takes real time but this is a little ridiculous. I have been aware that it takes a while to have your food made here, so I usually use the app to order my food and just pick it up. I didn't do that my last visit and definitely payed the price with time I will never get back. I had noticed there were only two employees working, at least in the front of house. I know businesses like this one try to save money by saving labor, but one more body may make this a lot a little faster and more efficient. read more

Walking into this business I noticed how clean everything was. Of course there was no seating due to the Covid. Honestly, my favorite burger. And I will go out of my way to find one. But for the love of god, someone build one with a drive-thru! If this was the first 5 Guys hamburgers I ate at I would never go again. The burgers were well, well, well, well done and the buns didn't have any life to them. The bacon was so overcooked it just crumbled like sand and they fried all the flavor out of it! I did not recognize french fries as a 5 Guys french fries order. Except for the cup and the extra ones. How Times have changed. I was craving the fries today , you know that oversized greasy bag of fries that are salty and taste wonderful with malt vinegar! Conora virus will be bad for Five Guys. No more Free Peanuts , no more bottles of malt vinegar and worst of all the prices have gone beyond reason . Friend owed me lunch and wanted to go to Five Guys. I have only been to one around 5 years ago and it was good, but nothing that wowed me. So I was willing to try it again. I must say their fries are very good! Among the best. As for the burger, I'm more of an in-n-out guy, but I know what I want and it consistently tastes the same. As for Five Guys, you can make thousands of different burgers. The toppings all tasted good and the beef was fresh. The peanuts are fun, but messy. 3 stars because it seemed to be way over priced and the lack of fresh brewed iced tea is missing? I'll try it again for some fries and maybe a small burger, but for the price of one burger I can almost get a burger, fries and fresh brewed iced tea at my other favorite burger joint in CA. read more

The menu gives you multiple options for your burger, but beyond that, this isn't one of those places where you can guarantee that everyone will find something they want. Burgers, fries, sodas, that is about it. I ended up getting a cheeseburger. I didn't customize it too much, but my friend did. He got everything. His burger was a mess. We ordered seasoned fries. We were given a ton of hot, greasy, salty fries. They had good flavor, but the bag was translucent when we got them. (yes!) I expected a picture perfect burger, but I didn't get that. I went here for lunch a few days ago, and had a 'little' cheeseburger (with grilled mushrooms and jalapenos), 'little' cajun fries, and a regular iced tea -- for a grand total, including tax, of $14.18. Over $14 for fast food. Granted, the burger was good, but the fries were limp and very greasy. The iced tea was iced tea. For $14, I can get a tavern burger, bottomless fries (that are cooked correctly), and an iced tea at a well-known sit-down restaurant where someone takes my order and brings my food. Seriously, I had sticker shock when the girl behind the register told me my total. The service was friendly, and like I said, the burger was good -- but not $14 good. I have been coming here for a while but the restaurant allowed a untrained dog that was barking and wouldn't sit on command to be inside the restaurant. There is outdoor seating at this location. This is not a therapy or service dog. I'm an animal lover, but what the heck? It's just gross to have a misbehaving dog next to me while eating in an indoor public place with outdoor seating. read more

If you like Five Guys then you'll like this location. Friendly service, fresh food and they are always generous with the fries if you order them. Place is usually clean and they get my food to me in a reasonable amount of time for a Five Guys. The food and ingredients are quality and the price reflects that. I typically spend no less than $15 just on myself when I stop here. Five Guys is a pretty good chain imo all the locations I visit are relatively the same and so are my experiences. I never leave reviews but this is the 3rd time I've had my order messed up. I specifically ask for extra, extra grilled jalapeños. last time I got extra grilled onions with no jalapeños and this time I didn't get jalapeños at all either. It has to be because the music is too loud and they always have issues hearing your order, even before the masks and barriers were a thing.
