Pretty clean outside with nice umbrellas over tables with plenty of seating too

We pulled up and noticed it was pretty full inside with people enjoying their food (which was a good sign) and we finally found a place to park and walked inside. If we hadn't felt so rushed through the process, I think we would've enjoyed ourselves more because I simply didn't hear it when they told my husband that the build your own pizza was whatever toppings for the same price. I thought we had to keep them to only 3 and therefore didn't get what I really wanted on my pizza... I would recommend this being rectified by them telling the person ordering (each one) that the build your own pizza was unlimited toppings --whichever ones you want! Also, the tiny placards stating what was what were difficult to see...not old person friendly... Next time, I'll know and get what I'd like on my darn pizza! The drinks were limited and I'd also recommend them getting a Freestyle machine so there's a much better choice in drinks. I don't drink dark soda (ones with caramel coloring) and there weren't any options in zero sugar other than that, much to my disappointment... The pizza was pretty good, it was kinda clean, but I think we just beat the dinner rush because as we cleaned up after ourselves and turned to leave, the line was queing up past the door! We didn't get a chance to try the salads or anything else unfortunately, but next time should be better.

The $10 2 topping pizza and a drink deal is really good! The brick oven pizza is good, and there's lots of topping to choose from. The place is pretty small though, so maybe it gets packed during busy times. Our food was very good, the homemade lemonade was great, and it was clean and quick.

I went to Blaze Pizza for the first time today and thoroughly enjoyed it! I cannot eat cheese so I was very appreciative of their vegan cheese option. I loved that they have the option to create a custom pizza and the service was quick! I would definitely like to return.

My perfect pizza!!!

Andrew was the gentleman who took our order, he was so friendly and full of charisma. I ordered a build your own gluten free pizza with a glove change, and my boyfriend a regular build your own. My boyfriend noticed that the one associate who was pulling my pizza bread out did not change gloves and spoke up, Andrew clarified to him before it was too late thankfully. I hope this is corrected in the future as I am someone who would have an actual allergic reaction to gluten contamination. Troy assisted in building our foods, who changed gloves immediately for me and also pulled my toppings from underneath to ensure no cross contamination which I appreciated SO much! He was also very pleasant to speak with and very friendly! Shout out to those boys! Overall the entire restaurant needs to be thoroughly cleaned and maintained throughout the day as well. It was very dirty on the floor, food and trash all over and also the topping bar was very dirty as well. We have been to multiple Blaze Pizza's and this one by far both times we've come here is the absolute dirtiest of them. The remainder of the team was sorta in cahoots, the Lutz location has it down pat if they need some help with team operations/organizations. I appreciate Andrew and Troy for being so understanding and friendly! Burnt smore

We went to Blaze to get some dessert because we were hungry, and we got two s'mores, and they were both burnt.

It's hard to find keto friendly food in restaurants, especially pizza! I hate cauliflower crusts, and their keto crust is so much better.

Do u make Greek pizzas?

FINALLY returned to this gem in the 4th Ave Food Park! I came here over a year ago and absolutely…read moreloved it. I am personally a big fan of Detroit style pizza and thought they did a pretty good job. While they aren't owned or affiliated with Satchel's anymore, the eatery still offers that same unique vibe of Satchel's. Ordering is simple, just order inside and they will call your name out when it is ready over an intercom. Everything is made fresh to order, so be prepared to wait at least 15 minutes for your pizza. It is served directly out of the oven and is very hot and fresh! They offer some specialty pizzas, but they have so many topping options it is super easy to curate your own pizza too. The pizzas are a nice size, about an 8x10 pan size. A good personal pizza size, but could easily be shared too. Along with pizzas, they offer salad, waffles, some desserts, and brews. This go around, I customized my own pie. I went with pepperoni (they use the cup pepperonis!), black olives, mushrooms, and basil. These toppings balanced out perfectly and there were ample amounts of each. The pizza was covered in toppings, with a nice sauce to cheese ratio. I love the cup pepperonis and find they hold a lot more flavor, bringing more to the pizza overall. The saltiness of the olives and the fresh mushrooms accompanied the pizza perfectly. The edges were nice and crisp, the sauce flavorful, and the cheese was divine. It wasn't soggy by any means either, which I GREATLY appreciate. This pizza was phenomenal, while it wasn't the most authentic Detroit style, it was certainly close enough! I also got a salad, which was underwhelming to say the least. It was supposed to come with "homemade croutons", but lacked them completely. Definitely not worth the $8.50...wouldn't recommend the salad. While the pizza is a little more expensive, especially considering they only offer takeout, the quality is present. And I do think the serving size is bigger, so I say it's worth it! Overall, I was super pleased with my experience and was more than happy I finally returned. The pizza was just as good as I remembered. Everything is made fresh to order and the service is great as well. I would for sure check this place out, especially if you are in the mood for some good pizza! Can't wait to return and try more.

I often went to SquareHouse Pizza thinking it would be like when they first opened, but it makes…read moresense after they separated from Satchels it would never be the same. I have come time and time again disappointed with the pizza size and the time it took to make it. Size: Pizza used to come in the size of their box! As you can see in my picture, that is no longer the case. It is no longer an actual square like its namesake but a rectangle. It reminds me of "all squares are rectangles, but not all rectangles are squares." And while it makes me chuckle to think how SquareHouse should know that. I am still disappointed in paying for that much of a pizza when I could get a larger one to share with friends at the same price point elsewhere. Service: Now I understand they can get busy but one time I waited 25 minutes with only one person ahead of me for my food -- a before anyone says anything. I ordered their waffles. Another time, they never called my name. They have a speaker but don't use it. It is a food park with tables everywhere. If you don't use the speaker system and know folks sit further than you can scream, then I think they should give a beeper. Ambience: It's at the food park which is great as long as it's not raining bc spaces to sit under covered areas are limited. And bc it was previously partnered with Satchels it has the same vibe. Overall, go once if you haven't but just be ready for disappointment Update since writing to address the comments of the business owner: 1) When I say first opened, I meant when it was called SatchSquared. 2) Size of the pizza: You're right I looked at pictures and updated. They aren't squares but from one years ago. They definitely filled the box more. 3) I sincerely don't appreciate being told about waiting or orders ahead and phone calls. I have come here more than 20 times and my experiences are always the same. I've come at opening, during high traffic times, and etc. And I am not someone to review after one instance of a place, I like to give them chances. I have lived in Gainesville for 17 years, and I'm very well aware of being polite to residents. I have definitely sat in the tables in the covered area close to the pick up window and have had to ask if my food was ready bc my name was not called and just to find out it was ready. I gave a suggestion about using beepers like the other places. I'm sorry my review caused some upset feeling but I stand by it. Service is not great. If you wanted to discuss via email then you could've politely said that. I won't be returning. Thanks!

We showed up on graduation day so our wait was about 45 minutes. With so much to look at we didn't mind. I was so intrigued. I couldn't help but take so many photos. I wanted to explore it all! The place was packed, elbow to elbow. I had so much fun walking around and seeing all the art. I had a blast on the swing. There was so much to see. In one of the bathrooms, the walls were covered with children's games. And you won't have to worry about running out of toilet paper because there were a bunch of holders. We got seated outside. Our server came quick but gave us enough time to order. I ordered a pesto pizza with extra sausage and tomatoes. It took about 30 minutes to get our pizza but we knew it would take longer because of how busy it was. When I got my pizza it was piping hot. Pulled a slice off and it was loaded with sausage. A meat pizza! Impressive!!! It was delicious. The right amount of sauce. The slices were large. I liked it a lot. When we finished eating pizza the server brought the dessert menu. The coolest menu ever: it was a viewfinder!!!!! I had to order dessert just because of the menu. I got the chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting. It was a huge piece, moist, and the frosting had the right amount of sweet. It was worth every calorie. I was so excited about my food I forgot to take pictures. Oops! I can't wait to go back. Next time I'll be sure to get photos of my pizza! If you're looking for unique I suggest Satchel's. It should be a landmark for Gainesville.

The place is really cool and lived up to all the vibes I had been told about. However, we did sit outside at one of the concrete picnic type tables and my back and butt regretted that later as they are obviously hard and no back rest. Service was good and friendly. The pizza was good, but not amazing. I have heard people rave about Satchel's for years, so I may have had too high expectations. Really good sauce, toppings seemed fresh, but could have used a little more cheese. The crust was good and crisp, however the toppings and sauce could have been spread to the edge more as there was at least 2 inches of crust along the edges. (As evidenced by some of the pictures posted by others.) Overall a decent pizza joint and cool place to visit, but ultimately not convenient for me.

Our appetizer and drink orders taken, we set to decide whether to try the Greek offerings or the Italian! Both looked delicious and the reviews I read previously really set my mouth watering for pizza AND the souvlaki! Unfortunately, my husband got his good old standby, Chicken Parmesan. We both tried different medium pizzas and we ordered Calamari Fritta (but asked for the peppers to not be included) as our appetizer. Have you ever had super fresh REAL calamari? Sliced fresh and hand breaded and then served to you? I had one other time in Tarpon Springs, and this was just as incredibly dished up for us! Marinara sauce and a spicy sweet sauce like a Mae Ploy was also served with them and two nice lemon slices. Stupendous! Our drinks? Perfectly done-- considering our excellent waiter, AJ, didn't know what an Arnold Palmer even was! What a surprising, talented young man! My souvlaki! Absolutely to die for! Wowza! The side I got was the garlic broccolini and YUMMMMM! My husband's chicken parm was so good that he devoured it BEFORE I could even snap a picture! LOL Our pizzas were some of the best we've ever had. The crust is so delicious and they sure don't hold back on the toppings. I consumed half of mine without even realizing it. Wow. I got the Lil' Sicily that has pepperoni, sausage, ricotta, basil and oregano. The hubby chose the Scoula pie that has pepperoni, Italian sausage, ground beef, mushrooms, onions and green peppers. Both were out of this WORLD! Needless to say, I think we just found our newest favorite spot for dinner. So many Greek dishes to keep me happy and plenty of Italian ones to keep the husband happy too! Don't know why we hadn't stopped in before now to try this place!! Gainesville has a new pizza place! Bring on the parade!…read more So I went here recently to try them out... I waited until after they had gotten through at least some of their initial opening problems that always seem to crop up with a freshly opened restaurant. It is located in what used to be Gainesville's best ice cream parlor (which in turn was previously a Starbucks before they moved down the road and became Gainesville's biggest traffic problem for 13th). Given this pedigree, I had high hopes. Sadly, I don't think they are going to last. Entering, the place is decorated decently. Figuring out how the place works takes a couple seconds of standing there and looking around, but eventually it becomes clear that they will either do counter ordering or you can order through electronic kiosks. I went with the kiosk since there was a family in front of me that was ordering at the counter. Looking through the menu, I found that they have only one size of pizza, the 11". This is fine if you are one or two people, but if you are a family you are going to be ordering more than one. This is kind of the reason why I think they are doomed. While the pizza toppings are the full variety, the fact that you only have one choice in size and that is the only thing on the menu for food (no wings, no breadsticks, etc. All they have is pizza) means that your choices are fairly narrow. Combine that with being located a fair distance from the university campus, which means that the clientele are coming in from the suburbs, and this appears to me to be a recipe for disaster. Don't get me wrong... the pizza is good. The problem here is not the quality of the product, nor the staffing or even the decor. The problem is a combination of the lack of variety combined with proximity to a customer base that will support a single-product enterprise. If they were located on University Ave across the street from UF, they might have a chance assuming they could balance their sales against the cost of a lease along there, or if they offered a wider variety of food options at their current location, I think they could make a proper go of it, but as it stands now, I (sadly) am expecting to see something new in that location in a year or two.
