Giving it two stars because the employees were mostly helpful. Admittedly, we haven't visited in a long time, and after this visit we won't be back. First let me say, my husband and I both hate the menu changes. I'd hardly call these artisanal when they are all bland choices you can get at any pizza place. I did a build your own because they no longer had my simple pizza choice. It was impossible to see the labels on the ingredients and I felt really rushed trying to choose ingredients for a salad and a pizza simultaneously. Once I received my order, the salad and pizza ingredients just tasted bland. I'd rather buy a frozen pizza and a premade salad from the grocery, pretty much the same effect, and possibly even better tasting. The icing on the cake was the practically shot glass-sized cups we were given for water. We had to go fill them 5-6 times just to eat our meal. I'd gladly have paid a dollar for a regular cup I could put ice in if that's the problem. Be advised that this is NOT a sit-down full service restaurant. Also there is no signage at all saying where to go to order which is odd. The menu board of selections is above the assembly line NOT available to read while you are waiting in line therefore you will hold up the line unless you want to use your phone to look up the menu. So if you have never been here before...good luck...you will feel like an idiot. The crust is super crispy thin and charred (my dad said it was burnt). Mine wasn't too burnt but I am not a fan of crispy crust. If you don't like spicy, please let the staff know so they don't give you a spicy sauce (mine was way too spicy). Came here for father's day but we were both disappointed (due to layout confusion, burnt crust, and too spicy). Pizza is decent. My only complaint is the cheese. It had a weird texture, almost like it didn't melt. But it did melt? I don't know, but I'm knocking off a star. The rest of the ingredients seemed good, and they didn't skimp on the toppings. Crust is good too, not the best, but decent. The boyfriend made a margarita pizza. Again, the cheese was weird, and I struggled to finish one piece. He managed to finish it all, but even he said the cheese was weird. I made a chicken and chorizo white sauce pizza with broccoli, roasted garlic, and mushrooms. I got a drizzle of pesto sauce on top once the pizza was done cooking. I couldn't taste the chorizo, but the rest of the food was good. Again, my only issue was the weird cheese texture. You should get a drink. They have a blood orange lemonade that was so nice and necessary to swallow the weird cheese on the pizza. Workers were nice. The view is fun to watch the cars go by. It's been a while since I've been back to Blaze. This place was very busy on a Friday evening at prime time. The line was a bit long, the wait for the food followed suit and the waiting area got crowded. The area was clean despite the busyness. The team hustled and were friendly and professional. The pesto cheesy bread was okay. The crust was nice and crispy but soft. The bread had a slight garlic appeal and was piled high with fresh mozzarella cheese. The pesto sauce was just kind of there. It was drizzled across the melted cheese. It had a nice taste but not outstanding. The meat eater pizza had a nice soft thin crust with a slight crunch. The meat was plentiful. The toppings tasted fresh but not much spice. The sauce was thin and didn't add much seasoning to the taste. Overall the pizza was very tasty! Especially if you like thin crust pizza! Over read more

We were unable to get a refund on our meal through Uber Eats because they said the store refused to acknowledge the quality issues. Blasé should be ashamed having sent food out this disgusting. I ordered online from Blaze Pizza my usual order (same thing I have gotten for years). Upon arrival, I noted the 11inch pizza had the amount of toppings equivelant to how much one slice usually has. I asked the worker about it, and this is what Cam the manager told me: "If you were here to tell us how much you wanted, we would give you more, but that is not how online orders work. We have a new owner, and he is really strict about portions, and you were not here to tell us. That is how it works." I called him out on lying to me because the last time I ordered, it was online, and I got the normal amount- a lot more. It was just a few weeks ago. I asked him if he was going to fix it. This was my first time at not only this Blaze Pizza, but overall the first time getting food from this chain. My family had been shopping in Fort Wayne and wanted to take some food home. We decided to take some pizza home and I wanted to try out Blaze Pizza. For a restaurant chain that advertises quick service, service was a bit slow. Yeah the line was a bit long coming in, but all in all we spent about 50 minutes inside the restaurant. Thats not exactly quick service. Besides that, there was this one guy working there that did not know what he was doing. Guy spilled all our toppings on the way to the oven, they had to redo it. This was not the only time he did it. I saw him do it to two other customers. Ultimately the pizza was good. It was better than standard fare like Pizza Hut and Dominos. I have had better though. One thing I do want to bring up is restaurant cleanliness as it is an issue. The floors are a bit sticky and the bathroom... is just absolutely disgusting. Never coming back. read more

Lunch for a friends bday. Sat on patio, it was a nice day out. Ordered online. Came out just as ordered and on time. Nice and hot. Crust done perfectly. The middle isn't soggy and the crust is the perfect thinness. I come here about once a month and my pizzas are always different. In my opinion they're the best pizza Around and the only kind I eat. I don't like pizza but love theirs. The prep counter is always a mess but the ingredients are fresh and they are always so busy that I imagine finding time to clean up all the time is tough. They never stop making pizzas. And the online orders just keep printing out. I've gone before and there are 10-15 pre orders on the counter. They have a system and it's flawless how they work. Many different crust options, sauce option and toppings galore. They even offer toppings that go on your pizza after it's been baked and I recommend doing one or two Highly recommend. Worse pizza I have had in a longtime! Have people lost their taste buds this place is cardboard with toppings! If it wasn't bad enough that their sauce was basically tomato paste with zero effort in making it flavorful, I asked for the pesto drizzle! The key word here is drizzle! Disclaimer: The pizza was very good (but everything else was atrocious). This is/was the first, and will probably be the last time we ever visit Blaze. While the pizza was good, the service or lack there of, has sealed the deal for us. We placed an online order, and waited for 10 minutes past the "ready time" to go pick it up. When we arrived, our pizzas hadn't even been started. The employees didn't acknowledge us until I asked about our order - We were told it was still being put together. 25 minutes later, our order was complete, but the employees didn't let us know it was done... Between the apparent pothead that was higher than Willy Nelson (yeah I get it, the name is "Blaze" for a reason) and the two kids playing grabbing @ss and screwing around on their iPhones, this place was more mismanaged than Brandon at a WH press conference. My rating is probably more like a 3.5 teetering on a 4. My son and I stopped by Blaze Pizza yesterday for lunch. It was right around 12 and it wasn't too busy yet. He wanted garlic cheese bread so we got that as well as 2 pizzas. He went with a safe sausage pizza and enjoyed it, but wasn't overwhelmed. I had the bbq pizza and I thought it was great! Love the fire baked pizza! The service ordering and getting the pizza was really good but their ordering process seems awkward. I had only been there one other time and I just wasn't sure what I needed to do next and no one explained where to go or what to do. Now why the 3.5 stars? The garlic cheese bread was horrible and tasteless. Has the owners tried it lately? And when they try it, is their marinara ice cold? I have never had cold marinara for my garlic bread and I almost gagged when I tried my first bite! I tried another slice but we both decided it just wasn't worth the calories. This guy never turns down garlic cheese bread, but today was a first. The restaurant itself was pretty clean and had a nice vibe to it but it really was just like any other fast food place. Then, when we finally got to order, it took forever for them to get our pizzas in the oven. They weren't even busy! Also, they were completely out of the pasta bakes even though they had a sign out front promoting them. Take down the sign when you run out. That's common sense. I waited for 10 minutes even though I found out my pizza was already done and it was just that no one had said anything. I was told they were behind ( they forgot) so it would be 10-15 min longer. 30 min later I called, again. Finally a total of 1 hr and 25 min after I ordered I received my pizzas and they were not fresh. They had been sitting awhile. Not happy with this and considering not returning. I've seen these popping up in a few places, but had t actually stopped into one yet. I've been missing out. The dough is pressed in front of you and then you build your pizza. They have preset options like meat lover, but everything is completely customizable. I was thinking about a funny half and half combo with several toppings, but didn't want to end up with a $15 tab, when the girl behind the counter told me the most expensive a pizza would be is $8.45. That's awesome. Custom pizza, made fresh and totally affordable. If you don't have a big appetite you can definitely have leftovers. Will definitely be back. Gluten Free review: I finally tried this place since my also gluten-free sister was in town! First the good: The gluten free crust is amazing! Chewy and flavorful, unlike any gluten free crust I have had anywhere else. The toppings were excellent and high quality. We opted for a two topping with classic red sauce (pepperoni and mushroom) and a white pizza with garlic and bacon. Both pizzas were created in front of us, so we could make sure everything was just how we wanted it. I recommend adding the oregano and sea salt. So good. Pizza was bendable/foldable and very tasty! I can't wait to go back. For the not-so-good (which there wasn't much to complain about), there music was very loud. So much so I couldn't hear my sister across the table. The staff happily turned it down when asked. As for cross-contamination with gluten-containing ingredients, the gentleman taking our order offered to change gloves without us asking. The speedy line makes difficult to build your own pizza. However. The pizza was good. They were pretty busy and you could tell a bit flustered. By the time we got to the end to pick up the pizzas they were basically just throwing em at the customers. Not asking about finishes or if you're planning to stay or go, thus wasting a lot of boxes. The spaces itself could use a good mopping and wiping of surfaces regularly around the drink station, as well as stocked. For the pizza I would go back, however; management was on one, was talking to her employees like they were incompetent, no cares for how busy the restaurant was or what was coming in and out of the oven. It had undercooked broccoli on it and the only other veggies it had on it was onions and mushrooms. My girl got the veg out too. They did not put any sauce on it for some reason.
