Being a detroit native living in Indiana, I was so excited to see a Pita Way in Fort Wayne while I was traveling there for work! Of course I had to stop in and get the Detroit Lunchbox with the Detroit Falafel + fries. Pita Way genuinely has some of the best falafel. They make it to order, so it comes out hot, fresh, and super crispy. Even though it's a chain, Pita Way is such a good fast-casual option. Our nephew suggested we have dinner here while visiting Fort Wayne. We loved it! The service was fast and friendly. I had the legacy bowl with dark meat chicken and white sauce. Went here for a dinner on a random night. It's a custom meal type spot so lot of options to build your own bowl or sandwich. Great for vegetarians too. The restaurant has a few tables and booths. The service was good and everyone was friendly. We got bowls which are a great and the portions are pretty big. Got hummus and fries on the side which were both great! I think next time I will try the Fire Fries which are the spicier version I believe. Regardless of the food being good, I gave this place 3 stars because the pita is not great. It doesn't come warmed up and they're too thin also. On top of that, the soda machines were dispensing flat drinks. I would still go back to try some things that I didn't get this time. read more

Wow what a huge change for the worse. I took 2 days to fully accept the experience. The option are the same but the quality ended. We got 2 bowls with dark meat. I could name the pieces of chicken. The guy was not the same friendly guy we had before and the food was not remotely the same quality. The size of the portion is for a 5 year old. WOW HOW DOES IT GO FROM A 5 STAR REVIEW TO A 2! Pita Way is a refreshing take on the "build-your-own" style restaurant. This was my first time and the staff was eager to help me pick the best options on the menu. I went with the falafel bowl and "Fire Fries." My bowl was made fresh and looked really great. Most places like this sort of just slop everything into a bowl, but here every addition to the bowl was placed with intention, ultimately adding to the overall presentation of the bowl. The result was a well balanced, flavorful bowl. The fire fries were crispy and well-seasoned. The toppings paired with their house chipotle sauce gave the fries a flavorful kick. Honestly I could eat an entire plate of just the fries. While the meal felt light, it left me feeling full (but not too full). This place is AMAZING!!! The food is superior Mediterranean food! I don't know how they make the tabbouleh so good. Portions are generous. The garlicky hummus is delicious! This was my second visit. The first visit was better. Food was ok. But the floors are so sticky and dirty. Same with the drink station. To me this is off putting, because if your restaurant doesn't look clean up front it makes me wonder if it's like this in the back area where food is kept too. This place is wonderful! I often have tournaments at the plex which is about 8 minutes away. Me and my mom often go out for food after a game. This is our go to spot. Good food with friendly staff! This is a chipotle style restaurant that's centers around Greek food. You get a great portion sizes and the cut the meat right in front of you! Great food and great service -Mediterranean food is lacking in Fort Wayne to put it mildly -one of my favorite styles of food -I'm not big on chains but this is a little bit of a mom and pops chain -the menu is simple and for me that is usually a good thing -our first visit was great -the customer service was 5 stars ,we got a sandweech a bowl and an order of the fire fries -all the food was excellent-they offer a wide variety of vegetables that includes unusual options -our second visit was similar to our first but opted to split a pita and again got the fire fries -third visit was good as well but the rhythm was s little off -food and service were both great -I would strongly suggest trying this spot but honestly I don't care if you do as I worry about good things becoming mediocre because of high demand and all the strain that can put on employees and food quality -either way I think there is already enough of a demand that maybe we can get some locals to open up a good falafel/ shawarma /doner kebab shop to keep the competition up -great job at pita way and thanks for venturing in to our city -it was much needed! read more
