A dark meat chicken bowl. If you look , you will not see any chicken.
Travis K.

Wow what a huge change for the worse. I took 2 days to fully accept the experience. The option are the same but the quality ended. We got 2 bowls with dark meat. I could name the pieces of chicken. The guy was not the same friendly guy we had before and the food was not remotely the same quality. The size of the portion is for a 5 year old. WOW HOW DOES IT GO FROM A 5 STAR REVIEW TO A 2! I would not recommend this place , the food is now BLAH and the place sucks to get to. Try the Halal store on Lake for the the real deal everytime

Falafel bowl (rice, chickpeas, hummus, garlic sauce, tabbouleh, lettuce, tomatoes, house sauces) w/ pita & fire fries

Pita Way is a refreshing take on the "build-your-own" style restaurant. This was my first time and the staff was eager to help me pick the best options on the menu. I went with the falafel bowl and "Fire Fries." My bowl was made fresh and looked really great. Most places like this sort of just slop everything into a bowl, but here every addition to the bowl was placed with intention, ultimately adding to the overall presentation of the bowl. The result was a well balanced, flavorful bowl. The fire fries were crispy and well-seasoned. The toppings paired with their house chipotle sauce gave the fries a flavorful kick. Honestly I could eat an entire plate of just the fries. While the meal felt light, it left me feeling full (but not too full). Whether you're looking for a 10/10 lunch, a solid halal or vegetarian spot, or an evening taste of middle eastern cuisine... Pita Way IS the way.

I was really amazed by my meal. It may seem like typical ingredients, but they were all so flavorful and worked great together. I wanted to try a meal with dark chicken meat, but unfortunately, it wasn't available because I arrived 5 minutes after the place opened. The interior was very clean, and the staff helped me out since it was my first time there. I'll definitely be coming back and bringing friends for lunch!

It's a very hit or miss experience at Deema. The first time I came here, it hit on EVERY level. The…read moreservice, the seasoning, the quantity. But this time, it fell short in every aspect. So I hate to lead with the negative, because there is a lot of good to say about this place. When it's good, it's phenomenal. But when it's bad, it's near unbearable. Let me just say, our last experience here was pretty magical. It was busy, but the owner still came out to greet us and give us his guidance on the menu. I had the Iskender Kebab, my partner had the Wrap plate, and we enjoyed some divine Dubai chocolate cheesecake, per recommendation of the owner. There was live music, we learned we could BYOB(!), and the service and food were outstanding. This time around, there were only about 6 tables full, including us, in the large dining area. We ordered the oven baked hummus to start. It didn't come out for 55 MINUTES. Not until AFTER our entrees arrived. After we did order the main dishes, I asked her about the hummus, and the look on her face told me she had completely forgotten it. Whatever, we're just human. The hummus itself was quite good, although the "pitas" for dipping were very papery and bland. I thought the pita last time was much more substantial, but I could be wrong. We eventually tried to order some more of the pitas but our waitress was nowhere to be found. Every time we got a hold of her, she would then disappear for around 10-15 minutes. The only person around was the woman filling our waters, so most of our questions and orders went through her. We asked her for more pita, and she said she'd put that in right away. I had a feeling she didn't understand, so when our waitress came back 10 mins later I double checked, and she said they put another hummus in the oven! I can't complain about a language barrier, but whew am I glad we didn't have to wait another hour for hummus! For the entree I had the Sac Kavurma, which visually is just stunning, like most dishes here. But flavor-wise, it was completely lacking in any seasoning or salt to make it feel like more than just calories. And so I asked the waitress for some sides of garlic sauce when I could flag her down. I saw her pass by me 3 times in the next 10 minutes and finally asked if she was bringing them, but she had forgotten. One time is meh, two times is annoying. Post-garlic sauce, the dish was a little better, but that chicken was still chewy and flavorless. My partner's Tantuni Wrap Plate was equally lacking in spice or salt, and given that she had the same thing last time, she could confirm that this time was such a huge let down in comparison. We overheard the table next to us having the same point of view, what with the food lacking in flavor entirely versus their last visit, including vegetables that were soggy and meats that had no seasoning. They also experienced the language barrier in trying to split their bill, as their waitress misunderstood their request and put everything except the appetizer on one bill. They were workshopping it for about 5 minutes, but I assume they eventually figured it out. I can definitely understand a difficulty in interpreting a different language, but as someone whose job it is to take orders and work with the person dining in, it was really unprofessional that so many things were forgotten about, misunderstood, or ignored throughout our experience. I can appreciate when the quality of food makes up for the shortcomings in service, but this time around our meals fell flat. I would give Deema 5 stars based on our last experience, and 2 stars based on this one, so I'll leave it at a solid 3.

The team is always friendly and hustles to serve. The facility is large and can accommodate 8-12 people parties fair well. Don't get alarmed at the wait. Tables turn FAST! As someone who has managed restaurants for most of my life I tend to notice things some don't. Even on a snowy day the parking lot was clean. No litter. No trash in the bushes. We were created by a friendly well dressed young man when we entered. We were shown to our table and he chatted with us genuinely while he was seating us. Our server, Kim, showed up soon after. She immediately got us our drinks. Jill got hot tea and as a bonus Kim brought the coffee cup full of hot water and a hot tea pot. That way, once her cup was done steeping, she could put the tea bag in the pot to steep. I asked for some help between two dishes and she gave great advice. She is genuinely the warmest and nicest server I've ever had. They should clone her. The food arrived very quickly for how busy the restaurant was. I can't imagine what their food cost is, because the portions are ginormous. The food was delicious. Kim continued to interact and charm us throughout the meal without being intrusive. At some point a young man came out of the back who I assume was the owner. He was interacting with the guests, running silverware to the front, chatting up the regulars and shaking hands and sincerely thanking people for coming in. At one point he repositioned a table that had been moved when the guests got up. He noticed it wasnt perfectly level and immediately addressed that issue to correct it. 13 out of 10. Highly recommend!!!
