I have been wanting to try Halal Eats for sometime! Had time to stop by today when we were in the area. You are greeted when you enter with a person at a cash register and a menu displayed on the wall. After ordering you are directed to the dining area to find a seat. The food is delivered to your table in to go cartons. Plastic table wear is also available. I was hoping when I called our servicer/cashier over that plates were available but they were paper as well. The food itself was very good. The hummus was also very good but the pita bread was thin and bland. Our Greek salad was very basic but fresh. My lamb shank was excellent...moist, juicy and falling off the bones! It was served on a bed of jasmine rice that was absolutely great. One star removed for the paper dishes and lack of service. Nevertheless we will be back! read more

This is a nice little gem. Ate there with my family and some friends, and it was very delicious. We had the falafel wrap with fries inside as well as a couple bowls, as we are vegan. Plenty of options, and very delicious. The people helping us were very friendly and helpful. Plenty of seating, and quiet. We were just driving through, but was craving Mediterranean food, and this place satisfied to the utmost. Well, when entering, I was not greeted or asked about an order for over five minutes as the individual behind the counter continued making takeout orders without making eye contact. After standing at the counter an extended time he did finally begin to take an order. I asked some questions about the menu and was given very little assistance, not knowing as much about Halal as I wish I knew I asked for recommendations finally, he said I would do a build your own bowl. When offered two types of rice and asked which was his favorite, he actually just shrugged his shoulders. Once I began building the bowl quite some time later due to the wait, I asked again what recommendations for vegetables and he said I don't know your choice. After taking a seat at a very dirty table upon eating, the chicken was so dry, it was very difficult to swallow. While the idea is good and the reviews seemed good, I wouldn't go back here. Well , usually very good. But today I ordered a beef Shawarma wrap with fries. The fries were perfect. Husband's Lamb Shank was delicious to him However, the Beef Shwarma ? UGH !!! Soooo tough I had to spit it out in a napkin. I was shocked too. There food is usually great. Not today. We called the guy who took our order over. Not the usual Man, perhaps a fairly new Man. I explained how tough it was and asked for a Chicken Shwarma instead. He brought me one and it was hot and tasty. However, sorry, there was barely any chicken in it. At the risk of sounding like a tool - too late - I've had falafel all over the country: Chicago, New York, LA, and this is by far the best I've ever had. Their lamb and chicken are delicious. They have such an incredible range of delicious and spicy toppings for their bowls. The food was FANTASTIC. My sister and I went for my boyfriend's birthday and we had the baba ganoush, stuffed grape leaves, and kibbeh to start. All of it was amazing. I've been here twice and the food does not disappoint. So nice to have MediterraneanGreek food nearby. Each time I've done carry out. Their food is extremely good. They understand vegan. Service is friendly. I always order online. The website gives me an estimated pick up time, but when I get there, the food is never ready and they look at my online order for the first time. But as soon as I arrive, they start preparing it and the wait is 5-10 minutes top. So just be aware that when you order online, go ahead and drive over there right away and tell them you're there for pick up and they'll prepare it. Otherwise if you wait for your pick up time that they give you online, you'll be waiting longer. Which honestly I don't mind. At least I know it's fresh. read more

The owners are exceptionally kind and talkative. The hummus and baba ganoush were clearly made from scratch, creamy and delicious. I also tried the chicken shawarma wrap. Toasted so the wrap was crispy, chicken was tender, garlic sauce was sweet and smooth with just the right amount of garlic. I can't wait to try the rest of their menu. Tonight I tried the falafel app, and the half roasted chicken. Yum! The garlic sauce is still my favorite, but tonight I also tried the hot sauce. Just got it today and I did the 3 meat combo. The beef shawarma is over cooked and rubbery same with the chicken shawarma. I'm disappointed as hell. I haven't even tried the kabob because it just looks dry. The "spicy salsa" that they have is just regular salsa, nothing spicy about it. The only thing that I liked was the rice and the baba Ghanoush. Once again super disappointed since everyone gave it such high reviews. Not sure how to reply to owners comment because Yelp isn't allowing me. But if he sees this, I was tempted in calling the restaurant because I was pissed that I spent 25 dollars on a meal where I literally ate only the rice and baba ghanoush, but I decided against it because it wasn't worth driving another 25 minutes there and back home.
