This place is awesome. The Gyros are great, and they make the orders extremely fast. Highly recommend it!

Decent gyro joint... We've seen the King Gyro's around town since moving back to FW a few years ago, but have never tried them... We hit up the W. Jefferson spot while on lunch for work - Not too shabby. By no means is this place an authentic Greek restaurant, but the food was alright, it was well-priced (comparatively to other restaurants around town that are price gouging customers), friendly service, and it was clean inside. $25 for two gyro combo meals is def worth it, but know that it's very average Greek food (worth a stop back though). Consistent with the quality of their food--it is good every time. I use the drive up window where service is prompt and efficient even though the waiter often appears to be under stress. Not a problem. They just want to serve their customers as efficiently as they are able. read more

First off the employes are always fast. They are all so nice when we go there. Actually we went there on Monday. They were pretty busy at the drive through but they handled it pretty quick. Husband is loving there Perch dinner with extra fish. He gets the fries n slaw too. Love there cole slaw. He goes back n forth with the fish dinner and sometimes gets 2 Ruben sandwiches ! Lol they are good. I have eaten them also. I usually get there Gyros, fries, fried okra, and occasionally a double burger. All so tasty. The wait staff are fast , so we never ever get just warm food. Piping hot every time. We usually sit in the car and watch people walking around to downtown. Talk about entertaining. LMAO Food n staff all great !! read more

Always a must stop when I am working in downtown Fort Wayne. I ate here plenty of times when I live in the city and glad nothing be has changed. You get a lot of good food for a fair price (and a lot of ice in your cup which is kind of annoying). Basically the same as it ever was. read more

King Gyros is a Mediterranean and Greek fast food spot. You place you order at the window in the lobby. After paying you move to the second window to pick-up your food. They also offer burgers and chicken sandwiches. I ended up getting the Gyro Plate ( Onion Rings, Pita, Tzatziki Sauce, Feta, Pickle, Tomato, Onion). The dish didn't come with any rice but that was okay. Like someone else mentioned you get more than enough gyro meat to have a second/third meal. The service was okay and the prices were decent. read more

Omg. This gem!!! I grabbed gyro combo here since it was close to the hotel, and OMG, I regret not checking them out sooner! I wasn't even hungry but I devoured the gyro. The meat was seasoned perfectly and the creamy sauce was soooo good. Their fries were piping hot and fresh, and they didn't salt it - which i loved. The staff was super friendly and their service was super fast. The restaurant was clean. I will be back to try other menu. Their rib tips looked so good! read more

Pretty tasty and fast service overall! Ordered the #1 Gyro combo and before I could look at my ticket number, my order was ready. The meat was a heaping portion and quite tender. The fries were piping hot and fresh. The tzatziki sauce was a bit bland in the gyro. Great place! read more

King Gyros doesn't even compare to the one on Goshen rd. Food tastes different. Different atmosphere. We prefer Goshen rd Gyros.

Got takeout from this place. It was absolutely delicious. The gyro is stuffed! Also got the onion rings. Very crunchy!

Great gyros and wonderful salads with gyros meat.. fairly Economical .... Casual, order at a counter.... Not much ambiance.. read more

First time here. So excited to try this food because I have heard great things. Easy to get to off Jefferson and a long line at the drive thru but it moved very quickly. Menu board was easy to read with lots of great options. We decided to get a few items one being the gyro meal served with a small fry and small drink. Ok, this is worth the money. The small fry is easily enough for one or two people. Mine was overflowing with crispy golden fries. The gyro was packed full of meat that was thin and tender, nice pickled onions, taziki sauce that melted into a creaminess that tasted so good combined with those onions and then sliced tomatoes. I found the bread a little hard to chew on some spots and it was a tad to thick of a bread for my taste. I split this With my daughter and she liked it very well being it was her first time Eating a gyro. The chili hot dog was smooshed but still tasted fantastic. It had a layer of mustard, and a nice layer of chili. I don't like my chili full of beans and this one was with pinto and kidney beans. I easily picked them out leaving the meaty chili and lots of diced onions. It had a tad bit of kick to it but next time I think I'll ask for hot sauce because it could have used more. The hot dog is a good size and the bun sort of overpowered the dog but not to much. My daughter and I shared it and she thought it tasted so good she wished she ordered another one. We also got the 1/4 cheeseburger and I was shocked at the size of this thing. It easily filled my kiddo up and it was served with pickle ketchup mustard and sautéed grilled onions. The cheese oozed out of the bottom as he ate it and the onions he said tasted so good paired with the meat and pickles and there were a lot of pickles. The ratio of bun to meat and toppings was Perfect. Def a must order. We loved it here and are hooked. The other one off goshen is closer to our home and we're looking forward to visiting that one soon. So many items we want to try. Leaving the parking lot was a cinch too and the option to dine in is available. Staff didn't wear gloves but did wear a mask . Not sure if they enforce social distancing inside or not. Def recommend going. Great place. read more

Great food and very quick. We ordered a hot dog and the cashier recognized we had small children. He checked with us to make sure that we wanted all condiments and onions on the hot dog which, which we didn't but also didn't ask for it plain. He promptly had a new one made for us. Very thoughtful and nice. read more

We usually love everything, but today a little disappointed. I feel like they have changed suppliers or recipes. The orca and onion rings were not bad but nothing like before and won't order again if this is the new product they are using. The gyro itself was good but something was different and size much smaller. Did NOT leave me satisfied and wanting more. read more

It's a really good place literally right across the way from TinCaps stadium which puts it right by the Downtown hotels. I got a gyro and some riblets which was a lot of food and super affordable. I've loved this place for years. They are so awesome and the food is really good. Their customer service is top. Itch as they interact with their customers. If at anytime the lines are long, they work diligently to make sure the wait isn't too long. I've been their customer for years and it's amazing to see how they react when I come order food. It's almost like seeing family that only see sometimes. They are so welcoming. They even keep casual conversation with you if the food is taking a little while. It's awesome! read more

So many reasons this place gets such a high recommendation. First being that they are a drive thru that is actually tasty and saves you from having to eat McDonalds after a late night on the town. Secondly, it was fast and very affordable. The gyro plate was fantastic and it was a great portion for two people to share at $7.50 a plate. King Gyros is the best gyro I have had in town. Taziki sauce is on point and the portions are bigger than ever! I usually go for the gyro plate plus add an extra pita. Trust me you will want to. The amount of meat and onion call for two. Which is great because then you can share with your amazing significant other or shove your face full of two gyros right in front of them! I prefer the second option. The gyro plate come with fries as well- so don't worry you will get your potato fix for the day. As all feta lovers, we can't get enough- I do wish you were given more feta. When ordering just a gyro sandwich: it is pre-made and it does not include feta! Be sure to specify you want the gyro sandwich + feta. Service is fast. Drive-thru or inside. They are constantly busy and have it down to a science. I have never been stuck in their drive-thru for very long. They are open until 4am on Friday and Saturday too!! Huge plus for those of you who enjoy a cocktail or 10 downtown and need a fourth meal before heading home. read more

There are two things my mom and I always get here: Gyro - For being their specialty, they make a GREAT gyro. I've seriously never tasted a better gyro anywhere else in the states. Ask for an extra container of sauce, if you like food heavy sauced. Ribs and Fries - I DREAM ABOUT THESE RIBS. Seriously, they are that good. Every time I come home, I have to get these. The bbq sauce is not a dark heavy sauce, instead it is a bright red sauce with medium consistency (it's not too thick and not too thin, just perfect). Always fall off the bone goodness, smothered in their sauce, and served with french fries (I always tell them to give me a double serving of fries instead of coleslaw). They also give you a piece of bread (looks like garlic bread but without the garlic butter). You MUST dip the fries and the bread in the bbq sauce. It's to die for. Go here if you want some amazing food. read more
