Food was phenomenal! Only complain is the buns were really small compared to the patty. Service was okay , kept feeling rushed to order and then to leave.. but we will definitely return!

This is the ham and cheese skillet... AMAZING!! (I don't even really like eggs haha)

This is one of the few places I've ever rated a 5-star breakfast/lunch place! I come here every weekend... food is FANTASTIC. Everyone I've ever brought here has been impressed by the food. The staff is very prompt and food comes out QUICK! I think I've experienced every server and have never been disappointed. Amazing prices and portions. I always have 2 meals left over (but I also plan it lol). You will not be disappointed!

A fairly typical well-worn American-Greek diner. The wait staff is amazingly competent and attentive. The food, based on the breakfast items we ordered, is quite good and served in humongous portions. The outside appearance is nothing special, but it's clearly worth a stop.

Yikes...very large portions..could definitely share.. Very tastey. Ask for eggs to be cooked in butter...

Breakfast is delicious huge portions for your money and definitely share an omelet ask them to put them in butter instead of Oil... other than that all is beautiful my server was new but very helpful and very nice

This is my first time here since it was formerly "The Liberty Diner"

Spoke + Ivy (west Main Street, FW) - another locally unique dinning experience that deserves a try…read more Spoke + Ivy is located on west Main Street - across the parking lot from Redwood Inn restaurant, if that helps. This restaurant is set in an old building that used to house a pharmacy. It retains the character of the building via the hardwood interiors, tall ceilings, large window views of the street and concrete/industrial ceilings. The interior is nicely decorated with inviting green, brown wood and black accent colors. Table settings were very attractive as well. You can park in the small side lot or on the street. Reservations are easily made on line. The team is very friendly and welcoming. All set the stage for a fun and relaxing dinner experience. Spoke + Ivy has a very small food and specialty cocktail menu. This is the second time we have been here. Each time we found the food to be delicious and the cocktails are uniquely designed. Here is a run down on the food items we ordered: -Focaccia Bread: a mildly sweet, dense/firm bread, slightly airy with a touch of herbs to accent. It is cut into blocks so it is easier to share. The vodka sauce is thin in consistency with a smooth Italian seasoned tomato appeal. Both make for a deliciously simple starter. -Lobster Roll Rangoon: decided to give this a try. It comes out as one large Rangoon - not individual pieces. This means that you must awkwardly cut this shareable into pieces. The slightly crispy & oily wrapper is similar to most crab Rangoon pieces. It has a nice crisp. The inside has shredded pieces of lobster. It was not filled with creme cheese sauce like traditional rangoons - just plain. The green lemon parsley sauce was simply outstanding! It's very fresh, moderately thick and has a slightly tart taste. This added "the sauce" to what the inside of the Rangoon was lacking. -Milanese: nicely breaded chicken that was very moist. The breading is slightly sweet. The fresh bed of arugula salad is a nice add -Prime Rib Pho: this sounded really interesting. It's a smaller/healthier dish. The medium rare prime rib was sliced thin and tender. There wasn't many pieces of prime rib in this dish. The add-ins were fresh and much like you would expect from a Pho dish - just not as much volume. The broth has a chili oil base that gives it a spicier flavor. Overall we really enjoy this relaxed atmosphere and character of the building. The delicious food and cocktails are excellent.

We were seated in a very awkward corner table for two where the tables were really close together. Since it was our Valentine's celebration, I would have been uncomfortable with the tables next to us having people at them because it didn't give you any privacy or space for private conversation. We did not get drinks or appetizers. Our meals were very good (salmon and chicken). The server was good but didn't refill my water and that' a big deal to me. Also, it's supposed to be an upscale place and they were out of paper towels in the bathroom. I feel like that is just basic service they should check on regularly.

She made great recommendations and helped us decide based on our time constraints. She was attentive and gave us a lot of information about the food, live music, DJ and art for sale on all the walls. We weren't super hungry, so we tried the flatbread - sooo good. I will be back because the whole menu, including the drinks, sound wonderful. They offered zero spirit, GL and other substitutions if needed which is nice. The atmosphere has a moody, darker hang out vibe to it. I loved it and can't wait to bring some friends and family back! She recommended reservations on the weekends, especially on "First Fridays" as that's when they do events and an art crawl on Broadway when the weather is nice. We parked on the street in front of the building so I'm not sure if there is a parking lot. They do have outdoor seating as well in the front of the building. I remember when this location was a food co-op waaaaaaay back in the day. They did a great job transforming it into a relaxing bar and restaurant. But then you're presented with this shiny chandelier, illuminating this wide chamber, and hovering over a smooth, curved bar. The sides of this huge dining space are lined with dining tables, and walls lined with artwork, making the name quite appropriate. Subtle haloes of light dot the ceiling, and the color palette of the place (besides that big ol' chandelier) is dark, cool, and easy on the eyes. I took a seat at the main bar and was served within minutes. I enjoyed some light pop, rap, and classic rock tunes bumping in the background while I sipped on a delightful Smoked Apple Reserve. Every sip was a punch of sweetness, followed by an air of smokiness, and just a splash of herby aftertaste. It was however, not the kind of drink you could chug, so I sipped slowly throughout my meal. I'll have to come back for the appetizers, as I hear they're the star of the show, but neither the flatbreads nor the traditional bar-fare excited me. Thanks to Yelp though, I learned of the Blueberry and Brie Grilled Cheese, which I'd initially dismissed due to my dislike of Brie - the cheese and her portrayal of Captain Marvel, let's be honest. But I gave it a chance and ~woah~ it was something else. First of all, it's a perfectly cooked grilled cheese, with a flaky, crunchy exterior and addictingly cheesy inside, however I was ~taken aback~ by the flavor. I think I honestly had a Ratatouille moment, where that flavor of berry compote transported me to my childhood, chowing down on blueberry pancakes on Friday morning before school. At the same time, it doesn't dominate the flavor profile - it adds a subtle and satisfying sweetness to the creamy richness of the melted Brie, and it does it oh so well. The plentiful pieces of proscuitto provided some palatable protein, while also being a contrast in flavor and feel to the Berry and Brie. The fries were a little heavy on the straight potato flavor and not so much on seasoning and salt, but some garlic aioli did the trick there. The service was superb and the atmosphere was nothing like I've experienced in this city. I didn't expect to love this place as much as I did, but I can't wait to come back to try more apps, drinks, and return to that beautiful blueberry and brie...

Lanes are super close together (duh) so the room is limited. I recommend 2 lanes if you're doing more than 6 people. 1 hour was enough time to play one game with six people at a casual pace. Table space while you're bowling is limited so we usually bowl with drinks and a group appetizer and then move back to the tables to have an actual meal. Lots of fun with good food in a friendly atmosphere. Get the blood Mary "all dressed up" (yeah I know it's $24 but it's well worth it) We tried the Crying Johnny Smashburger (tastes like POWERS used to. IYKYK), the chicken TENDIES, and the red velvet pancakes they have for brunch. Ducky's - duck pin bowling is fun, but is the food good?…read more Ducky's advertises themselves as a scrap kitchen. So...it should be good, right? They don't have a very big menu. There are five entrees to go along with a small amount of burger, chicken tender and appetizer choices. I went with the burger of the month - the pizza burger. The friendly waiter said the pizza sauce was made in house from scratch. The sauce was outstanding! It was thick and sweet with a bold tomato paste taste. The bun was soft and slightly grilled with a buttery flavor - very nice! It is odd that the burger is served in halves and vertical. The burger patty was very thin and cooked to a medium well done consistency - I would prefer medium rare but they didn't ask my preference. I thought the burger was over cooked and a bit tough/crunchy on the edges. It did have and nice high quality meat flavoring as it is sourced locally. The burger was covered with grilled pepperoni. This added a nice "pizza" flavor when combined with a nice bedding of mozzarella cheese. My wife really liked her chicken tenders. They were nice and moist. The breading was unique, tasty and crispy. She said the fries were very good while the best part might have been the house fry dipping sauce. That sauce was a nice combination of southwest and traditional meat flavorings. The side salad, to replace the fries, was fresh yet very small. The salad came in a half-ball type dish that was slightly larger than half a baseball. The half ball was actually unstable to eat out of. I had to cup the bowl with one hand to keep it from tipping over. The salad had a few side tomato and pepper parts added. There just isn't much room for things in this small of a dish. We decided to try the strawberry bread pudding for dessert. This was a fantastic dish! The breading was basically two pieces of fried French toast. It was soft on the inside with a cinnamon swirl and strawberry pieces. The breading was drizzled with a thin moderately sweet strawberry flavored syrup. The syrup was accompanied by some fresh whipped cream also bathed in syrup. Overall, Ducky's does have good food. They have a limited menu at moderately expensive prices. My preference would be to sit down and enjoy the scratch made items versus squeezing them in while you bowl. Also consider dinning at Ducky's and walking across the street the Pearl Arts Center for a program.

The staff here was very friendly and helpful for us first timers. pasta di Guy is a step up from mall food and a step below an Italian dine in restaurant that specializes in Italian food. It's not Fazoli's...but it's not Casa's, Ziano's or Salvatori's either. We started with the breadsticks. You basically get two 6" sticks for $2. The bread was soft on the inside and has a slight crunch/crisp on the outside. There was a slight butter and garlic taste to the outside. Overall...okay. Only six inches of breadstick left you wanting more. My wife really liked her Caprese Wrap. This mirrored the Caprese salad quite a bit. The salad was fresh with plenty of arugula. The balsamic vinegar drizzle was very tasty - dark and rich. The tomatoes were foreshadowing like the cheese and lettuce. The cheese had a nice mild taste but I found it very difficult to cut. The salad bowl shape makes it difficult to eat the beautifully presented cheese, tomatoes and drizzle without cutting them into pieces. I had the spaghetti and meatballs. I love spaghetti and meatballs and get this about every where I go. This entree ran about $13 for a medium portion of pasta. There were five small meatballs in the dish. I found the pasta to be perfectly cooked. Easily cut with the plastic knife and tasty. There was not enough marinara sauce to accent the dish. It was thin in volume and made it difficult to bring out good Italian flavors. There wasn't enough Parmesan cheese to give the sauce some added flavor. However they will give you as many packets of cheese as you like. The meatballs were moist and cooked about right to give them some firmness. They weren't out of the Hormel meatball bag...however they didn't have much spice to give it more flavor. I was pleased that I could cut them into lots of pieces and have a bit of meatball with most bits of pasta.
