Came here with coworkers on a Wednesday night for dinner and I enjoyed my meal. I ordered the hummus with beef entree, which came with a choice of soup or salad to start, and then rice or fries to go with it. I elected for the soup (lentil soup) and fries. I liked everything, but the hummus was the star of the show. It was really tasty to dip the French fries into. The beef was tender and the fries were hot. My only constructive feedback is that it was a little quiet in there, so some background music wouldn't hurt. Our waitress was quite nice and helpful. A true hidden gem in Coldwater! An unassuming storefront leads to a decadent dining experience. The service is top notch- our server was attentive, friendly and great to explain anything we had a question on. As a vegetarian I found wonderful options and my husband couldn't decide as everything sounded wonderful! The Garlic Sauce Appetizer starts your meal off perfectly and it is full of flavor. I enjoyed appetizers trio- everything was fresh and danced on my palate. My husband thought the chicken was perfectly season and the rice was a special treat. Let me start with, the service was amazing. This is a family owned restaurant serving Middle Eastern food. I've never had food from the Middle East before and this was absolutely amazing. Couldn't begin to eat all the was served, but I happily took a to-go box. If I ever have the pleasure of visiting Coldwater again I will definitely be eating at Shawarma Station. The staff were very nice. The food was very flavorful and good portions! The place is simple and a chill place to come eat or to grab to go.

I went for lunch with a a group of ladies. Food and service was very good and ambiance is nice and clean! Not knowing what to expect (I've had Mediterranean food before, but not there) I ordered the Chicken Shawarma with a salad and fries. The fries were perfectly crispy, the salad had a bit too much red onion for me (I don't care for raw onion), but had a nice vinegar and olive oil dressing on it. As for the chicken shawarma, it was very good, lots of flavor. Just a heads up, the cuisine is loaded with LOTS of garlic. I would definitely go back! Wish I had taken a picture, but I didn't. Maybe next time. I'm giving it a 5 despite all the onions in my salad. read more

From the road, this place looks like a little hole in the wall eatery. Once you step inside, you'll see beautiful tiling, a dessert case that makes you drool. You'll be seated in a large room with beautiful wood details and served pita bread with an epic garlic dipping sauce. We ordered the shish kabobs dinner platter and the hummus with shawarma chicken. Servings are plentiful, the food was phenomenal, our server was incredibly attentive. My expectations were greatly exceeded! Great tasting food served up fast at a reasonable price. I've gotten Take-Out food there twice and was not disappointed in any way. The place was clean, well kept, and good structural shape. I've been to their Sturgis location and this is my new favorite place. All the staff is SO kind and their food is amazing. You can't go wrong with anything you order. First of all, I love Middle Eastern food especially when I am in Dearborn or Detroit. I was excited when Shawarma Station opened. My first experience was their second week open and I simply tried both the chicken and beef shawarma wraps. Unfortunately the meat in both were dry, leathery and sparse. Obviously reheated meat cooked days ago. I didn't write a review to give them time to work out the details. It has now been about 6 months later and again unfortunately the chicken and beef in the Hummus entrees were both very dry and chewy. The picture shows what I left on the plate. The dinner salad was great. The garlic sauce was excellent but the pita was dry, cold, and stale served from the fridge in a baggie. They did a great job on the inside of the building but, it lacks any wall decor and the floor was dirty. Service was prompt and efficient. Price was high especially for low quality and the amount of food. I guess this explains why the place was empty on a weekend night. I might try again in a few months if they are still open.
