Food was fine. However, If you're expecting authentic middle eastern food, this isn't it.
I ordered a chicken shawarma bowl,
It came with plain rice, 4 small pieces of chicken, kosher pickles (since when does that go with Shawerma?) and slices of yellow onion and a smear of garlic sauce.
Where's the arabic pickles or the pickled red onion? Or any of the flavor that comes with shawerma?
The knefah was cold and didn't taste fresh. I asked for it to be warmed up and it was microwaved for ten seconds and given back to me. Not the workers fault, it seems like she wasn't properly informed on that part. If you're looking for food to fill your belly with no expectations of middle eastern flavor, this works. If you've had arabic food anywhere, don't expect the same here.
I was really looking forward to this place too because the Lebanese place before it was really good and I thought this would be an improvement, not a downgrade. I hope they make some changes to be a little more authentic in the future read more
