My family's go too restaurant currently. We have a picky 82 year old matriarch, 2 neurodivergent 20 somethings, and family of different tastes and needs coming to town to visit. They have a Big menu, the most friendly, helpful waitresses, and wonderful atmosphere. There's tons of room with big tables. It's not noisy so you can relax and talk with people at your table. We have eaten here many times, and left at least one five-star review, but quit coming 3-4 years ago. Wife and I came back a couple weeks ago, got a pizza and it was better than their pizzas used to be. Brought friends back today (four of us) and ordered a pizza and four soft drinks. Waitperson (Gracelyn) was personable, pleasant, and pretty efficient (she did forget one side of sauce and handed each drink to us with her fingers over the top of the glass, but... ). Concern came with check, where two of us had refills and were charged for refills, without being told (six drink charges for us at $3/each). We also had a large pizza with two items on all of it and two other items, each on only half. We were charged $2.75 for each item, even those we only got on half. So, our bill for a pizza and four soft drinks, was $48.69. Not wanting to stiff the waitress, we left ten bucks for her. When we questioned the soft drink refills, we were told, that's how i was trained, to ring up refills the same. We paid almost sixty bucks for a pizza and four soft drinks. We don't mind paying for good food and good service, but this was a little disappointing. A coke costs, what, a nickel or dime of syrup? We paid $18 for our drinks (a coke), and $30 for a pizza. The food was good! We were seated, and ordered our food right away. When asked, our friendly server recommended the Broadway Melt and the Ultimate. Per reviews I upscaled to the Brew fries. The food came out piping hot. Both sandwiches were stacked with meat and had a lot of flavor. The Brew fries almost had a malt vinegar (?) taste that I savored. We ordered take-out, which consisted of; The veggie grinder with added pepperoni (side of fries) & the Philly grinder (side of fries), as well as two pepsis. Our total was $27, which seemed a little pricey. (We recently went to another sandwich place & were able to get two 6 inch hot subs, 2 bags of chips & 2 pepsis for $11!) The veggie grinder was good, messy. No real complaints. My husband thought the Philly was also good but that the meat lacked flavor. The big issue? Fries. The fries were awful. No seasoning whatsoever & limp. Thank goodness they threw in ketchup packets because I don't think either of us could have eaten the fries otherwise. To pay that much for the meal and have something as basic as fries lack seasoning & substance was disappointing. It was noon so they had their lunch rush happening and other takeout orders so I understood they were busy. The staff I talked to were all great to me. Even though they were runnin around like crazy, they all stopped to see if I had been helped and if I needed anything. They apologized over and over for my wait and they were all genuinely great to me. We were told noon to come pick it up and I didn't leave until 12:20ish. So they were definitely behind in the kitchen. However, the girl that I first spoke too at noon when I got there said my pizza was up there with a few other orders and they were hurryin to finish the rest. So part of our order sat for 20+ minutes. Let's just say that my taco pizza wasn't about that waiting life. I will be adding photos to this so you will see what I thought I ordered vs what I got lol. The flavor was decent tho. Everyone's food was in the bags with plastic utensils and sauces. They had the order completely right and I'm sure they would've helped me out to my truck if they hadn't been so busy. My personal rating: Service: 10/5. Taco Pizza: 1. Last night I decided to go grab a late dinner since I was stuck in town for the night. My waitress was great. She was super sweet, genuine, friendly, and assertive. I never felt like I had to wait for her, but also never felt like she was too much. Everyone I came into contact with last night were awesome just like on Tuesday, except all of them were different I believe. That's an awesome thing for a restaurant to have. Now my food. I ordered mozzarella sticks. 3 stars ish. They were the average frozen mozzarella sticks like you get at Applebee's. The marinara sauce was freezing cold, definitely not a fan of it like that, but the flavor was great and I imagine if it had been at least room temperature, I would be obsessed with it lol. I ordered the Scott's Burger. 10/5 stars for sure. It was cooked to order. (Medium). It was spot on. Tasted just like I had imagined or better even. I highly recommend you gettin this burger if you love bacon burgers. I'm wishin I had one right now lol. It comes with fries or soup. I asked for a tossed salad. We had a good meal yesterday at the Broadway Grille. It was a quiet Sunday afternoon but Taylor was very friendly and accommodating and waited on us right away. In spite of our many questions, Taylor remained upbeat and helped up navigate the menu choices. The meals were all good. We did gooey, cheesy, garlicky bread from the special card (yum), pizza, Mexican, pulled pork and onion rings. The portions were huge so to go boxes left with us. My boyfriend had the cinnamon apple pie drink and he enjoyed it for the most part. We ordered the mozzarella sticks for an appetizer. They were more on the pricy side for only 6 of them. They were delicious though. I ordered the 12oz steak and got a side of the mashed potatoes. The steak wasn't very well seasoned. The mashed potatoes were meh. I also got the French onion soup and it didn't have much flavor either. My boyfriend got the chicken strips and fries. He said they were pretty bland. It seemed to be a theme for the food. We came here on a Tuesday around 3:30pm. We were promptly seated and received our first round of drinks. Then, we didn't see our waitress for a solid 15 minutes when she came to take our order. Got another round of drinks and didn't see her until she brought the food out a good 40 minutes later. Keep in mind, we were literally the only ones in the restaurant. We ordered 2 burgers, grilled bbq chicken sandwich and the daily special which was an open face roast beef. The special was drowning in gravy but tasted fantastic. My chicken sandwich was good, fortunately I did get the bbq sauce on the side. The 2 burgers were ordered medium rare and came to us as hockey pucks. Pretty sure the cook forgot about them on the grille do to the char on one side of both burgers, but served them anyways. Overall experience was not good. Found this place while in the area. Never knew it was there because it was off a little side street and hard to see at first. It looks like an old firehouse or something. When I got inside it was way bigger than it looked from outside. Tried one of their own beers, raspberry wheat, which was good and we tried a couple of their pizzas. The pizzas were both really good and the service was good too. Worth a visit if you're in the area. read more

We were seated right away and our drink orders taken. 12 minutes later still no drinks. I had to go to the bar and ask for service. Hostess/bartender/waitress(nameless) said she would get us a waitress and told me Liz would be our waitress. She couldn't remember what drink order we gave her so we reordered. Drinks came and still no Liz so we gave our order to the nameless person. This nameless person apologized at least a dozen times saying it was 100% her fault and we shouldn't hold the restuarant responsible. Guess what, I hold everyone from wait staff, cook, hostess and owners responsible for my experience. The food was decent. I had the Broadway Melt and unfortunately it came on Texas Toast. The shrimp Alfredo is far from Alfredo, the noodles are thin spaghetti noodles that came clumped together because of the thick sauce. I was not impressed with our experience. We had lunch on a Wednesday at lunch time. They were not busy at all. We sat at the bar and it took about 45 minutes to get our food. We had trouble getting our waitress's attention to get a 2nd drink. The food was good, but when we received our bill, my boyfriend's jack and coke was charged as a shot of coke and then charged extra for the coke. The waitress said she would "give me the money back", but my bill was never adjusted and I never "got any money back". We definitely will not be back!!! The food was good, but the service SUCKED!! The Broadway Grille has potential, but overall I would rate it as just ok. We visited on a Saturday night in July @ 8:30pm and were seated promptly since there were few patrons there, but ample wait staff. I ordered the 1/2 slab of baby back ribs and my wife had a sizzler steak. The ribs were well seasoned, but were rather tough. The garlic smashed potato that accompanied the ribs had good flavor. My dinner was $16, but felt a bit overpriced for the dish given the lackluster ribs. My wife's steak had good flavor, but there was nothing unique or review-worthy to share. One of my kids ordered the fish & chips basket. The pollock was lightly breaded and had acceptable flavor; however, the French fries had a very unusual flavor that didn't appeal to anyone at our table. My other child had the kids mac & cheese, which appeared to be run of the mill Kraft with some extra grated cheese melted on top. She was happy with that. The waitress we had was pleasant and attentive and the restaurant was clean and tastefully decorated. Total bill with tip was $58 (no drinks). I may visit again and try a burger, but probably would opt for another venue if I'm in the mood for something more substantial. read more
