The Stables - Bars Near Me - Quincy, Michigan

Wife and I spent $70 for a hamburger, bologna sandwich, one pop, one water and two slices of pie. The food was okay but really just bar food. My daughter and her husband with three kids spent $135. Their pricing is whack. The pie was delicious. You can get the same bar food for half as much anywhere. read more

Brought friends from Chicago and tried The Stables. Their food was not what they ordered but asked to speak to the manager or owner. They brought the correct order after we had to wait for 20 minutes to get it. The food wasn't cooked correctly. We spoke to the owner ( I believe her name was Julie) and she was extremely disresptfull and had a very rude and a loud mouth. You need to do better Julie (or whatever your name is). You're the owner! Show respect or your going to lose even more paying customers than you already have. I definitely recommend not eating at this establishment!!! read more

The only good thing about my experience here was leaving so I didn't have to listen to the excessively loud employees cackle and make inappropriate comments. The staff was uninterested in helping my husband, who is a DISABLED VETERAN, and I into an area that was easily accessible for him. We overheard servers fighting over who had to wait our table, since "the tips suck anyway" and they were "ready to get lit" when they were done. I cannot tell you how the food is since I did not eat my burger after witnessing our waitress wipe her nose with her hand and proceed to serve me my plate. Would not honor any sort of military discount. Will never return to this repulsive establishment. read more

The food isn't bad. I think it really depends on what you order. The southwest wrap isn't bad, but the amount of ingredients inside the wrap doesn't seem to fit the $10 I spent to get it. The guy who waited on me was super friendly and had great manners. The older lady, wasn't very friendly at all. I think if you aren't a regular or with a regular, you aren't top priority to her. That's just my take on it. She seemed fine with everyone else inside. They all do a turn around and stare when you walk through the door. Side note. Use cash. They have a sign by the cash register that they charge 4% to every bill if you use card. They don't say it out loud to you tho. read more

See all

Service was slow at 1:30pm. Not many people in the building. Dark and dingy dining area

Last minute they were able to seat our large group...the food was great and came out quickly. Will defiantly stop again

Great food and service. You have to try the fried perch dinner. Great proportions and delicious fish. Nice little hometown atmosphere.

Great place with good food. Normally come on a Thursday for the perch dinner/basket. Have a variety menu with Mexican food, bar food, salads and pizza. If you're ever in Quincy, it's worth a stop. read more

The staff was friendly, attentive, grateful, and attentive. The food was very good. Had taco fries and could eat them forever. The ambiance is an old-fashioned, small-town bar which I thoroughly enjoyed. Very clean, great booths, dark wood, etc. I would go to Stables again in a heartbeat. read more

This seems to be the place girls go after trying on wedding dresses since its right next door to one of the biggest wedding dress retailers around. Always groups if girl's here from a wedding party. Food is decent and service is good. They have great tasting burgers and dogs and if you order a side of frys be warned because its enough to feed 2! read more

The Stables - a bar with people sitting at the bar - Bars Near Me - Quincy, Michigan

We had a great meal at The Stables. My wife and a cheeseburger and fries and I had a beef and bean burrito. Very good.

Beer is cold, loaded fries weak but do have. Burgers and rest of meals looked good but don't try. They do have Keno. N

This place has awesome Mexican food. I crave the taco salad and hot sauce. Nachos and burritos are great too. The staff are friendly and inefficient. Nothing fancy, just good bar food and beverages. read more

HIGHLY DISAPPOINTING & HIGHLY DISSATISFIED Had the absolute worst and rudest service ever this afternoon here at the stables. The woman was very rude. Kinda tossed/dropped the silverware and menus on the table. NEVER offered a refill. NEVER smiled. And as soon as her daughter and granddaughter came in she started smiling (with her family), and acted like her other tables didn't exist any longer. I highly doubt I'll ever return due her and her awful body language and rude demeanor. Used to be a great place...not anymore! read more

Stables is seriously the best all around. No matter what you get, it's delicious. The waitresses and crew are amazing and it feels like a big family any time you eat there. And on top of the service inside. Their carry out is just as good. Bre Shafer read more

I just ate the most amazing beef and bean burrito! It was stuffed so full beef, beans, tomatoes, onions,, black olives and lettuce that I took half of it home to eat as my dinner! I've had their nachos before and they were awesome!!! The waitresses are always smiling and fun to joke around with. Its a nice quiet bar to take your hubby or wife. read more

CLOSED and up for sale. Drove 50 miles just to find it empty with a for sale sign in the window.

What does Stables last night. The food was cold service is horrible the owner was yelling at waitresses in front of everyone. The other waitress if you heard the way they talk to some of the customers I would have been embarrassed I was embarrassed. I've been going to stables for years. I was with a group of people as last time we will go there. I'm a local so I know the restaurant used to be a fun place to go after you are out on the Lake. What about people that are from out of town and just looking for a place to eat it looks like a disorganized disaster. read more
