The service is always excellent, and the food is absolutely amazing. Their PB&J burger is one of their best dishes.

Common Spirits is one of my favorite weekend of after-party hangouts. I love the cool atmosphere…read moreand the drinks. They are fab. All the drinks are handmade, everything from the mixers to some of the liquors are made in-house. Each drink has 2 ounces of liquor in it, yet you will only pay $6-12 for a custom drink. One of my favorites here is the Whisky Slushie, it's no longer on the menu but you can request one! There are drink specials each night as well. The owner, Jamie, can always be found behind the bar mixing and serving up drinks. This place gets PACKED on a weekend night after 9pm, usually it is standing room only at that point. Since the venue is small but the place is popular, go expecting to stand but with a good chance of snagging a chair or booth as people leave. There is not much room for large crowds. It's definitely an intimate, cozy setting with good tunes, the best mixed drinks in town, and fun people. Food! Yes, the do serve this too. They have a great bibimbap bowl and a few other selections. If you just want some snacks, I highly suggest their hummus and pita plate or their chips and dip. Homemade and delicious!

Live performances, good food, AMAZING drinks, and wonderful staff makes the drive worth it every single time! The cocktail bar has a cool story and I love that every menu item has a feeling to it. My favorite drink for the night was from their limited edition summer menu, the electric slide was perfect and refreshing (sign my petition to get my drink on the regular menu lol), my boyfriend had an old fashioned by one of the bartenders that another couple near us said makes the best, and he indeed said it was made perfectly! (Idk what that means cause I think they're gross, but ‍), the mint julep is also a must try as their signature drink, ooo and the my prerogative is pretty tasty too. Big drinker clearly, we also tried the competition cocktail made with corn!! Sounds insane, but it was actually really good!! Okay onto the food, I have no pictures of the food because I literally inhaled it all. So here's my list of must try's as the cost is pretty reasonable, so you can really try them all. Sweet heat chicken flatbread Collard green dip Honey lemon pepper chicken salad (SOOO GOOD!!!) Peach cobbler cornbread Get my exact order and maybe a few other items and I promise you'll have love them too, can't wait to go back!

The business regularly advertises a Free Bowling Wednesday event that takes place every Wednesday…read moreand encourages people to come starting at 4 PM. We arrived exactly at 4 PM after seeing this weekly promotion on social media. Upon arrival, the venue was empty, yet we were completely denied access to bowling due to a private event, and told that no bowling customers would be allowed until 6 PM. Before anything else, I want to clarify an important point: "Free" does not mean customers should be treated poorly. Free events are often meant to introduce people to a business, attract new customers, and create a welcoming first impression. Offering something for free does not justify rude behavior, dismissive communication, or shifting responsibility onto customers. Respect and basic courtesy should apply regardless of whether an event is paid or free. What bothered me most was not being turned away, but the blame-shifting that followed. When a business publicly advertises "Free Bowling Wednesdays" and encourages people to show up at 4 PM, it is reasonable for customers to rely on that information. Adding the word "limited" on social media posts does not communicate that no bowling customers are allowed at all until 6 PM due to a private event. Those are two very different messages. Instead of acknowledging the lack of clear communication, the responsibility was shifted onto us as customers with statements like "you should have called." This is unfair. Customers should not be expected to double-check an advertised public event by phone when no such instruction was mentioned. What made the experience more disappointing was the lack of empathy no apology, no ownership of the confusion, and no attempt to acknowledge how frustrating it is to arrive on time to an empty venue and still be denied entry. This review is not about complaining. It's about accountability. Clear communication and basic courtesy go a long way, and this situation could have been handled very differently with a simple acknowledgment and apology.

This place has tons of potential, but a lack of communication. Had they informed me that a shorter bowl would result in me getting in sooner, I would've selected a shorter timespan. Either way, I decided to give them a chance, selected a seltzer (the cheapest at around .35 cents/ounce) and my drink came out to $10! It left me confused. Then proceed to go drink and watch the bowlers and there were 3 open lanes out of 4. For 20+ minutes, not a single group came in to bowl. As I was watching, it became increasingly clear that the host at the entrance wasn't trained to ensure everyone gets a chance, or for clear communication. Only positive? My drink was good, the few customers in there seemed to enjoy themselves. Just don't come to bowl, you wont get in. Look at the previous reviews, I am not the first to complain about this. Also, it looks like whomever is supposed to be checking these reviews doesn't care as there seem to be no responses to rectify these issues.

Now to the real part of why this is 1 star, we ordered food around 6:05 no big deal it was going to take about 20 mins, so we drove into town about 10 minutes out. We got the call from the hostess stating they did not have the pulled pork tacos anymore (this was a weird phone call and interaction), we then placed a different order in, which is no big deal and I figured it would delay the food to come out. I went in and waited about 15-20 minutes for the food to come out. I paid and left (they also had one side of the bar closed, which was kind of strange for a Friday night). Got home with the food and we ordered 3 orders of the fish and chips, an order of the Baja fish tacos, and newly changed, smoked Turkey Reuben. Apparently the menu was changed to just one6 oz piece of fish, instead of 2 3 oz pieces, which honestly you should have 2 6 oz pieces because it is kind of ridiculous to have one piece of fish of fish an chips, I feel the standard is even having 3 pieces at most restaurants. We called the manager and she was polite and understood the situation and gave us a full refund. I just think for the owners, you guys really have to rethink this menu sometimes. Like one piece of fish is not enough to feed a person, 2 pieces minimum should be the requirement.

Nice atmosphere, which I appreciated because we are lacking a nice place to go now that the Cabin is gone. But, although we were dressed nicely, a family came in and looked they they just got done doing yardwork and I saw way too much of their teenage daughter's a$$ because of her short shorts. They need to decide if they are fine dining or come as you are. Our server never asked if we wanted another drink or dessert (not sure if they even do dessert because no mention of it), and we had to ask for more water, a box, and our check after sitting and waiting for our server to reappear. A table of four next to us walked out because no server approached them after 15 mins. They asked how our service and meal were and we told them to save themselves so they left. The menu is on the wall (wth) and I found out they serve fish as I was leaving and saw another chalkboard on another wall (it was behind me as I sat so I didn't know it was there until leaving). I don't know what it is about these owners but they just can't get it together! They reinvent the restaurant about every year when they should be working on training servers and preparing decent food. We will NOT be back and will steer friends away from a disaster of a night like we had.
