The Lamplighter lounge was a nice little joint in the heart of Coldwater. We googled places to eat and it popped up and we read reviews on there and yelp and said why not. We met the new owners who were super nice. Service was fantastic and their olive burger was the best I have ever have. We got that and instead of fries we chose cheese curds as our side. Between our food and the few drinks we had plus tip, totally worth it to check out. read more

Their wings used to be amazing. But the last order I had was not. The wings were so overcooked and when we brought it to the attention of staff, we were told that just how we make them now. I asked if I could just pay for a five piece meal instead of the ten piece I ordered, but instead I paid full price and they tossed my wings in the garbage. Stopped in while overnighting in town. Don't let the exterior of the building deter you from going in it's a "lounge" and looks like one. The food was excellent! My wife had wings ...she tends to be a wing snob...she loves their wings! I had the fried fish it was awesome ...lightly breaded and fried perfect the tartar sauce was so delicious and they had hot sauce on the table. Beers were cold and inexpensive. The special for the day was a 4 piece broasted chicken dinner for $10 . We seen several of them being served and they looked great with nice big pieces of chicken. We had wings, fish dinner and two large beers all for just $26. Lastly the young lady serving and tending bar was so friendly and genuinely seemed to appreciated us being there and satisfied with our food. read more

We were in town for a wedding and stopped in here Friday Night. If the new owner struggled before he has it figured out now. Me and my fiancé both got burgers and we both said it was the best burger we've had in a long time. The hand cut fries were a thinner cut, delicious and well cooked which seems like a gimme but I've have plenty of hand cut fries that were raw in the middle at other places. There was wait for food but the quality we received was phenomenal and gives you chance to have a couple cocktails and relax. I never understood why people go out to eat when they are in a hurry anyway you don't have anywhere to be. Cocktail prices were on point also. I'd highly recommend checking it out. read more

Since they reopened after Covid I feel like they are running smoother. I wish they had more consistent hours which I had been by during their "open hours" which are posted but found them to be closed. Overall they are a good place to visit in coldwater. read more

I've been going to this bar for a long. New ownership has driven it to the pits. SLOW service & poor food.

If you want to wait 50 minutes for your food on a more than half empty restaurant then this place is for you. The manager Makenzie never came over to us in the 50 minute wait. We called her over to us twice to get an update on our food. She finally brought our food, which was good, and said she would comp the meal. BYW- my husband asked for silverware and was told it was all dirty and the best they could do was a carry out plastic set. Then she appears with a bill and took off the senior discount for us. Wow! Funny is my husband already qualifies for that deal. Sad but they lost frequent customers over this! read more

I'm originally from Kalamazoo but have lived in Nevada for years. Back in town visiting , We wanted to have a few drinks and Thought about the local bars. There were only 2 other people in the bar, I was not greeted nor did we feel welcome! The bar tender was not a happy guy. Didn't want to name off his beers after poured informed me that they didn't take cash. I had to go to the atm. Anyways just not a welcoming place. Would not return or recommend sadly. read more

Mediocre. I've been here twice and each time I've had bad service. The wait staff is not friendly at all. The up side this time was there was a pretty decent cover band playing tonight. They had a few beers on tap and had standard bar food. I tried the feta and chips which was this really yummy hummus feta dip with pita chips!
