We visited Love, Pasta for the first time last night and really enjoyed our experience. The food was amazing, from the brussel sprouts appetizers to the mushroom pasta, and then the pasta on special. Ridge and his wife, the owners, really know their stuff and have thought of every single detail here. We started with the love bread, bruschetta and Cesar salad...all delicious and plenty to share. For entrees we had the pasta bolognese, pesto and veg and algio olio. Everything was unreal. Perfectly cooked al dente pasta with fresh unique flavors that aren't over powering. The Italian bottle of wine was amazing, so full of flavor with a great mouth feel. We tasted all the desserts and I'd highly recommend the raspberry sorbet and lemon curd. Overall this is a 10/10 and I'm so happy to have this option in Jackson. Heartfelt noods is an understatement. read more

I just got back from a trip to Rome so the bar was set high when I visited Love,Pasta. They did not disappoint! Had the Cesars Salad - was spot on. I wish I could give it a 3.5 or closer to a 4. Small place in an odd location and setting. Started with a drink that was very mediocre. I would say a very minimalist menu. The waitress didn't make us aware of the special. We overheard the table next to being told about the special. We received the wrong appetizer but was brought up here correct one after we pointed it out. The love bread was just okay. The bruschetta was superb! The mains dish was good but lacking. We both had the Mac and cheese with short rib. The portions were very small. The noodles had barely any sauce or cheese. The short rib was great. Overall the attention to details left us with a so so feeling. It's very unfortunate as the bruschetta combined with a slightly better main would have been a great meal. I think we will give them another shot but not anytime soon. read more

Our 3rd visit to Love,Pasta and it has been outstanding each time! The pastas are all made in house and all sauces are made from scratch. We have not been disappointed with anything we have ordered and have tried almost everything on their small menu. Tonight for appetizers we ordered our 2 favorites to share the Aglio Olio pasta, a very simple and exquisitely done pasta with olive oil and generous fresh garlic and their unique Caprese salad that features a delicious pesto sauce with cherry tomatoes and fresh mozzarella. For our entrees both the gnocchi with a vodka cream sauce and the Chicken Parm were delicious. Our server was attentive and able to answer our questions about the menu on the spot and the food came out of the kitchen in a timely manner. Entree prices are very moderate with only one the delicious Chicken Parm over $20. This is a wonderful and needed addition to the Jackson dining scene. read more

And if you think "Olive Garden" is Italian, stay away from this place. You'll get no endless gut-bombing breadsticks or iceberg salad. This menu is a la carte. Whether you're the Bolognese type, or you crave the modest yet satisfying aglio e olio, you'll be quite satiated. Take advantage of a wonderful wine selection, ranging from a well-crafted California Cabernet Sauvignon to a Michigan sparkling to some robust, Sicilian-based fruity wines, and all that's missing is the red-checked table cloths...not required of course. Some nice appetizers as well, including a well constructed Caesar salad and roasted Brussels sprouts. This place is clean, urban, and hipster, but any boomer who wants a tummy-massaging plate of carbs is going to appreciate the place. Attentive, experienced staff and owners who have experience in sophisticated markets. All in all, Love, Pasta is a welcome addition to the greater Jackson community. Bravo! Molto bene! read more
