Mostly extended weekends when everyone is back in town to see family and friends. During the day, week, and a lot of weekends, it's just your typical less populated dive. They only accept cash, so you have to be prepared for that, but the drinks are ridiculously cheap and they don't skimp on the pour to make up for it. Cocktails... not really their specialty. This place is used to beer drinking regulars and people who want their liqueur straight up. They'll make you one, just don't have high expectations because this is not that kind of bar. There is a pool table and bar food. No full kitchen so the menu isn't overly impressive, but booze is more of their specialty. The staff is older and can be kind of crotchety, but that's usually if it's one of the crazy nights that all these young kids randomly show up. They weren't that kind of bar, I don't think the staff knows why these kids keep coming back, and they are slowly learning to embrace it. If you're a laid back person, looking for a cheap drink and a random conversation with a stranger at the bar, this is your kind of place. I've met some really off the wall folks and the regulars can keep you entertained for hours if you strike up a conversation with one... don't expect half of their tales to be true, but enjoy the ride.

I ordered a wet burrito, my husband two tacos and our friend also ordered a burrito. Our server was nice enough but my issue comes from the fact that we arrived at approximated 1:10 and our good still wasn't served when I told our server that my lunch would need to be put in a bag to go because it's at that point 1:50 and I had to return to work. He told us "it's coming right now" which it really wasn't. I had to take my lunch as soon as he came out of the kitchen with it. My husband told me they still didn't get their food for at least 15 more minutes AFTER I left. He said the only thing the server said was that our friends burrito was 'very difficult to make'... My husbands TWO TACOS were cold, my burrito had barely any chicken in it, the burrito was tiny! We definitely will not be returning. It's as though the customers are a second thought, behind making sure a table was cleaned over keeping tabs on our lunch order.

When their friend arrived, said waitress approached the table and asked if the newcomer wanted a plate to share in the pizza. When she was told no, she immediately turned and walked away instead of asking the newcomer if she might want a drink: again, the customers were forced to chase her down. Her excuse, as she looked at the customer as if she were some sort of insect in her lipgloss tube, was that she thought the newcomer had just come from another table--where on earth did she get that idea? Emily, said waitress, CLEARLY had no time to wait on women whom she felt for some reason were not worth her time nor the generous tip she would have received had she not acted like she was in a hurry to get rid of said customers. She did just that when she realized she had screwed up but wanted to assume zero accountability. Thank you, Olivia, for taking over. Training tip: Emily might be young and BLONDE, but elders sisters are more experienced and might teach her a thing or two. A few crow's feet does not make us insignificant nor unempowered. Men who objectify you are not the only ones who tip. How does this reviewer know? Because 40 years ago another older woman taught her this lesson when she had made the same mistake. Pay attention: to your tables, your customers, and your attitude. As for Mancino's in general, this restaurant has quality food, great cocktails, and hard-working staff otherwise.
