    Love Pasta Jackson Michigan
    Leland B.

Top level elegance with hometown touch: Owners (and workers) Muriel and Ridge, and chefs, Jason and Patrick, bring the refinement of handmade pasta and craft cocktails from their origins in Las Vegas to "Fergusons Corners" in Jackson Summit Township in a home-kitchen-like most comfortable atmosphere. We are always assured of an excellent evening. A great treasure in Jackson.

So happy for Jackson to have such an amazing Italian dining experience. Super quaint spot with such great service. Franziska was the best...so friendly, attentive and great recommendations. Ridge and his wife, the owners, really know their stuff and have thought of every single detail here. We started with the love bread, bruschetta and Cesar salad...all delicious and plenty to share. For entrees we had the pasta bolognese, pesto and veg and algio olio. Everything was unreal. Perfectly cooked al dente pasta with fresh unique flavors that aren't over powering. The Italian bottle of wine was amazing, so full of flavor with a great mouth feel. We tasted all the desserts and I'd highly recommend the raspberry sorbet and lemon curd. Overall this is a 10/10 and I'm so happy to have this option in Jackson. Heartfelt noods is an understatement.

Service was really good! Everyone really nice and helpful. We tried the Chicken parm, Bolognese, and Ricotta gnocchetti with added chicken. All flavorful, but I did think the marinara was a little on the runny side for the chicken parm. Overall, good experience!

The food is incredible!!! Handmade pasta and sauces. Love the quiant atmosphere. Drinks are top notch be sure to order a Paper Plane if you enjoy bourbon it's the Italian version of an Old Fashioned. Cannot say enough good things about the Burrata and Tomato appetizer and I don't even like tomatoes!!!

Within the last 4 months on 3 different occasions.I went to get the golden delicious apples and 90% of the apples that were in the bags were rotten and should have been thrown away. These are the individual apples that you bag yourself. I told one of the young ladies that was working in the produce department that the apples were bad and she said she would tell somebody. I went in the next day and the apples were still there and still rotten, so I dumped every one of the bags out on the table. This happened two. other times that the apples were rotten I dumped them out on the table and they put them back in the bags to sell. Yesterday was the last straw. I went in and bought 2 packages of ground chuck that came to about $31. I took it home dumped it into a bowl poured steak season on top of it and when I started to mix it when I noticed a smell like urine. I had my sister smell it to make sure that it wasn't just me and she also agreed that the meat smelled like urine. I took the meat back to Polly's with my receipt and spoke with Forrest who said he was the highest up in the store and he refused to give me my money back because I had put seasoning in the meat and because the date on the package had not expired yet. I even stuck my hand in the meat and pulled out. Some that did not have seasoning on it and asked him to smell it and he would not. He said he could tell by looking at it that the meat was still good. I asked him what I was supposed to do with thirty dollars worth of meat that smelled like urine and he told me I could do whatever I wanted to with it. I left this urine smelling meat on the counter at the service desk and went across the street to prime cuts and bought fresh meat. I will not shop at this store again. I will tell everyone I meet and everyone I know about this experience how I was treated and how Polly's customers are expected to accept sub par food and at the Polly's on Ferguson Road, profit comes before customers. It's very unfortunate that Forrest was put in this position and never taught how to treat customers, but that seems to be the Polly's way. Shame on you Kennedy family. I am truly embarrassed for you. TW: This place bleeds money at your expense…read more This establishment needs an overhaul and warn their customers about drinking cut off rules. Our first waitress (we went an hour before shift change) was really sweet, but our last waitress informed us about the beer/drink limit for the bar. However, our previous waitress was filling our glasses nonstop and my husband wasn't driving, I was drinking Pepsi Zero. The manager shows up after requesting her, with a major attitude and a definite need of a makeover and proceeded to inform us that there was a "companywide" limit on alcohol. First of all, you're an establishment, not a company. You have all of 2 locations. (Another group of people were walking out with us, and they also had the same problem and there words exactly were "lets go get some real drinks, ones that don't cost $14 and let's go somewhere we can actually drink." WOW!) On a side note, why do you have more than 5 host/hostesses (who are all on their phones, even though they're not "supposed to be")? You need 2-3. Why do you have 30-50 waitstaff for an establishment that warrants 10 at best? Do you enjoy bleeding money? If you're looking for a job where you can stand around and do nothing all day this is the place for you. We won't be returning to any of your "company" establishments. BTW you're in Jackson, NOT Ann Arbor. ***Update*** They informed us that the waitstaff decides if someone "appears" intoxicated. Managers will back up their waitstaff at all costs, even if that includes losing business. Therefore, the second waitress stated to the manager that he "appeared" intoxicated due to the number of beverages he had consumed, yet she was unable to provide any evidentiary support as to what "he appeared intoxicated" means. In other words, this is discriminatory nature of practice based solely on the number of alcoholic beverages you've consumed. BTW if you want a really good dinner go to Burger King down the street. Their food is better!

When I walked in, I noticed a wall of coolers for a variety of drinks (from Faygo, Juices, pop, etc), as well as a large chalk board menu and dessert case. There is also plenty of indoor seating as well as a bright interior. I walked up to the counter and gave my name, paid and had a seat. It took a little longer than expected but between walk in ordering and phone calls, I can tell they were busy. When I got home, the sub was huge - it had 4 large meatballs on it that were perfectly cooked... it was an excellent meatball sub and my husband (picky eater) agreed. We will definitely be going back to order other specials, especially the Zuppa Tuscano (soup). Highly recommend and prices are beyond reasonable for the quality and portion.

So she googled bbq restaurants and found this joint. It was a little off our path but worth it. This is not your typical restaurant but it does have seating indoors and out. You order at the counter then get your food and sit down. The noise level is moderate inside because it's one open space with the cooks, service counter, and line of people waiting to order or get their food. There's also music playing. The nice thing is you can sit outside at a covered picnic table if you choose. They cook the food in smokers located just outside the restaurant. The meats served are brisket, ribs, turkey, sausage, burnt ends, and pork. I choose a platter with three meats - brisket, turkey, and burnt ends. The brisket was so tender and tasty! My fav! The burnt ends were good too but a few of mine were too burnt (hard). Those that weren't were amazing. The turkey was my least favorite but it was still very good. There are many sides to choose from along with rolls or cornbread. I picked hashbrown casserole and baked beans. The casserole had a slight spicy kick to it along with some bacon! Perfect combo of potato, cheese, and bacon. The baked beans were yummy sweet. The corn bread was the least exciting thing on my plate - just not the best I've tasted and a little dry. Generous portions are given - so much I had food to take home. If you are in the area, I definitely recommend!
