While wait-staff could be more attentive, the food here is quite good. The place is more like a standard Midwest family owned restaurant than a place specializing in anything... and that is just fine. There are not a lot of gyro options on the menu, but what is there? Huge portions and tasty. Everything there is solidly good. It isn't gourmet dining, but it is certainly above the diner standard of "hot, brown, and lots of it." You will have a satisfying meal, 'okay' service, and a price that is affordable. Try the baklava. read more

Everything that I've heard about this place was true. The service was excellent and the food was spot on. Love the fluffy soft pancakes with hot syrup. What tied it all in was the booths, and the cleanness of the place read more

Met a friend here who was in town visiting so it was a first time for me and it was great. I got the meatloaf and mashed potatoes and it was so good! The food was hot and served fresh. The service was amazing and everyone was very friendly. The restaurant was busy but not too loud and the staff kept everyone happy with their service. I enjoyed the food and even took home my leftovers to enjoy later. Can't wait to come back and try the gyros that everyone raved about. read more

Old chicken not the best all the time feels like waste of money sometimes only good to eat when fresh

Omgoodness. SO good. We were leaving town after visiting Taylor University and we needed to get some grub. The food is exceptional. The gyros are drool worthy and their taco salad... chef's kiss. The service is so sweet. And just yeah. Cannot wait to go back. They do have a lot for parking. read more

King Gyros is an excellent place to get a fantastic meal. Over the years I have tried almost every item on their menu and have never been disappointed. I often call ahead and carry out dinner for myself and my elderly mother. The service is wonderful. I would recommend the Marion King Gyros to anyone looking for a wholesome meal. read more

Great food, fast service. Always has been in the 20+ years I've eaten here. Ribs are to die for.

Amazing good food and service. Plenty to eat for the price. Highly recommend Customer Service is great. The best soups to eat. Wide variety of foods to choose from. That's where I'm going in just a little while in fact. Come join . Enjoy the atmosphere and delicious food read more

Super fast friendly service, food was great. We had a gyro, probably one of the better ones we have had.

SURPRISE! It has been "AT LEAST" 10 years & maybe 20 or more since we last ate here & I was greatly surprised! It is not a big place but it was packed. We had to walk to the very back to get the last seat available. It seemed like everyone knew each other as they all seemed to be talking across the floor. There were only 2 waitresses but they stayed very active. NOTE: Take time to look to the left of the Counter as you enter to see the "Specials" & checkout the desserts next in between the cash registers. Since the name is "King Gyros" I went with the specialty, a Gyro. Not as spicy as most Greek Gyros but the portion was huge. I ordered the Gyro Platter which is a Gyro with 2 sides. They allowed me to "evenly" substitute an order of Onion Rings for the 2 sides at no additional cost. When they brought the Gyro, it was actually 2, served deconstructed. I brought enough meat home to make at least 2 more Gyros. My wife had a Cheeseburger as it was big enough for her to have been 2 burgers. She is somewhat picky about some place being "Good" or not & she was talking about going back all the way home. I that means she considered it to be "Good!" read more

Killer Gyros! Place was super busy at 2:00 on a Friday! Not too bad a wait, funny banter between waitresses and kitchen. Great value for meals. Definitely will be going back regularly! read more

Small hole in the wall but, the best food ever! We love ordering picking up taking home uts just way to small!

Was there last Sunday. Service very bad . The food was good but very hot because it was sitting in the window to long. read more

I've been to King Gyros literally too many times to count, I remember eating here as a child and I'm still coming here for the wonderful gyros! This place is somewhat of a Marion tried and true, it isn't fancy but it is great if you're on a budget and want some tasty eats! I pretty much always get the gyro with feta combo, it's one of the best gyros I've ever eaten along with a huge order of fries. The barbecue sauce is homemade and is out of this world, arguably the best part of eating at King Gyros. I am a bit disappointed with the lack of service I've been given numerous times . I recently went for breakfast and asked for egg whites rather than eggs, just little requests like this tend to be seen as a burden to the staff even though it's always asked with a please and thank you! It definitely won't make me stop coming here though because the food is delicious, but it has dampened the experience a bit . Be sure to stop by their dessert counter on the way out and grab a slice of the Baklava, you won't regret it! read more

King Gyros - people sitting at tables in a restaurant - Greek Near Me - Marion, Indiana

Here again is a simple restaurant, but the food and service is good, along with modest pricing. A Gyro dinner is a lot to eat, but many other selections available. Pricing is decent and portions are generous. Nothing fancy inside but fitting for a neighborhood place to eat. They keep it fairly clean as well. It's an old building, but more than adequate for any time of day. read more

P. Love the Juliene salad and diet plates. Everything is good. I feel one of the best restaurants in Marion.

Really amazing food, place was super busy and the staff was getting food out with no issues. Had a turkey club and struggled to eat all of it. Prices are are amazing. Will definitely go back. Wish they would have let me but the Kings Gyros hat at the register though. Someday maybe read more

You can't go wrong with King Gyros. I have been going here for years and it never fails to impress. The staff is extremely fun and kind to returning and/or new customers! They're gyros are tasty, but the chicken salad is out of this world. The proportions are also generous. Stop by if you're in town and you want a great home cooked meal or a Greek special! read more

One of our all-time favs. Good food, ample portions, at really modest prices! The Gryos are terrific, and the breakfast items are good, too, especially then omelettes (I like feta cheese in mine). And I dare you to find a bigger, better tasting double-cheeseburger for only $4.95. Price is on point, food is consistently good! Have not been back for the Saturday:Sunday Buffett since the COVID-19 hit, but hope to get to try it again soon. read more

This restaurant has a HUGE selection of food choices. My husband and I got the gyros and fries. The gyros are very good. We also had fried zucchini with tzatziki and it was tasty. Definitely a hometown place. read more

The food was okay. The service was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! I got my coffee creamer 20 minutes after I got my coffee. I asked for butter for my toast 2 times and never got that at all. I asked for a to-go box and never got that either. I can't say the establishment itself was bad, it was just really, really bad service. read more

Gyros are full with lots of meat, but could use more onion and tomato. Booth are small so there's no leg room without kicking the person across from you. As mentioned by others, a bit dingy and dated decor but the servers are friendly, the place was filled with locals, and the gyro with very satisfying. read more

The service wasn't bad and the restaurant itself was okay. A little dingy but that's the vibe they have going. The gyros were not the best in my opinion. Not bad, but not worth getting again, I've definitely had better & they weren't my favorite read more

I recently ordered catering from king gyros for a group of 50 and they went ABOVE AND BEYOND to deliver amazing food at an incredibly affordable price. The selection was fantastic and even without trying we met the dietary preferences of some attending the event. read more

Excellent service! Very prompt and helpful. As a person who loves Mediterranean food more then anything, they have very delicious gyros

When I was a kid I grew up next to this place. We used to get the gyros combo every day. As I get older, and whenever we pass through marion I like to stop in and get the ribs/chicken combo. The food is really amazing. It's not the cleanest looking place you have ever been though. If you are passing through, and you drive by this place, its definitely a stop for a great meal. read more

Gyro was yummy and big! Looked like a bunch of people took it to go. That would be my recommendation as well.

Really could be on Diners Drive-inns and dives, as a dive but the food is so good loved it! We eat often love the New York Strip steak, and greek salad. read more

I love the chicken gyro with feta from King Gyros. It is nice to find this delicious Greek cuisine here in Marion, Indiana. The restaurant has a homey small diner feel and they have American cuisine that my kids will eat. The service has always been great too. read more

Awesome and reasonably priced! I don't get to Marion often but when I'm there this is the only place I will eat!

The menu here is so varied it will take many visits to try it all. We got and shared the Gyro Platter - a do-it-yourself gyro meal for two. We got the fries and slaw, and were pleased with both. The gyro meat was savory, and the cucumber sauce was as it should be. Unexpected were the feta cubes and pickle spear. My wife was pleased with the tomato slices. We'll be back, to try the chicken gyros and other offerings, but we'll also definitely be getting the Gyro Platter again, too! read more
