Huge shoutout to Nicole and the staff--they are so sweet and attentive! The food came out incredibly fast, and the salad is massive (I could only finish half). Definitely a great spot!

Always a Solid Stop We stopped in at the Black Bear Diner in Draper for breakfast. I've been to Black Bear before and even to this exact location, so I already knew it was a safe bet. It didn't disappoint. The place had a quiet, easy vibe. Not too busy, and if you know, you know. It has that comforting, rustic charm that always hits the spot. Hubby had scrambled eggs with cheese, toast, and hash browns, plus a hot coffee. I went for the avocado toast with an egg, red potatoes on the side, and added a side of bacon. Everything was delicious, hot, and fresh. Our waiter, Davio, is originally from London and brought great energy to the table. Super friendly, attentive, and quick without hovering. We were in and out quickly, full and happy. If you're anywhere near Draper or have the opportunity to dine at a Black Bear, it's a solid breakfast spot. I'd absolutely stop at again.

Black Bear Diner in Draper--classic, familiar spot. Comfort food hit the spot, good for a casual meal. Our waiter seems disinterested but all good.

Finally, this was my first time checking out a Black Bear Diner for dinner. From the outside, it always looks like a nice place for a meal. Their menu was in the form of a newspaper. I ordered their New York Steak & Eggs with grits and sourdough toast. The menu said that it was a USDA Choice Meats by Linz steak. Can't say that I've heard of that particular brand, but it was good. I got coffee to go with my meal. I always love places that serve breakfast all day. I might say that it was better than eating at a Cracker Barrel! The service was also very nice and friendly. I would not mind eating here again!

The Black Bear Diner is okay. I think the food isn't memorable. I got the Bread Pudding French Toast and it had raisins in it. The server was really nice.

We come here every other Sunday for family brunch. The servers are always friendly, and the food consistent. The cute bear decor is welcoming and cute and it's always been clean - no dust or small housekeeping items that stand out as needing attention which I appreciate. This little diner has become a part of our family memories.

Service was so good, Gary was so super nice and helpful. He definitely made my experience at this restaurant better and he would be the only reason i'd come again. Not gonna lie food was really butt, unseasoned and not worth its price.

Called ahead and waited for about 40m for a table. Food was cooked wrong multiple times. Avoid if you can.

If you have to wait over 10 minutes after being seated and no server ever acknowledges you, it's time to leave.

Sunday's Best in Sandy absolutely lives up to its name! From the moment we walked in, the…read morerestaurant had a fun, upbeat atmosphere with beautiful décor and friendly service that made us feel welcome. Every dish that came to our table looked like it belonged in a magazine, but the best part was that the food tasted just as incredible as it looked. We started with the Eggs Benedict, which featured perfectly poached eggs, flavorful rosemary ham, rich hollandaise, and crispy potatoes. The Funky Monkey French Toast was over-the-top in the best possible way, loaded with Nutella, bananas, berries, roasted peanuts, and real maple syrup. The double cheeseburger was juicy, packed with flavor, and paired perfectly with crispy fries. We also loved the Beet & Strawberry Panzanella, which balanced sweet strawberries, earthy beets, creamy whipped goat cheese, crunchy pecans, and fresh mint for a refreshing combination. The biggest surprise of the meal was the beignets. Warm, fluffy, and generously dusted with powdered sugar, they were easily one of the best we've ever had. They practically melted in our mouths and were worth the visit all on their own. If you're looking for an outstanding brunch spot in Utah with creative dishes, generous portions, and an unforgettable atmosphere, Sunday's Best is an easy recommendation. We can't wait to come back and try even more from the menu! Check out our video on our socials @reessroots

First, I have to say the décor is really nice and the atmosphere is pleasant. Unfortunately, the…read moreservice and wait time really took away from the experience. We were a table of three and waited almost two hours before we finally got our food. It took about 15 minutes just to be seated, and once we placed our order, the wait was honestly horrific. It got so bad that our waitress brought us beignets and apologized profusely for the delay. When the food finally arrived, one person ordered pancakes, another had a hamburger with French fries, and I ordered the avocado toast. Everyone else's food was satisfactory, but unfortunately, my avocado toast missed the mark. The waitress could see my disappointment and apologized. She explained that there was a new person in the kitchen running things and offered to have another avocado toast made to see if it would be any better. The second one was definitely better, and I appreciated her making the effort to fix the situation. She was very kind and did her best under the circumstances. That said, the extremely long wait was disappointing, especially when we watched other tables who arrived after us get their food in a much more timely manner. I understand that restaurants can have an off day, but waiting nearly two hours for a meal really put a damper on the experience. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll be revisiting on our next trip.

OMG... was this awesome! I was looking specifically for a…read morepatissarie, somewhere very likely to have Almond Croissant and found them. They open at 9:00, not 8:00 as shown on the website. We go in, I ask for an Almond Croissant, expecting the size you see at other places, then inquire about something like ham and cheese, yep, so asked for one, and a Cappuccino. It'd be a few minutes for the ham and cheese, but they box up my wife's two slices of bread and my other croissant and we wait. Heading for the freeway I open the bag and start on my savory croissant. A half hour later and I ask for the Almost Croissant. "OMG... They are too pretty to eat, I have to take a picture first!" She hands me the largest Almond Croissant I have ever seen! The flavor was as imlressive as the size. Next time we are n the area, we are definitely going back, but I'll only get the Almond Croissant, it's all I'll need!

There were probably 20 diners at this location at 4-5 tables at 2:00 PM on a Sunday. I counted about 10-12 employees. The wait for everything seemed a little too long for the employee/diner ratio. The food was just OK. The brisket sandwich was very dry and pulled, like pulled pork, but without any juices. I know it's not a smokehouse and they likely just order overcooked roasted brisket from Cisco or something, but when you order a brisket sandwich for $14, there are expectations. Ordered coffee with lunch. Waiter brought two coffees and a small container of cream. Asked to refill about halfway through. Brought coffees and no cream. So I asked again. Then about 5 minutes later I asked again. Then I watched our waiter go into the open kitchen area and lean against a counter and chat and laugh with two other staff for 5 minutes. I stood up and walked toward him and he saw me. He broke with the group, came out and said, "Sorry, I had to do something in the back." Very mediocre experience overall. Not what I expected based on previous experiences at the other location. Also, noisy dining room, no solid buffering insulation in the ceiling. Cafeteria-like experience.
