I brought my family of 7 in for dinner and was extremely disappointed! I'd like to start by saying it was a Wednesday night and not busy at all. We started with appetizers which didn't show up until after they brought our salads, and were cold almost an hour after ordering. We also had no silverware after our food was delivered and when we asked the waitress for them she disappeared for another 15-20 minutes. Then after the cold appetizers, we received one of the dinners at least half an hour before all other dinners were delivered. When I asked the waitress where the rest of our dinners were and that it wasn't really ok to just bring one she acted very defensive and unapologetic. We eventually got the rest of the food after we had completely finished the first one. The food was cold, small portions and almost inedible. We tried to salvage the night with pazookies, so we ordered 5 to share which took another 45min. The waitress basically avoided our table, didn't acknowledge the lack of silverware, or the poor timing on food delivery. Last time we had tried to eat here it was for my mother's 82'd Bday with a very similar experience. At least that waiter apologized and offered us free pazookie coupons. To top it off my daughter got really sick from from her dinner. Needless to say we won't ever be coming back and I hope others don't have the same experience! read more

Best service around! We came in of the 4th of July and sat at the bar due to it being so busy! We instantly had menus and water and our drink orders were take and made FAST! Andrew, our bartender and server for the evening was engaging & funny as well as anticipating our needs. When we needed more sauce for our sweet potato fries (amazing) he went and grabbed it while taking it here drink orders as he went. The huge television screen we playing americas favorite ball games and the music in the background was nice and loud allowing us to be silly and sing along. It was my daughters birthday today so we went to BJ's for our annual dinner out. What a disappointment!!! Arrived at 4:30. Had our name on the weight list for at least 15 minutes, when we arrived, had to wait another 20 minutes. Very surprised that the wait was so long. We waited another 30 minutes before we were served anything. My daughter's salmon was delicious but my ahi salad was very fishy. Tasted like fish sauce in dressing. I told the waiter I was not happy with my meal. By now it's 30 minutes later, 6 pm. Waiter asked if we wanted dessert. It was my daughter's birthday, so we ordered the complimentary dessert. After 30 more minutes, we finally got it. It was good. But it took the waiter another 25 minutes to get us the bill. There was no deduction for my fishy dinner and a 9.49$ charge for an extra shot of vodka in my daughter's Bloody Mary. Needless to say, I will not be going to BJ's anytime in the near future. It wasn't even busy. Poor service, poor food, got there at 4:30, didn't leave for over 2 hours. I forgot to tell you, we had two young children, 4 and 5. It was so disappointing!!! read more

It's been a while since I've been here. I was disappointed to see that the chicken sandwich I like, the Southern Comfort, was no longer on the menu. I opted for the Classic Prime Rib Dip. It was delicious! The sandwich had a great sweet and salty taste that I really enjoyed. The fries were crispy and great dipped in the side of ranch I requested. A visit to BJ's would not be complete with a Pazookie for dessert. My friend and I opted to share a mini strawberry shortcake Pazookie. Reminded me of a little taste of summer. Our experience with BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse has been hit and miss. This was a hit. We were seated immediately towards the back of the restaurant. Pretty much by ourselves because the rest of the dinning room was being set up for a very large party. Our waitress was on top of everything during the whole meal. We ordered Root Beer Glazed Short Ribs, California Club Flatbread, and topped it off were a couple of pizookies. Root Beer Glazed Short Ribs were fall off the bone delicious. The only negative was that they are messy; but, that is a good reason to lick your fingers. California Club Flatbread was a nice balance to the sweet glaze on the short ribs. Order pizookies, you will not be disappointed. Well, it is a quick way to ruin a diet. This BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse will be on our list of places to eat in Eugene. read more

5 stars for the wait staff 0 stars for my nachos. The amount of cheese on my nachos was shockingly little. I needed a magnifying glass to find it. I was there to celebrate a birthday so I didn't want to say anything at the time so I made do and ate my "nachos" aka tortilla chips. I'd like to ask whoever made my nachos if the cost of the cheese comes out of their paycheck? Our wait person Tammy was a sweetheart and everyone else had good meals. Have been to Bj's in the past. Each time there was issues. Most difficult part of the restaurant is the front desk. Very disorganized. Made reservation for 6:30, did not get a table until after 7. Why offer reservations if you can't on honor them. Went for the Prime Rib, at 7:30 you are out. Sounds like a switch and bait type of situation. The wait time between appetizers and meal was long, 25 minutes for appetizers and then another 25 for the meal. Only nice part of the meal was our server, he was great. So all that being said, I will never go back and will tell anyone who will listen to me, they should not go. I have had friends go there and state they will never go back. The restaurant itself is impressive but whoever manages the place should be replaced. That's it. read more

We love BJ's Restaurant, knock on wood we have never had a bad experience at this location. I unfortunately forgot to take pictures, we had 4 adults in my party. We had, the Chicken California Club, Slow Roasted Tri-Tip, Prime Rib Special, and The Tri-Tip with the shrimp scampi, with 2 cocktails, 2 sodas and 2 Pzookies the total was $154.00. We were celebrating my daughter's 23rd birthday, but we would have done that any day of the week. The service was perfect and the place was clean and very busy for a Sunday! Tried BJ's for the first time today, we ordered the nachos ($14.95) and the Guacamole Burger (16.95). The nachos portion was huge, chunks of Chicken breast and pepper-jack with jalapeño slices. Last night, when I went, there was not many people there besides me & my party. We waited over an hour for just one pizookie. My boyfriend and I came by around 10:30pm on 3/20/2025 and the host sat us in a spot that was fine but we preferred a different seating. She then quickly had an attitude when we asked for a different seat, (mind you the restaurant was slow this evening) and she said that we could sit over by the bar and i said "perfect, thank you.. i'll follow you" because as host you make sure the customer gets seated properly. She handed us the menus and said no you can walk over there and find a seat.. I was shocked at this immature response but proceeded to go look for a seat and all of the tables over by the bar were dirty/had dishes on them. We walked back and fourth looking for a seat and there was one clean table. I would rate this visit a 1 start if it weren't for our server that night, she was one of the nicest and quickest serves we've had from our many visits. During our dinner we heard another customer fussing with the host and we weren't surprised from the attitude that she had given us. It could've been that she was tired and it was getting late but when you work in the service industry you need to know not to take it out on the customers and give proper service until your turn is finished, specially as a host you're the first person the customer talks to. I hope she is either retrained or chooses a better fitting job. read more

I haven't done many Yelp reviews but wanted to say that BJ's has a warm, comfortable atmosphere, and the food is fairly consistent with lots of variety. But the best thing about BJ's is the service. Or I should save the experienced servers. Today our server was Andrew B, who was so kind, and warm--you could tell he cared about the guests and about the service. Last week we had Tony and it was the similar. These days service is not valued by businesses as much as it should be. But today eating in the bar, we could see that Andrew B's great service is the true reason we keep coming back! read more

Sat in the bar, as it's always been a fun atmosphere. Haven't had their ahi salad in a few years. It was amazing back then, a little pricey, but a special treat. I will say, the waitress was absolutely top notch, and I'm sorry I don't remember her name, though I hadn't planned to write this, but it just bothers me. I understand that everything is more expensive, but when you jack up the prices, you shouldn't match that with equal decline in quality. Take it off the menu if you need to. The menu shows what it used to be, succulent slices of ahi that rimmed the plate and melted in your mouth. The quality has declined as steeply as the price has increased. A few cubed pieces of cold, dry ahi, more tomatoes than mixed greens, and for a significantly higher price. I've been going to BJs since they opened, but I doubt I'll ever go back. read more

I should have known better. When the first two pages of the 10-page menu are devoted to alcohol -- it's a bar and you should order bar food. You should not order pasta. The lunch portion of Chicken Fettuccine was pretty awful. Chicken was tasteless, broccoli was mush and the "creamy" Alfredo sauce was like paste. And that roll...ick. On a positive note, hubby ordered the Thursday Roast -- ribs woth white cheddar mashed potatoes and the Ceasar salad as sides and he says it was delicious. Server was pleasant, but a replacement napkin (after mine hit the floor) isn't much use after I finish the meal. I've had good food (fish tacos) at another BJ's so I know it can happen.
