I usually am very pleased with the food we get delivered from BJs, but unfortunately too many times items are missing from the order. Tonight, I ordered a loaded baked potato and a small Caesar salad. You almost got the potato right forgetting only the sour cream. The Caesar salad is another story. I asked for grilled chicken as the protein and expected it to come with Caesar dressing, Parmesan cheese , and croutons. All I got was a container filled with lettuce, a couple of croutons, and a very small smattering of Parmesan. Extremely disappointed! I recommend if you have food delivered, don't let the delivery driver leave before you check that the order is right. read more

Last night was my first time at a BJ's. We sat at the bar. Staff at bar were very attentive and friendly. The first item I ordered, an appetizer Pugsley skrewed it up. He disappeared so we ate them anyway. When I pointed it out to him he said it was his mistake and apologized. I think he should have taken the mistake off the bill. I met three of my friends there on 11/12/2025 for a birthday luncheon. We had a great time. Our server was Chris H. He was very personable and added to the fun. We all had a different lunch special so we could taste and sample. Same with the pizookie choices that came with our meals. It seemed like no time at all before we had our food. I had the Tri-Tip dinner with baked potato and steamed broccoli. Wife had half rack of ribs with veggies. For dessert she had mini brownie pizookie. Autumn offered to reheat them but we declined. Cool once no reheating at the source. She took them off our bill. I had the chicken parmigiana with spaghetti. Wife had soup and salad. This was one of my favorite restaurants years ago! One of the worst meals I have experienced. This restaurant has really gone downhill. I ordered a ribeye steak. I was told I could not order medium rare as it is only available "well-done" or "extra well-done". Wow, that's a first! My steak arrived; one side was cooked the other side was raw. Horrible! Obviously, the chef was in a hurry! The waitress didn't care that I didn't eat it! We were unhappy with our last meals two years ago. It will be a few more years before we try it again! read more

Great service and food!! We stopped here for birthday dinner for our son. We had 9 family members in our party. We were greeted and waited for about 10 minutes. Our waitress was attentive to our every needs. She took our orders and brought food to us always with a friendly smile. Others also helped to bring our food. Everyone was very happy with their order. I highly recommend the deep dish pizza. They brought the old birthday boy a free dessert with was delicious. The rest of us order desserts too. Stuffed and happy. Give BJs in Eugene a try. I have always enjoyed eating at BJs, the food is almost always good. They tend to be a little pricey but it has always been worth it. Today I ordered the Santa Fe chicken salad, $20. This is the worst meal I have ever had at this restaurant. The lettuce was old and wilted and the chicken was very good but there just wasn't much of it. I may not ever eat at this restaurant again. 20 minute wait with less than a quarter of the main area occupied. Our booth was dirty and had ranch dressing splatters on the seat. Our server took 20 minutes to bring us waters and our sodas were warm and flat from dying on the counter. Food took over 40 minutes, the boneless wings were luke warm to cold. The salad was fine, the burger was ordered medium well and came out pink and the waiter walking past empty glasses a half dozen times is just ridiculous. Obviously there's something wrong in the kitchen or management is dropping the ball. We've been coming here for 8 yrs and this is just bad. I love that no matter where you go in the country, BJ's is something you can count on. This location features a large bar and many tvs right when you walk in. There is also a large dining room to the right. Being that it is a mall location, the dining room will likely be full on a weekend, but you can seat yourself in the bar area if your group is made up of folks all over 21. My friend and I split the spinach artichoke dip and I had the ahi tuna salad. This was actually the first time I didn't love the ahi. Granted the weekend I was there it was following a big snowstorm and perhaps a delivery truck was missed. Our server was great and checked on us frequently while we watched the game playing on TV. Plenty of servers walked past our empty table, no one had greeted us yet or even got us drinks. We had to walk up to the front and ask if we even had a server. Ordered full rack baby back rib dinner as a takeout. The asparagus was inedible because it was so woody. Even backed potato lacked flavor. The ribs were ok, but onion rings shown on the menu were left off, and there was no extra barbecue sauce. Desert was a big cookie with ice cream scoop on top. The promised Carmel sauce was on the sude, but there was only about 1/2 tsp worth. It was hardly enough to bother with. All in all a very disappointing meal. read more

We made a reservation online an hour 1/2 in advance. We received a confirmation, both by text and email. However, when we showed up, they said it would be a 2 hour wait, because "on a night like tonight you need to make the reservation at least 2 hours in advance". There was nothing that said anything like that when we made the reservation. The ladies at the hostess table were not very kind either - never once apologized for the misunderstanding. Took my family from out of town for lunch at BJ's The Good 1. Friendly Host 2. Large menu 3. Easy parking The Not So Good 1. Insanely dark in there at noon. We had to use our cell phone flashlight to see the menu. When we inquired about getting more light, we were told the lamps were broken. All of them? 2. Waited 40 minutes for our order (only 4 of us dining and it wasn't crowded). 3. Food was not good. When it arrived, it was cold as if it sat in the window forever and was forgotten. 4. My chicken was raw 5. Manager offered to remake but after you ingest undercooked meat, one's tastebuds are destroyed. 6. They thankfully took the two bad dishes off the bill which we appreciated and gave us some pizzookies for our trouble. Unfortunately, the cookies/pizzookies were 100% raw in the middle and cold. C'MON NOW! Overall the experience was unfortunate. I used to love BJs when it was on Coburg Road it was great. Sometimes business just declines in quality and service which sucks. I ordered the New BJ's smokehouse burger. It was supposed to come out with some red on it, but jot bleeding. Well this burder was beyond done. It was like taking a bite of the desert because there was no moisture at all, I was so very disappointed. They got on making another burger that was what I originally ordered to fix the mishap. The French fried, which I was too full to try out last time didn't disappoint. While I do know they are just fried potatoes, but if you've ever had a bad fried potato you begin to appreciate all the good ones. Once the second came out it was fired to perfection, perfectly pink on the interior, and still full of moisture. The flavor combination of this burger combination well to give you a burger symphony in your mouth. I will be having this burger again very soon. I came down to visit my son who's in college, and take him out for his birthday dinner. He had performed for 60,000 people for the game today and was very tired and hungry. I called ahead at 535 pm to get on the waitlist as being from McKenzie River I grew up here and know that BJs is always busy. They told me they have a 90 minute wait time. We got to the restaurant within 5 minutes, checked in and we sat in our car waiting for over an hour, my partner went in at 702 pm to do a check as we saw at least 60 people go in and out of the restaurant, he was treated very poorly, even Laughed at by a female host, and told at that point the wait is another hour long. So we left. What a waste of our time and effort. Needless to say we won't be back, Ever. Olive Garden got us in immediately. To be laughed at by a staff member is sickening. read more

Also, I do not think that it was 8 oz either. My asparagus was very tough and under-cooked. My wife's Jambalaya didn't look or taste anything like Jambalaya and was a very small portion. These two meals were expensive and we expected high quality ... didn't get that at all. Cooking these kinds of meals is not rocket science, so when they fail at the very basic levels, it will be difficult to ever trust them again. When you hire on your waitstaff, you need to be careful to select people that have the education, experience and the ability to execute. This, before they are allowed to even serve a salad. No excuse for this. A coupon can't repair today's damage. Neither can a "sorry". It is their reputation that is at stake and once that goes bad, it's very hard to impossible to restore it. read more

When he dropped menus i asked for a pizookie the bartender said ok, left for three minutes and came back and lectured us that we didn't give him time to say his name as i had cut him off??? He proceeds to send his bartender in training and i tried to order a tommy's marg and he had to come help. Didn't receive waters, or silverware. Went there today after getting my oldest settled in to U of O. The food was horribly cold waited over 45 minutes for 2 burgers and wings. Dirty tables all around us, its 245 and we didnt get our food till 330, our server had maybe 4 tables on the non bar side. Stopped-in for a dine-in lunch at BJ's, enjoyed some old faves, discovered something new (and delicious) and, of course, Pizookie for the win! So, if you're looking for a tasty, casual late lunch AND you time it right, you can partake in BJ's Lunch Specials menu AND Happy Hour menu on the very same visit. Not sure exactly how that happened, but the food (and Cider) Gods were generous on this day! On this visit, my old faves included the House Wedge Salad (1), Half California Chicken Club sandwich (2) and those wonderfully thin and crispy shoestring fries. BJ's Club sammy is packed with flavor: Grilled chicken, smokey bacon, avocado, swiss and a wonderful roasted garlic aioli that pulls it all together. Not sure what to order? Do yourself a favor and get this sandwich! The House Wedge Salad is another old fave. If you love bleu cheese like I "deu" you're going to love this crisp and creamy salad topped with savory bacon and bleu cheese crumbles. Wrapping it all up was the Salted Caramel Pizookie (3). Whoever created this one deserves a bonus! Caramel, almond toffee, white and dark chocolate chips, pretzel bites (added that salty punctuation to all that sweetness) topped with vanilla bean ice cream and caramel sauce. There's just something about this bi-polar dessert... it's warm, it's cold, it's salty, it's sweet and before you know it, it's gone :-) Washing it all down was BJ's Berry Burst Cider (4). At only 3% ABV, this is one complex, refreshing berry cider and officially my new fave hard cider! Did I mention that a pint will only set you back $4 during HH? Happy Valentine's! We ordered in tonight. Making it a special evening from home despite being under the weather! We ordered a small array of options. The Parmesan crusted chicken (not pictured), Nashville hot chicken sandwich with fries, and a side Caesar salad. Then 2 pizookies because it's a special day after all! One peanut butter pizookie with vanilla ice cream (served warm & ice cream separate and fully sealed off and individualized! How fancy.). And a double chocolate chunk pizookie with chocolate chip ice cream. (Yum!) Here are my pros: lots of food! Packaged really well. Food was not mushy or gross with delivery. (No fault to the restaurant for delivery regardless if it had been "bad". But it held up nicely!) Food seemed fresh and filling. Fries were even still good which is awesome for delivery. Everything was still warm. The ice cream seemed like a huge portion and nicely packages with a peel tab so you know it was made for Togo / delivery orders. Love that touch. Fries were good. I set aside my salad for tomorrow's lunch leftovers but it looks crisp & dressing came served on the side which I appreciated! Although no Parmesan cheese on which seemed a little disappointing. Cons: chicken Parmesan did lack amazing flavor, and seemed to be maybe a bit under pare for usual. My Nashville hot sandwich was a little dry- not the chicken, the chicken was thick & juicy. But the sauce was nearly nonexistent this time. Usually it's dripping with the hot sauce. Not tonight! A little disappointed. Then the ranch sauce was about just a small dot. I had to add my own otherwise it was pretty dry to eat. The bun was good and is hearty & plump lol. And they didn't lack on pickles! 4 of 5 on there. Yum. Another con was the pizookies were a little over baked and crunchy / black edges. But I ate the middle. Overall we enjoyed our meals and have lots of leftovers of both the food and dessert and it was nice to not have to cook tonight! Went last night about 8pm 10/15. Greeted right away , hostess told us it was 17 minute wait, um why is there a wait when half the restaurant is open and it's 4 of us and no one is waiting? I counted tables over by the restrooms that were empty and clean there was 10 tables. And yes, there was people over there too. So I don't know. It took forever to get our food. I ordered clam chowder as a side, which was very sad it tasted I can't. It was very watery. The soup base was not thick no seasoning., I got the tri-tip ribs combo. The steak was cooked. Perfectly delicious. My other side was the rice which was severely undercooked. The green rice should not be hard as a rock. The server came back. I told him about it and he offered me what other side of what I like. I said french fries he came back with a 2 ounce scoop of mashed potatoes which tasted like instant mashed potatoes no garnish no pepper nothing on it. The ribs tasted super old and dried out. It was the worst experience I've had with BJ's in forever as a sous chef. I was very disappointed. I would not let my kitchen put out product like that. The presentation was garbage. Ordered take out tonight for dinner. I looked over the menu and ordered few of the locals "popular" items such as the BJ's root beer glazed wings, white cheddar mashed potatoes, and of course a bottle of wine. The wing sauce was delicious, a sweet peppery bbq sauce. The ranch was a little watery but still tasted good. I wished the white cheddar potatoes were a little more cheesy but they did have great flavor and texture. I would try more off the menu in the future. read more

When it's bad, it's REALLY bad! Under staffed, initial sitting took longer than should have for drinks, entree came out before appetizers, entrees cold and under cooked. Manager only knew to give away free stuff to try and make it better. As if we'd go back after that experience.
