Bizza is a place on Haight and Ashbury. My girlfriend ordered a pepperoni and mushroom pizza and I ordered a steak and mushroom pizza. The pizzas are really big slices and very generous slices as well which made me really full. The service here is very friendly. Was thrifting in the Haight and decided to grab dinner here at Bizza. Ironically didn't get pizza and instead opted for a burger and fries. After ordering, it took about 10-15 minutes for the food to be ready. Burger was the most mediocre burger possible, but the fries were solid. I wouldn't mind coming here just for fries, but that's about it. A container of ranch is also $1. Service wasn't too friendly, felt a bit dismissive, but isn't a huge dealbreaker for me. read more

There was no line upon entering and service was quick professional And friendly. Food came out quick and there was plenty of seating. Pizza was delicious and perfectly cooked. Ingredients tasted fresh. They had several TVs on. We definitely would go again. read more

Was looking for something quick while exploring neighborhood and before walking up the hill to my parked car. They got a big menu of specialty pizzas but decided with the pepperoni slice. The pizza was good, crust firm and cheese had a good pull, might suggest more pepperoni given the price. It was very hot inside the store, can't imagine eating inside during warm seasons. Pizza slices are half baked wrapped up put in fridge and next day put together for a slice pie. They have to cook it since it's only half baked. Never seen a pizzeria that doesn't make fresh daily and wraps up leftovers and refrigerate to save money. It tasted like what it was...a frozen pizza. Took one bite and threw it away. Reason they have slice specials and always empty but I wanted to give them a chance. So disappointing read more

We got a half and half of Falafel pizza and queen margherita. Both were much better than I imagined. Ordered for delivery and they came in hot and quickly. Will definitely try others on the menu although the falafel is probably gonna be my favorite one. read more

While visiting San Francisco my girlfriend and I found this place one night because we were in search of vegan options and this place was amazing!! We loved it so much that we came back a couple days later to try some more options and every slice we tried was incredible just like the first time!! The service was also very quick!! But Bizza is everything I want in a slice, a nice crunch, a good amount of toppings and delicious! They're good size slices too! Our favorite was the vegan Pineapple Express! Definitely will be returning next time we're in the Bay again to try some more!! read more

Pricing is WILDLY exploitive, and while I really (really) used to like this pizzaria, I will never again buy so much as a slice here. They are just exploiting people, and it doesn't make sense. One large cheese pizza is like $35. If you want one topping, add $4. If you want half the pizza with one topping, add $4 (why not $2?) and if you want half one topping and half another, it's an additional $8-9. Why not just make it yourself? Or buy frozen? This place is a JOKE. read more

I walked straight to the counter to order ( no one was in line) the one guy working there points me to the self order machine so I went ahead and order a 2 slice combo with 1 topping . I ordered one with sausage and the other one pepperoni. When the order was ready he try to give me 1 with pepperoni and the other one was just cheese and said he's out of sausages . He expected me to just take it but I wasn't having it so he asked me ' what you want then !?' Mushrooms was the only thing in my head at that time so I said ' mushrooms' please . I ate the pizzas and they were 'ok' . But what's up with the attitude ! read more

Not many pizza places have completely vegan options, they offer a lot of options and DIY your own style. I have been here a couple times, I would say I really like this place, but somehow feel there is a separation between the dough and the topping. Maybe it is me having a weird taste. It doesn't really have any service here, you order on a screen and pick up when it is ready. I like it, it doesn't bother me at all. read more

Do you like pizza? How about pizza by the slice? How about a whole mess of options from standard pizza toppings to cheesesteak and buffalo chicken? What if they also have most of these in vegan/vegetarian options? Give me a hell yeah. Pizza is delicious and I love having so many options besides vegetables only. The vegan buffalo chick'n is delicious and spicy and so flavourful. We ordered several different types among our party and everything was DELICIOUS. The restaurant wasn't busy despite it being an afternoon on Saturday. Service was great and the prices are also reasonable given the location. I love this place and it's definitely going on my rotation to come back to when we're in the area! read more

Probably one of the best places for a HUGE slice of pizza and average price as well. A quick pizza and was ready for a slice in less than 10 minutes. Not a lot of seating but it's okay it's a great area to grab a slice and walk around for a bit. I was SO close to also grabbing a slice of cake because you know I'm that dessert girlie, but I didn't. Pizza was nice and crispy. Happy to know I can grab a slice here next time whenever I'm in the area. read more

I was really surprised at the amount of vegetarian options they had. As I walked in, the menu was huge and it almost filled up the whole entire wall. They had so many options, it was so hard to choose from. We got a veggie pizza, and it was enough to feed 5 people. It was really flavourful and full of toppings. The cheese was awesome and honestly I wanted more. So if I get a chance, I will definitely come back and get more pizza for myself and try one of the many more options that they have for me. I'd definitely want to try one of the sides as well, the fries look really good. This place is full of endless options, which is what makes it so unique. read more

Does Bizza stand for Big Pizza? How are they so generous with the sizes of their pizza slices? $7-8 for a single slice seems pricey at first until you're met with a slice that's practically the same size as two at any other pizza restaurant. - Brotherly Love: Topped with thinly sliced beef, garlic and oil, fresh white onions, and peppers. The veggies were really fresh and crisp, while the garlic was a nice complement to the beef. The crust also hit the balance between crispy and fluffy. Only wishing this was just a little warmer, but otherwise a solid and filling meal! Next time I'd probably try to order a sauce on the side to dip this into, too. - Deep Fried Oreos: My friends and I realized we had never tried deep fried oreos and had to order some here. The oreo is surrounded by what seemed like a deep fried cake batter topped with powdered sugar. This is light yet decadent, and a nice treat to follow a giant slice of pizza! The freshness of the veggies made me feel significantly better about myself despite having shoved a whole slice of pizza in my mouth. Would come back to try their vegan options! read more

The pizza slices are $7 for the specialty ones and they are huuuuge. I should have bought one but my greedy and hungry bum ordered two to try different toppings. I got the Pineapple Express and buffalo chicken. Both were so good, it hit hard. Order the onion rings, they give you a lot unlike any other place that sells onion rings and they come out hot and crispy. read more

I have gotten togo from Bizza before to take home, or to eat at GG Park when driving through the Haight. Lots of easy parking in Golden Gate, but if walking there are lots of tables between Fell & Oak , though I have opted at times to chill at Buena Vista Park to enjoy a meal. Also important to note that there is store at Central & Haight if you want to grab some beverages. Today though, I had a busy morning, and decided to have a Mushroom Pizza delivered. Nice thing about Bizza is that they use quality ingredients, and make a decent West Coast style pizza with a crust that does not become a mess when vegetable toppings are added. As for the delivery, it took less then an hour and was painless via DD, the price point was reasonable, and when Bizza sealed the Pizza Box, they had stashed plenty of Pepper Flake & also Cheese packages inside. read more

My usual go-to pizza spot stopped doing custom orders so I was on the look-out for a new pizza spot on DoorDash when I stumbled upon Bizza. Firstly, their menu and customization options is amazing! I love that they have vegan options and the option to not add cheese. As a lactose intolerant pizza loving fanatic, I was excited to have options! My boyfriend and I got medium pizzas. He got a pizza with fresh mozzarella, pepperoni and Italian sausage. I got the same thing but no cheese. The pizzas came quick and to our surprise it was filled with a lot of toppings! The sauce was flavorful and they put just the right amount (not too saucy and not too light). They also followed my boyfriend's instructions to put light cheese, which he was thankful they did. We're big crust fans so we were elated to see that the crust was thick and cooked perfectly. The only downside was they didn't fully cut our pizzas so we had to go back in and cut the slices all the way through. Overall, the pizzas were very flavorful and tasty! We'll definitely be ordering from Bizza again and next time we'll order directly from them since they do offer free delivery. Also, super random but I really liked their unique pizzas boxes - it was simple yet eye catching! read more

Love that there are many options here, from pizza to sandwiches to calzones and more! I shared a Pineapple Express pizza (medium size) with 2 others and it came with 6 decently sized slices. The pizza was really good and had lots of cheese which I love! I tried the planet earth calzone as well, and it was on the bland side despite having marinara dipping sauce that came with it. Food was ready in about 10 minutes and it wasn't too crowded on a Saturday evening. read more

Okay pizza joint to stop by on Haight-Ashbury - but that's pretty much all it is, just a classic pizza joint. The slices are large which is pretty standard and they have all the regular topping combos. Good tasting pizza, but I'm from San Diego and Bronx is still better in my opinion. They have a good Yelp discount though! The interior is cute but the reason it was only okay was mostly because the people working there were pretty unfriendly. Not being from here, maybe my expectations are too high every time I walk into a restaurant of any sorts but I was not expecting the extreme bare minimum when ordering, truly just not the friendliest. I had to go to the bathroom and there was a band barrier that was blocking the entry to the hall, and I had to go under it in order to get there. After directing a customer to where the bathroom is, you would expect them to at least pull it back? I'm young so not a problem but I could definitely see how that could have been an issue for some older folks. Overall, meh experience but good pizza slices in taking a break in our shopping ventures. Firstly, I LOVE the name and word Bizza. When my friends and I first discovered this restaurant, we couldn't help but laugh at the word Bizza. Second, LOVE THIS PLACE!! From the prices to the food quality, I will talk about this place with such high remarks. The location is also ideal (with the Panhandle nearby to go on bike rides during the day and Woot Bear to buy Sonny Angels). There's just so much to do there! Hey vegans. Pretty disappointing reality here. They advertise their vegan options with pride (complete with a PETA certification) and then are backwards on pricing and taste. Not impressed, even the butcher's son's cheese couldn't save these pizzas. "Vegan" doesn't mean flavorless, and they would do well to reconsider their ingredients and flavor profiles. So happy to have Bizza and their growing vegan options available in the Haight! When my partner and I first discovered Bizza, we were living in lower Haight and got delivery. At the time, they had a couple of sandwich options (using high quality vegan ingredients, like vegan mozzarella from Butcher's Son) and pizzas. The sandwiches were good and we were satisfied. However, after moving to Haight Ashbury proper, we started ordering from Bizza more and it seems like they keep adding vegan options to their menu. Since being closer, we've had their calzone (excellent) and chicken tenders (albeit, just gardein but the ranch was quite good.) I also see that have vegan mozzarella sticks on their menu and I'm definitely trying those next time! And not only do they have plenty of vegan options but they're open pretty late most days of the week. Pre-pandemic their hours were well past midnight (possibly 3am if I remember correctly) and they seem like they're still open far later than most restaurants currently. Really hope they keep expanding their vegan menu (maybe even go the CyBelle's route and have a completely dedicated vegan menu), but either way, we will be back again and again. read more

Being a merchant of the Haight for over 10 years at neighboring store Puff Puff Pass, Sam Husary had the opportunity to convert this location with his business partner Tony Wasaya into their ideal Pizza joint for the iconic Haight Ashbury neighborhood! With 15 years of Pizza experience, Tony Wasaya worked closely with Sam Husary for more than a year designing a complete buildout from a retail space to a food facility. Their mission for Bizza is to deliver quality tasting ingredients in an efficient manner while being consistent every single time. Their Mediterranean background led them to creating Bizza (a term used by foreigners pronouncing Pizza as "Bizza") "You've Tried Pizza, Now Try Bizza!"

The kebabs were made with chicken breast, but very tender and moist, and the side of hummus was fresh, creamy and delicious. We also tried the sangria which was great- not too sweet and decently strong (not watered down bad wine). For dessert, the lemon cake was tasty but odd that dried cranberries were sprinkled into the whipped cream. I appreciated the variety offered on the menu- not just typical Greek food you find everywhere else that touts "Mediterranean food". The service was super nice and efficient, and I like that it has been family owned and run (sadly an increasingly rare San Francisco characteristic these days)- you can tell the difference in the quality and thought put into the experience.
