This small shop is located inside a gigantic business building and obviously serves the many people who work there but is also open to the public. It is accessed by either going through the entrance between the 3020 and 3030 buildings and walking through the lobby or you can find the shop's entrance on the backside of the building. They have a couple tables inside the shop and a couple in the building's lobby area as well as a single outdoor table. The couple who operate this shop are so friendly and welcoming to their customers. While they make sandwiches and have a wide variety of drinks in a large fridge, they also have many other items (including a freezer full of ice cream bars). It's almost like a deli and mini-mart as they sell sundries like batteries, Q-tips, headache pills, crackers, candy bars, etc. but I had come for a quick lunch. I ordered a pastrami sandwich and grabbed an A&W root beer from the cooler. I sat at one of the indoor tables and my sandwich was ready in mere minutes. The deli pastrami was very tender and flavorful, accompanied by mustard, melted swiss cheese, and pickles. The bread was very fresh. Although the sandwich was on the small side it was very good. Not being quite full, I purchased a Haagen-Dazs bar from the options in their ice cream freezer on the way out, the perfect ending to my lunch on a hot day. read more

As you can tell by the map, this is a little place inside the lobby of the business building across from the freeway exit and entrances. There are two four tops and a two top inside. A four top with umbrella outside and a four and two top sin the lobby. I'd think most of their business is from people who work in the building and it is nice to have quality food so close. Outside is nice with morning sun but noisy with freeway traffic. The soup was freshly made and the sandwich was flavorful. The owners were extremely nice. I absolutely love this place. It's a small business and the owners are just so pleasant and welcoming. The food is great and super well priced. They have daily specials for about $10 and it's a ton of food. Their soups of the day are always delish too. They make amazing sandwiches and even have super soft pumpernickel bread. This is a a pleasant little cafe, situated inside of an office building. Owned by a nice family, they are very friendly. Based on what I've tried there so far, I can strongly recommend the following: breakfast sandwich (I recommend requesting the croissant as the base, and ham as the protein), broccoli cheese soup, and the grilled chicken salad (the one with berries, almonds, etc.) with balsamic dressing; French toast (add sausage and fruit); and the beet juice. Also the Asian specialties such as bulgogi with rice are very good. I work in the building, so I pick up food here a couple of times a week. The prices are extremely reasonable. I try to support the mom & pop's that work hard to earn your business. Just a modest cafe located behind The Ranch financial building. The bulgogi sandwich is great as is everything else they serve here. The husband and wife team are very friendly and they don't have that irrating tablet thing fishing for tips, although I always leave a few dollars in the tip jar since they are so nice. This place has great food, reasonable prices and a good assortment of meals to keep you from getting bored - and you can get a full, healthy(ish) meal for under 6 bucks. Try doing that at McD's or Carls. They serve lunch specials that range from Philly Cheese Steak sandwiches to Spicy Tuna Rolls, to Lasagna. How much more ecclectic can you get? I love the owners - a true "mom and pop" shop, this husband and wife team are the friendliest and just all around good peoples. Normally in-office deli's are mediocre at best - but people settle for it for their convenient location - but not this place. Even if I didn't work here, I would probably go out of my way to have lunch here regularly. Oh yeah... and their BLTs must be laced with crack cocaine because theyre addicting as hell. read more

A great place to grab a hardy breakfast and lunch during your busy day. Located on the first floor of Bixby Plaza. They always have a friendly and speedy service and the quality of their food is top notch compared to how cheap it is. Sandwich prices range from $4.79 to $6.79. I highly recommend the tuna cheddar melt. It is absolutely one of the best tuna melt (even better than Porto's) that I have ever had and it's only $5.99. Their breakfast burritos (small is $2.39 and large is $3.69) are also very delicious. read more

The best Business Park eatery I've been to so far! A great 'Mom & Shop' op. The owners are friendly and offer great service, selection (breakfast, hot & cold sandwiches, burgers, pre-made salads, homemade soups...Specials of the Day range from a Philly cheese steak sandwich, to teriyaki plate with salad, to California Roll; they also have a wide assortment of chips and beverages), and all at a very reasonable price. After the heavy fast food breakfast sandwich I'd consumed before work, I was craving something light...I ordered the Vegetarian Delight sandwich on wheat, minus the sprouts. And it sure was a dee-light! The *best* Veg. Sandwich I've had so far. Packed with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, Provolone, avocado, and shredded carrots. They have a pretty big selection of items (from full meals to snacks) for a small office park cafe. I am very thankful for them on days I don't have a lunch or breakfast. I love this place! I don't always get to go out for lunch but that never bothers me because going downstairs is always a treat. This Mom and Pop shop serves a wide variety of foods and I'm never disappointed. They take good care of their customers and you really can't ask for more from a small cafe. I don't know why more people are not reviewing this awesome cafe! Yes, it is located in a very impressive office building and it would be the last place to expect a delicious sandwich. I worked here for a few weeks and wanted to seriously gorge myself on their sandwiches everyday. I liked it because it was cheap (I could get a small drink, chips, and sandwich for about $7), fairly fast, and they have a lot of choices. I work at CSULB, so I periodically drop by this place on my way to campus. There's an entrance to the 22W right out of the parking lot, so it's really convenient. The food is great, the people are friendly (in fact I kinda have a crush on the owner), and the prices are good. A great alternative to fast food.
