Still five stars in my opinion. Had their pho and ban mi for the first time. They have a lunch combo. I got the rare beef pho and the ham banh mi. The food is fresh and made from quality ingredients. My dining partner had the Thai iced tea and I had the hot dripped coffee. We both also had the chicken cabbage salad. I love it. I crave it. The dressing and the crunchy garlic are what make it so delicious. The service was good. The restaurant is in a small strip mall. There are probably 30 seats. Plenty of parking. read more

Fantastic pho flavors and options. Reasonably priced. Probably the best spring rolls we have ever tasted; fresh, crisp veggies, thick yet delicate. I had the braised brisket pho and my wife the vegan pho. We both loved our orders. Plenty of protein, veggies and rice noodles to go around. Note: the broth for the shrimp pho is chicken broth, so if you have any vegetarians or pescatarians in the group, that was the answer to that question when we asked. Parking is plentiful because they have a large private lot for a strip mall that isn't completely full. The only thing we didn't like was the noise in the restaurant. With a long layout and no padding on any of the walls or floors, it sounds like a racquetball court in there. With just a few tables full, it was loud but manageable, after the restaurant was full, it was pretty noticeable and uncomfortable. Overall, a great pho option in the area though! read more

In the spirit of their Lunch Menu - picking either a noodle dish and 1/2 Banh Mi is a great lunch choice. I've had this combo many times over and enjoy it. Today, was a different story. We arrived after the lunch crowd and told us they ran out of Banh Mi. Which was fine but didn't offer us an alternative from the lunch combo menu. I asked if I could have egg rolls instead since there was no more Banh Mi and it was refused. I was told I would have to pay separate. Come on! Heard of Customer service!? You ran out. I should have ran out too. This was my first time ordering from the regular menu. Mistake. In the spirit of too many PHO restaurants in SoCal, I can tell you this. I got a regular bowl of Combo Pho with all meats. I paid extra $$ for a selection of meats in my noodle soup. And I got 5 small pieces of beef and 1/2 of a meatball. See photo. Honestly, I'm shocked. There's A LOT of way better competition out there in way better locations and way better pho choices with better prices. BENLEY - sadly, you need to do better. Looked this place up and didn't think they specialized in banh mi since it seemed mainly like a Vietnamese cuisine restaurant with other main dishes. For $10, I ordered the chicken banh mi (with extra cilantro). They do not add jalapeños automatically unless you ask for them. The sandwich was delicious! It was fresh, and seemed a bit more elevated than your local shops (probably because it is a full sit down restaurant and priced as such). It was very saucy, which I liked, but others may not like their sandwich dripping when biting into it. The restaurant itself is quite small, but decorated nicely. The lady that helped me from my initial phone call order up to the order pick-up was quite friendly and thanked me for supporting their business, which I found was a very nice sentiment. She is the wife of the owner. We ordered the lunch special which was half bhan mi sandwich and a bowl of vermicelli with pork. We had jasmine tea and a Thai iced coffee. The bhan mi is delicious with a generous amount of pickled vegetables. The bread was crispy. The vermicelli was delicious as well. It was a perfect combination for the day. The place is very clean. I have been ordering take out a handful of times from here but yesterday was so off. I ordered 2 Chicken Banh Mi, 1 Vermicelli with chicken and 1 with beef. I had the beef vermicelli and ate around the beef because it was unusually salty. My daughter ate half the chicken banh mi and couldn't finish the rest because it was also very salty, this was a bummer because banh mi is her favorite. I felt bad because I asked her to take a few more bites, if I knew it was that salty i would have asked her to toss it. Loved this place but won't be back :( read more

We love this neighborhood place. So happy that they survived Covid shutdowns. We order take out a few times a month. Tried and true favorites are the Taste of Pho and Taste of vermicelli. It's a smaller portion of each and perfect when you can't eat the full size alone and leftovers aren't as good the next day. Shrimp and pork spring rolls are always fresh and yummy. Fried egg rolls with lettuce to wrap. Shrimp and lotus salad is my go to. The bahn mi sandwiches for lunch if they aren't sold out are good too.
