Holy moly! My friend and I were craving a savory hot noodle soup breakfast and we stumbled upon…read morethis place, and I was blown away. INCREDIBLE dishes - we got the dry noodle dish which came with a bone broth on the side, and Mo's special porridge with the donut. I need to have this again. Plenty of self-service sauces/condiments on the side- traditional Asian eating. It was busy but service was reasonable. The staff were friendly in helping us choose what to order. It was such a nice time. Plenty of street parking around. It's cozy and traditional, what more can you ask for?

Came here on a Saturday morning right before lunch time and we definitely beat the lunch hour rush…read more They have limited street parking so I would definitely circle around to find some street parking. They have an ipad outside to sign up if it starts to get busy. We ordered the pork noodle (you have the option to do it wet or dry-we chose dry) and the beef noodle soup. The dry noodles come with a side soup as well. My husband really liked the dry noodles since it was well seasoned. The beef noodle soup (with combo noodle types) was good as well. The soup seems very clean and rich with flavor. I would prefer to have some sort of pickled serrano peppers though to give it a citrus and spicy taste to balance out the savory soup. We also got some fried donuts which paired well with the soup. Very quick service and the food came out quick. Definitely a mom and pop shop but with a good amount of indoor seating as well.

Possibly the most important restaurant in all of America for the Cambodian Diaspora. They serve…read moredishes and soups that have long been forgotten in some Cambodian households. The flavors are authentic and invoke nostalgia in the older generations and reconnection to their roots for the young. For those not well versed in cambodian cuisine, what this restaurant is making is not easy and the quality they are able to provide is impressive. Outside of the well known dishes with kreung - lemongrass paste, there are other dishes you won't find anywhere except in the the old world. Things like like the nhom svay- papaya salad with dried fish, or the Machu Srae - farmers fish soup, are complex with a unique mixtures of ingredients like banana blossoms and lotus, that deliver the familiar southeast asian sweet, sour, and salty umami flavor but with a signature that is uniquely Cambodian. You won't find this place recommended on infatuation or tagged with a Michelin bib gourmand simply because nobody understands Cambodian cuisine. But the community does and Cambodians from across the US and even back in the old world knows of this place. It's a must visit. Restaurants come and go. They get sold off remodeled and change for better or worse. I just felt compelled to write a review about it's current state so hopefully more people are aware and can enjoy what it is now because if we don't, places like these will go extinct.

However while we waited they took our order so when we sat down the food didn't take long. We definitely ordered to much for just 2 people but it was bomb and I will be going back with at least 2 more people

We stumbled upon this restaurant on Yelp then headed here based on the pictures. There was plenty of parking when we arrived and we were seated immediately because there wasn't really anyone inside on a weekday afternoon. We couldn't decide between what to get because everything looked so good and we were hungry, so we ended up getting the beef sticks, beef larb and angel chicken wings. The beef sticks were probably one of the most flavorful beef sticks I have tried in my life. You're instantly hit with so many different flavors while it's hot. This is something we would get again. The beef larb was a little too tangy and sour for my boyfriend's taste, but he still enjoyed it. He also said the beef in the larb was a little chewy for him, but it wasn't a big issue for him. I enjoy eating sour foods, but it did have us sweating inside haha. I loved the combination of veggies mixed in with the larb and the cabbage definitely helped cut out some of the sourness. The angel chicken wings! Probably one of my favorites because of all the lemongrass and turmeric added inside. The chicken was crispy on the outside yet so juicy on the inside. I also like that they cut up the wings into pieces for you. I'm glad we can across this restaurant on Yelp and got to try it. Next time, I would try the soups like the babaw (porridge) or the nom banh chok (fish rice noodles) because they were items I was deciding between that's still lingering through my mind right now.
