$50 plus tax. Was suppose to get 3 items but they only gave us two items. 3 pcs of ribs and 4 half size briskets.

I wanted to love this place. Supporting the Asian community but this will be my first and last time. Got to their popup at Rice Strings at 1130am. 230pm finally got our food. We were 8th in line and they didn't have anymore of what we ordered but didn't bother to tell us (pork belly). Instead they just have it to us as is with just two types of meat versus 3 types that we ordered (brisket, pork rib, pork belly was not included). $50 plus tax for 3 pieces of pork ribs and two long briskets cut in half to make 4. They didn't even give us the option to pick another 3rd meat option for our combo.. Everything was cold when we got it, we ate it right there in the car. Noodles were dry, flavorless, just smoky. Briskets was dry without the sauce. Ribs were dry but good flavor. I wish, after waiting for them 3 hrs after supposedly opening that the food would at least be warm. Portions are incredibly small for what they post online and advertised all over social media. Never again. Other's that got their food was also complaining about the portion that the person helping them said that the 2 to 3 items would feed up to 4 people. Some also said the social media advertising was a joke. I can sadly agree with them in that. Let me tell you, the 3 items combo only feeds 1 person who eats in moderation.

My Cambodian sandwich was excellent. Loved the tri-tip and I even got free samples of the brisket and sausage. Everything was so damn delicious and the owner was really cool. The location was outside of a brewery which was a perfect match for the food.

Battambong BBQ is a perfect representation of Long Beach, which has one of the largest Cambodian communities in the United States. They have Texas style BBQ with subtle Cambodian Flavors. I went with a three-meat combo for $50, which was definitely filling for my wife and I (though we also had the meats with rice at home). Their brisket is a must have; however, we are also glad that we got their pork belly and baby back ribs in our combo. The smoke flavor was strong and assertive as it deeply permeated the meat. The flavor was so intense that I didn't even need sauce. The good news is that their BBQ sauce is pretty delicious. If you go with their Spicy sauce, it actually packs a punch. If you want something that's more representative of Cambodian flavor, go with their smoked sausage or with one of their sandwiches. It can be a little tricky to find Battambong BBQ, but the best way is to follow them on instagram (@BattambongBBQ), where they post their schedule weekly. On this particular friday, they were at Ten Mile Brewing in Signal Hill. Battambong's BBQ, though it can be hard to access, is one of my favorite spots for BBQ in LB.

I've made the drive up to Ten Mile Brewery from San Diego before to check out the food made by The Cambodian Cowboy before and it never disappoints! The first time I tried the food was at a Cambodian New Year festival. I got the loaded nachos and they were GOOD! Flavorful, cheesy, loaded with toppings (no photo unfortunately because the camera did not eat first in that case lol). I did appreciate that when we were ordering, the lady helping us advised us on getting the smaller portion because they really do load them up. The second time was at another festival, where we got a shared platter (see photo) and the food, especially the meat was just as good!

Two item combo: Twako, Smoked trip tip

I finally got to try Battambong Bob's Battambong BBQ dishes Since this was that the Khmer festival, we got: Combo plate - Two item combo: $35 -- Twako -- Smoked tri tip -- Garlic noodles -- Cambodian slaw -- Cambodian-style coconut cream -- BBQ sauce - Two item combo: $35 -- Smoked brisket, -- Pulled pork -- Garlic noodles -- Cambodian slaw -- Cambodian-style coconut cream -- BBQ sauce I loved the twako (Khmer sausage) - it's something I grew up with; it was so flavourful and well-made. The smoked tri trip and brisket were good; I loved the Kampot peppers that were used. While the slaw and garlic noodles weren't my thing, I loved the coconut corn - it reminded me of the burn whole corn I grew up eating in Phnom Penh by the riverside - with fish sauce, coconut cream, and spring onions. - Long Beach Nachos: Pulled pork served on crunchy corn nachos with smoked cheddar cheese, smoked Cambodian-style coconut cream, choice of smoked meats, Battambong BBQ sauce, aioli, Mexican creme, tapatio sauce, guacamole, jalapanos, pickles, and hot peppers. $15 I wasn't a big fan of nachos because the cheese wasn't melted throughout, instead it formed a top layer with the nachos underneath. It did have a decent portion of meat, so I'll give them that. Orders took a while, but given this was a festival, I can understand why. The one star of fis for pricing and options - the spare ribs were sold out 2 hours into a 6 hour event, which was disappointing. I'd probably come back and try them when they're at the brewery again.

I really wanted to like this place. I have always supported the BBQ places at Smorgasburg (Moo's, Smokequeen, etc). I have been to Austin, Houston and have had many great BBQs there including Franklins. I must say, this place was disappointing. First, you can see from the photo I took the first thing you see is the slice of brisket which is like 80% fat. Bro, why even serve that to a customer that is paying premium for brisket? No one is trying to get a bit of 100% fat. Anyway, besides that, it was underseasoned which was a shocker to me. The chicken was mid and the sausage was ok.

Usually a lot of IG review on food places disappointment me but not this bbq joint. I tried their BBQ at the SEA Night market in Lodi, CA. I would have to say their brisket is good as Texas bbq. Garlic noodles & Mac n' cheese is good. Their Cambodian sausage was meh but it's because I'm used to eating Lao sausage so their sausage might be good to you.

I enjoyed the food at a pop up at Ten Mile Brewing Company. The guys were super friendly and awesome. I ordered and thoroughly enjoyed the pulled pork nachos very much. Probably one of the best versions of barbecue nachos I've ever had.

As a slightly unexpected review for this page-I actually had my first Battambong experience at Coachella! They were a vendor in the food hall, and while I had thought I would be getting tacos, the moment I saw the words "ribs" on their menu I knew what my body which had already walked a mere 8 miles in the festival that day needed. Ribs are love, ribs are life, and these ones did not miss. Only slightly hallucinating, I asked the staff for help deciding how many ribs I should get. The worker was so kind, and helped make my Coachella experience that much better. Next thing you know, I'm sitting down facing the most beautiful meat I believe I have ever laid eyes on. Batta-bing batta-boong, the ribs were inhaled and I felt alive again. The meat fell off the bone, and their side of coconut corn was intriguing and also delish. Feeling grateful for ribs and Battambong as a whole.

Great food. THE SAUCES?! Best tasting I've ever had. Great service and you can bet I'm coming back for that tri-tip... #moreplease

    Ribs, pork belly combo

I've been following this pitmaster since he started. I finally got the opportunity to go and experience this magic. Follow him on social media to find out where he is for the day. This is a pop up location. There are several different kinds of meats, but we got ribs, pork belly and Cambodian sausage. I've never had Cambodian sausage before, but it was really tasty. The outside had a nice crispy snap to it. It was very good. The pork belly was amazing. Great semi sweet sauce. Grilled to perfection. The ribs were awesome, perfect consistency, pulled off the bone nicely. Very tender. The meals came with: garlic noodles, very yum Cambodian corn, I'm not sure what was in it, but it was good. Pickled slaw- And I love pickled anything. And it came with like a pickled spicy jalapeño slaw. I could eat this by the gallon. This was delicious. I sampled the brisket and omg. So good. We'll be back.

I have been craving for good BBQ. We stopped by a a local farmers market, and found this Texas Cambodian BBQ. The amazing aroma was irresistible. I ordered the brisket, pork belly, and pulled pork. This is one of the best BBQ I have ever had in Southern California! The meat was very tender, juicy, and flavorful. The pork belly was crispy on the outside, and it was not oily! It came with garlic noodles, sweet corn, and coleslaw. The garlic noodle was a little dry, but not a deal breaker. The sweet corn was tasty. The coleslaw was a bit sour, which balance out all the meat I had. I will come back for more BBQ for sure. Street parking is available. There was also live music at the farmers market.

I was really excited to try Cambodian bbq at Smorgasburg from watching all the tiktoks, but unfortunately I was disappointed. The cashier and workers were super friendly and gave me extra banana peppers and pickles. My friends and I got the 3 meat platter including smoked brisket, smoked tri-tip, and twako (Cambodian sausage) for $40. Tri-tip was so dry that I literally could not swallow. There was absolutely no fat on it as you can tell from my picture. The sausage was pretty good, very flavorful but the casing was a tad chewy. The brisket was the saving grace for sure, very juicy and tender. Definitely one of the better briskets I've had! To be honest, the sides were mediocre. Corn looks and was very plain, pickled veggies were refreshing, and garlic noodles were super garlicky but a little dry (lacking slurp-ability). The classic barbecue sauce was delish, and the spicy one was actually spicy! Overall, I had an OK experience. I would go again to try the spare ribs and get the brisket again. The brisket and sauce deserves a 5, but the tri-tip was so tough and deserves a 1... I will give them the benefit of the doubt and say that the dine-in restaurant will probably serve better food.

Where is this located? Only open on Saturday?

Best to follow them on IG @battambongbbq, they're at Bixby Knolls farmers market 3-7pm on Thursdays and Ten Mile brewery in Signal Hill - weekends I think. They'll be there this Saturday Aug 6th for sure...

Pretty good barbecue!…read more We ordered several combo platters, sampling through a variety of meats. The Spareribs and Brisket were very flavorful and satisfying - but if I had to nitpick, the 'cue could've been just a bit more tender - the texture was just a shade off of the true "gold standard" sort of barbecue that I've had in the past. Nevertheless - the bold, smoky flavors hit the spot - impressive stuff overall! Would recommend. PS - The beer selection here ain't too shabby, either!

To say service is very poor would be understatement. Arrived on Saturday and sat at open seating in the bar area at a table. After waiting over 30 minutes (and just observing the lady that was working the section socializing with guest like she could care less about helping take my order). So after waiting and watching the two lady bar servers continue to have extended conversations and pretty much ignoring myself and my guest...I walked to the bar and asked the bartender if anyone was taking orders in the open seating indoor area that we were sitting at. The bartender told me that the ladies working the section had to help wash dishes and basically unable to take myself and my guest orders. We ended up walking out and went to a neighboring restaurant along the waterfront strip. How hard would have it had been to take a couple of orders or at the very least say "Hello" or "Give us a minute we are a little busy". Don't keep talking to your favorite customers and continue to walk by myself and my guest without saying something. The whole vibe seemed like the moral at this establishment with this shift is very low. Teach your servers to engage with all guest instead of have social hour during their shift...at the bare minimum again, a simple "hello" or "I'll help you in a moment" This happened on Saturday 02/28/2026 from 4pm through 4:35 pm (if management wants to look at the cameras and see just how disengaged the staff was during this shift).

DINNER FOR TWO SPECIAL…read more I don't know what's up with the mid reviews, this place is great for what it is!! Walking in is like being transported out of Long Beach and to the south.... Or a diner in big bear lake. It's charming. Anyways, I ordered the dinner for 2 for my mother and father. It came with a bit of bbq chicken, half rack of ribs, tri tip, catfish, cornbread, 2 sides, okra, sweet Potatoe fries and fried green tomatoes. I ordered myself a full rack baby back rib combo and it also came with two sides. French fries and mac. On top of that I ordered some hush puppies . I did not realize that I ordered that much food!!! It was sooo much. Cornbread - meh doesn't really have enough flavor but it's warm and you can add butter. The catfish- the breading was nice and crispy. French fries and mac and cheese- you can't ness that up. The tri tip- probably the best protein that we ate. Very soft. Ribs- needed more bbq sauce but you can order more. It was way better the next day when I heated them up. Chicken- I didn't eat it. My mom did. Hush puppies- fried cornbread. Not my thing. Sweet Potatoe fries- staple Fried green tomatoes- surprised me, that was actually good for literally a fried green tomato Okra- first bites, amazing, after a few it was too soggy for me. Just get the dinner for two. It's more than enough and you get to try a little bit of everything for 58 + dollars. Was it amazing? Not everything, but I appreciate the portion sizes and the variety.

I ordered delivery so expected the food to be more lukewarm than hot but was excited about the taste! It arrived and smelled wonderful and was surprisingly still steaming hot when I dig into the bag. Sadly, the flavor on the ribs was a fun and spicy as I prefer. But I was hopeful the strawberry lemonade would be a life changing as I was told. I grabbed a straw, punctured the cup, and took a big gulp waiting for the sugar high I was craving! Sadly, it too was less than I desired. Then the Mac and cheese wasn't as flavorful either. I began wondering what type of pallet my co-worker had? This is BBQ for babies. I did finish the food but definitely had to do some "doctoring up" of my own. C'mon Johnny, reach for the stars! Kick up the flavor and add more suga' to that lemonade! Every time I see you when I drive by, I wanna get excited but it just isn't happening...yet. I'll give it another try someday.
