The food was delicious! Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection, and the service was great! Its also a plus that the place is beautiful as well

Went to Bison & Bourbon for a nice night out, and it was a great time. The food was fantastic, the vibes were great, and we genuinely left full and happy. We started with the 7th Street Pizza, which came out hot, crispy, and full of flavor--definitely a solid appetizer to kick things off. Then came the chicken tenders, which completely surprised us. They weren't your typical tenders--these were wrapped in a crispy onion and beer batter that added a whole new level of flavor and texture. Super crunchy, super juicy--just really well done and great value for money! The highlight was the tomahawk steak. 22oz I think, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor. All in all, we were really impressed. Great food, generous portions, and a place we'll definitely be coming back to. And we have to shout out the service--it was spot-on the entire night. Our server, Juan, was attentive, and knew the menu well. Everything came out at a good pace, and we never felt rushed or overlooked. It really made the whole experience that much better!

Came here dinner after work with coworkers . I ordered the passion fruit mojito and asked to not have simple syrup otherwise it will be too sweet . I enjoyed it. We had a few appetizers, the tacos , crispy cauliflower , and some beef dish I forgot the name off but it was so soft and yummy. Amongst the four of us we each ordered a steak . Meal was great , staff friendly ! Will be back !

Tuna tartare that didn't taste great and looked awful

The only thing this place has going for it is its glatt kosher status, which falls way short of the high expectations I had when the very dim lighting covers up the overcooked dried out dry aged prime rib that I ordered medium rare. and the tuna tartare arrived, plated like some vomit a toddler stuck their fingers through to draw with. the service was average, overpowered by the excessively loud music that prevented conversatoon or helped the awkward date where nothing is said. I wouldn't give it another chance, but I'm ready to support the next kosher steakhouse or see if they'd hire a chef that is willing to help pick up their slack for the prices they charge.

Great service, food and value. Appetizers are very solid, we had the wings, pastrami and the fried cauliflower. Felt a bit "one note" in terms of flavor, but was an excellent start. The mains here are obviously the steaks. Delmonico is $10 price difference for bacon and fried onions. I asked for mine medium, but it came more rare/med rare so I asked them to send it back, and then it was perfect. We had managers come to our table asking if everything was OK, which was the first time I've ever seen that in a while! Dessert was good too.

Place design is beautiful and unique!!

Best restaurant by far from all nyc restaurants. It's kosher and amazing,! Every dish look like Michelin dish. Best service I ever got in nyc! And there cocktails was booming! The tequila sunrise is highly recommended!! I felt like I'm celebrity the moment I step in!

    Bourbon flat bread pulled beef

Came into Bison and Bourbon a Sunday evening during COVID time. For me and my wife's 3rd anniversary Overall vibe was on point. Elegant music, and safe social distancing (outdoors)- yet still 'popping' with people enjoying their meal. Our waiter Lavon was very professional and offered stellar recommendations. We ordered A passion fruit mojito - delicious as expected :) bourbon pulled beef flatbread - delicious pulled beef on a crispy flatbread. Cordon bleu- pastrami wrapped with fried chicken. This was special. Delicious blend of flavors and sauces. Toasted chicken waffles - never tried this combo before. Sweet and yummy. And we split a surprise steak - cooked medium and absolutely perfect. For dessert we had the lava cake.

Possibly the most bland and overpriced food in Gowanus. The place is spacious and has a good vibe but not worth it.

The atmosphere really sets it apart--those soaring ceilings and massive windows create an airy, open feel that's perfect for daytime drinking, and the sports decor adds character without being over the top. Despite being a sports bar (I'm sure it gets lively during Knicks playoff games), it was surprisingly family-friendly during our visit. We saw several other families, including one with a small baby, and the vibe was welcoming and chill. It wasn't crowded, so we could sit wherever we wanted. On this visit, we tried the deviled eggs, french fries, and Sonoran dog, all of which were tasty and came out impressively fast. The drinks are solid too: my Negroni was well-made, and they have well-priced beers and decent cocktails throughout. Daily specials make it even more budget-friendly. The staff is friendly and laid-back, which matches the overall vibe. Bonus points for being dog-friendly with a sidewalk patio, and the hours (weekdays 3-11pm, weekends 12-11pm) work well for both afternoon hangs and evening plans. Super convenient if you're hitting up BAM.

When I did move further inside, FancyFree was quite roomy. There are plenty of high tables and a full bar. I ordered a Moscow Mule which tasted a bit flat and it was NOT served to me in the classic tin mug. I'm convinced that the tin mug affects the cold levels and flavor of that cocktail. Our server, Pierre, was really attentive and pleasant. It was a fun night-big crowd. It's a shame I didn't get to experience their food menu. A server zipped passed me with some goodies that I must try. I'll be back.

The energy was more mature which I preferred in a sports bar. Tons of benches, some bar seating and pool tables in the back. Lots of tvs as well, saw all the March Madness games playing. We were debating between regular wings or smoked and best decision of the night was picking the smoked wings. It was crisp and not too saucy, keeping the wings as the key. Service: 5/5 There was only one waitress and one bartender at the time, but service was very quick. We did not have to wait for anything. Ambiance: 5/5 We were looking for a sports bar to eat at before going to the Nets game. Fulton Hall is only few minutes walk from Barclays. Walked in and was able to get a seat without reservation, but it definitely filled up by 6/7 pm. The place is dimly lit and the tables are quite small. For the food, we got their Brussel sprouts, shrimp, salmon entree and chicken entree. Our favorite were definitely the shrimp. But everything else when eaten together tasted a bit too greasy and felt monotonous in terms of flavor. Brussel sprouts were fried and held to a decent amount of oil, then the addition of tahini made it even more oily. Pan chicken we expected whole pieces of chicken but it was more like a thin chicken cutlet. The salmon came with a cauliflower puree which tasted so rich (with butter), but I couldn't finish it bc it was so rich.
