We were greeted as soon as we walked in and seated shortly thereafter, but then we were ignored/overlooked for about 10 minutes until I got up to go find someone. The server I spoke to apologized and said she'd be right over, which she was - with water. I ordered an Arnold Palmer and French toast with scrambled eggs and bacon. Hubby ordered coffee and the corned beef hash with scrambled eggs and biscuits. My Arnold Palmer tasted very metallic and I had to send it back as I couldn't drink it. She did ask if I wanted something else and I decided on hot chocolate. (No, I was not charged for the Arnold Palmer.) The food was good. Basic French toast, but nice and thick. Scrambled eggs are as I prefer them, without added salt and pepper. Let the guest add that themselves! The bacon did seem a bit salty, but that's not the fault of the restaurant. Hubby enjoyed his meal, though also found it to be pretty basic. His corned beef hash didn't have a lot of flavor. It appeared to have very little onion and potatoes which would have added flavor. Our server did use a coupon to give us a discount because of our wait, which I appreciated. We might go back because it is nearby, but we won't be regulars.
This place was a letdown for us. The food was mediocre at best. They did two things well. The homemade strawberry jelly was killer. And the fries/ranch were also incredible. Our poor server was the only one there with at least 12 tables on a Saturday morning she was running around the best she could but simple things like drinks being refilled just wasn't going to happen. Again no fault to her she was lovely but the manager clearly didn't staff accordingly... I had the turkey burger and took about two bites. The turkey patty was the worst I've ever had. There was chunks of bone or something in it because it was crunchy eating it. I was really hoping for the fact that the name was biscuits Café that the biscuits would be better but again they too were just mediocre. Ultimately, we won't be back -- and I would recommend saving your money and picking a different breakfast spot.
Most breakfast places are lined up out the door so we were surprised to walk into Biscuits and they had tables available. We were handed menus and then greeted with a pot of coffee brought to our table. Service was good, and they kept my coffee warmed. The only down side was the very sticky floor from the bathroom to the table. I don't know if they were using a strange cleaner or if there had been a big spill but it was very sticky. Prices are a tad high with most breakfast plates near $20, but that won't keep me away because they serve very large portions so I will share next time. We had to try the filled donut to start with. It was delicious and freshly made, although we did not find the filling. I had the breakfast burrito for my main course and brought half of it home. It came with a side of hash browns and was delectable.
I enjoy coming here but don't get here enough. With hubby having a birthday we decided to come for breakfast. Warm and welcoming. I enjoyed the Christmas music playing in the background. The hot chocolate was delightful. Our meals were tasty and I had the best of both worlds with a chocolate chip pancake and an omelette (the meats) Hubby enjoyed his monte christo and the potatoes were seasoned perfectly. Great place to gather with family and friends.
Was hungry for breakfast and decided to stop at Biscuits because I was driving by and had been to the chain numerous times in the past. I ordered a coffee and meat lover's omelette without the sausage. It came with a side of potatoes and pancakes. The omelette was loaded with ham and bacon, however the meat was folded in between the eggs and not cooked into the eggs. I prefer the filling be mixed into the eggs while cooking and not after. It was still very good and the pancakes were a heaping stack of two and cooked moist. The waitress was nice and checked in frequently. She was attentive ooin the coffee tI'd recommend stopping by one of the restaurants.
I had a pretty good experience ordering through Door Dash today - that said, I can't tell you about the actual location because I didn't go in :) Things I loved: the texture and flavor of the bacon, the coffee/hot chocolate combo, the packaging of takeout food, the buy one get one free pancake breakfast special w three pancakes, two eggs, 3 pieces of bacon or sausage Things that I didn't love as much: the pancakes didn't come w enough syrup, the scrambled eggs were not my fav. But overall I really enjoyed the breakfast and we will for sure try it in person for the full effect!
I tried this place again hoping it would improve in time. It's still just ok. My Friend had the country omelet. Which was just ok. I had the Huevos Rancheros which were bland. The beans tasted like straight outta the can. The waitress didn't even smile. The person who actually bought our food out was superb. Friendly smile courteous. I could of probably had a better served meal at IHOP. The bathroom was clean and out of soap n towels on one side. Overall the presentation for the Huevos rancheros was great. If only they tasted that way. The ambiance was nice tho. I don't mind spending the money to eat if the food is great. Not so in this case. Either way it's just an opinion.
I love the atmosphere of this restaurant! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. For the food, we ordered buttermilk pancakes, and chicken fried steak with biscuits. The pancakes and chicken fried steak were nothing special, but I have to say their biscuits were so good! They were soft on the inside and crispy on the outside, served with butter and strawberry jam, I couldn't stop eating them.
This location has good staff.Hannah &!l Yaz (servers), Dina. Love the Chorizo burrito & hash browns with cheese on top.
The service was A little slow but very friendly. They were short staffed so that's no doubt the reason they were Slow. But still very kind and accurate orders. The food was really good. My bacon was cooked to perfection and the fruit I ordered was sweet and firm. The biscuit was soft and flaky. The gravy tasted instant. My husband got the breakfast burrito and it was delicious. Our daughter had the French Toast Flight. It was so aesthetically pleasing and tasted good too. The drinks were okay for a brunch spot. We would definitely go back. They gave us $5 gift cards for each alcoholic beverage we ordered and because we were there on a Monday during slow season we received10% off our breakfast.
We haven't tried this establishment, but my wife suggested it last night. Stated out ok as we were seated within a couple of minutes of entering. We were given menus to presume and the waiting started. I think we waited at least 15 minutes before someone even acknowledged we were sitting in a booth. My wife actually stood and approached a server before someone came to our table. We ordered everything at once. My wife asked for an Arnold Palmer and French Toast and I got coffee and the corned beef hash. Our drinks came and my wife asked me to taste hers. It had a metallic taste to it, so wife got hot chocolate instead. Our food was mediocre at best. Not the best we had but not the worst. The portions were kind of big. My corned beef hash only had onions and a few small potatoes, where I am used to having some peppers in it. Our server did take my coffee, my wife's Arnold Palmer and $10 of our order to make up for no one noticing us.
Very friendly service. Very prompt service from the kitchen. Food was well cooked. A little on the pricey side though. I got the original breakfast and a cup of coffee and my bill was $23. Add a $4 tip for total of $27 for breakfast. That's not cheap.
Very friendly service, clean, and delicious food- this place feels small town cafe even though it's a chain. I had the country omelette and my husband had a breakfast burrito. Portions are HUGE- you will leave with tons of leftovers!

First time here, place is packed on the weekend. Had a party of five, 830 in the morning on a Wednesday. Open seating environment and happy to see they have servers and open for business. Lots of breakfast options for just about everyone. Portions are large and prices are reasonable. Service was a bit slow and wait time for food is not on the money. I can imagine that could be an issue on a busy weekend. They have signs on the door stating they are not a fast food place so they must be a bit sensitive to that issue. I had the Country Benedict served with red potato, two poached eggs with sausage on english muffin halves and smothered with country gravy. Flavors were good, eggs cooked perfectly, country gravy was warm. Will be back, just need to bring a bit more patience and a larger appetite. read more

First timer. Pass it all the time. Stopped in at 1:30 on Saturday. Place was busy. Greeted warmly. Sat down and had the privilege of Wanda serving us. Funny.. and attentive. We did breakfast . Delicious!! My only complaint ... I ordered Poached eggs medium. They arrived iced cold and runny. Clearly they made them and sat in the pass while my husbands entree was being cooked. I was disappointed in that only. The sausage links were incredible. The hash browns were great! Husband had an omelette that was huge and a side if pancakes. We'll be back. Just won't get poached eggs. read more

We went to biscuits for an amazing meal! The service was great and staff was super friendly. The biscuits and homemade strawberry jam was fabulous. The gravy was a little sweet which I wasn't used to (from the south not the west coast). It had an inviting ambiance with lots of people to enjoy the classic diner foods. Cannot complain at all. Food was great, service was great, all around enjoyable experience. read more

Aesthetics-10/10, Customer Service- 8/10, Food-1/10. Food was soggy, no flavor, had a chorizo omelette didn't taste spicy nor seasoned at all. Flights were decent and french toast tasted like bread with whip cream and fruit on top. Would not recommend if you like your food to have flavor. read more

First time customer: My delivery order yesterday morning was simply amazing. I was happy with the extra gravy I bought, too. This lasted me the entire day. It will be my go-to place for scrumptious breakfast comfort food! read more

I'm a little mixed feelings on my visit to Biscuits Cafe. First off I was highly surprised when we pulled up a little after noon on a Sunday and the parking lot was empty. I had to double check there hours cause I thought they were closed but they were opened. As you could see from my picture it was very empty with only 2 other tables taken. Another surprise was how long it took for us to be greeted and then seated. For as empty as it was we should've been greeted within seconds and seated right away. Once we got seated our server was very kind and friendly. My next surprise was the prices!! $6.29 for flavored Lemonade with no refills. I could understand if there was alcohol in but it was just Lemonade. As far as food, we ordered the Keeping it Simple where you pick 3 items to build your plate. We choose the French toast, Pancake and Ham steak. This plate was delicious. For the amount of food that came on the plate, it was worth the price. We also ordered the BBQ Bacon Western Burger. This burger was massive! It was made for a great Instagram photo but definitely not made to easily eat. I had to remove a lot of the insides just so I can attempt to but it. Then when I went to take a bit the bread was so hard I couldn't even boot into it. My knife wouldn't even cut it. So I ate it like an open faced sandwich. I must say though, our server was very apologetic and they did take care of it. These might be reasons why it was empty on a Sunday afternoon. To be honest, we probably won't be back. read more

We stopped here while on vacation in Phoenix. We asked to sit outside and we had the most wonderful waitress. She was attentive and helpful when we asked questions about the menu. We were the only ones outside but she was happy to wait on us. The food itself was great! My son and I both had eggs Benedict, and my daughter had the French toast all was delicious. read more

**TIP YOUR SERVER WITH CASH IN HAND** I have been to this Biscuits location two times already and the servers are excellent, food is good (today we had an extremely long wait for the food but that's understandable with knowing how everyone is understaffed right now) but the check out process is the WORST! We love tipping especially more for great service and the lady pressed the "no tip" button for us two visits in a row now. Like dude can you please slow down and let us add our tip? Then she said she will tip her for us- really? Are you really going to leave a nice tip? Can we request the amount? It was just ridiculous. I feel sorry for now two of our servers and I will now owe two servers a tip next time I go back. The first server wasn't there today- maybe she was sick of getting shafted. Other than that- the veggie omelette is good- chicken fajita omelette was bad and the biscuits are good- Strawberry jam is FIRRRRE! And the sourdough toast was fabulous. Just be careful with checking out. Oh and she will try to run your card again without canceling the first transaction. Don't fall for it. This place needs to be rescued before people stop going. read more

Went to Biscuits Cafe not knowing what to expect with recent reviews... but my son had been asking to go for a while as he loves their cinnamon rolls. So I decided to surprise them on their day off of school. Diane was amazing! She was attentive and we had great service! There were 6 of us... my husband joined us for a quick lunch break, and our 4 boys. She even let my son walk with her to ring up our check as he wanted to "pay" for the meal. If the store manager is reading this... hold on to Diane! She is amazing and you are lucky to have such a hard working employee who serves with joy! read more
Well my first time here and I have to say it was alright. Honestly the place looks great compared to the old restraunt that was here. The menu is food lots of options. The service was also good. Food came out in a decent time. One thing I really enjoyed is the coffe hot chocolate mix they have on menu delicious. Also there biscuits here are fresh made... to die for they are freaking good. There potatoes are not fresh you can taste the difference and well just say the chicken fried steak is not the best I have ever had. But all in all I give this place a try it if your close but no need to go out of your way. If you do make sure and try the biscuits best part of this establishment! read more

We went to Biscuits Cafe today for the first time at 91st and Thunderbird. Wow!!! What an awesome breakfast! The bacon was unbelievable, and they are generous too! The potatoes were great too, and "reds". Very nice seating, furniture, atmosphere, etc! Great waitress too! We will be back probably tomorrow. Can't wait! Yum! Mike and Jan Anthem read more
I must say I pleasantly surprised at how this Biscuits cafe is set up. Tables are spaced so not crowded, servers are great very helpful. This is by far the best one I have been and maybe because it's new. My server today was Mandi and she was back and forth making sure we were doing good and the refills kept coming. I got the Joes Scramble and a cinnamon roll that I split with my husband. It was cooked to perfection potatoes were nice and soft, but not mushy. read more

my favorite brunch spot!! the food is amazing and well portioned (i've had the bacon flight, french toast flight, pancakes, breakfast platter, and cinnamon roll and everything has been so tasty), the menu is large and has great looking vegan options, the coffee is delicious (house coffee and fancy lattes), it's always clean, and the service is outstanding. it is clear the team cares about their jobs, the food, and most importantly, the customers. Darcy and Stephanie are both always fabulous and i look forward to seeing them every time i go in. read more
