Ambience. B Service. A Food. B Price. B Found in private parking lot on main avenue of Broadway. Also, adjacent to permanent Mexican food truck Antijitos Jalisco! I ordered via UberEats to get a BOGO for Singapore noodles. Great deal for Price. Service was friendly and verified name and order and special requests. Albeit, I found the signapore had some key ingredients the glass noodles... I found the flavor lackluster of curry. I'm glad I requested hot chile oil on side and when I got home I just sprinkled on more curry. I wonder if I cold have requested to have more spicy curry flavor?!! Hmm. Also, this dish was missing more egg , green onions, and baby shrimp and char shu pork. The only protein was chicken. It's true. Every cook is different. But this is not what I was expecting for signapore noodles. Sigh Anyway, I made my dish edible. I do like they have outdoor seating as well as sparse indoor seating. I'll give either of the places a try again sometime down the road just not rushing to get there. ONE Good thing they OPEN late?!! Shall see... NOT yet a. FaN?!! read more

I ordered the chicken plate. The chicken was unseasonably but it looked seasoned. The rice tasted good but stale. Good beans. Not good guacamole. Not good pico de gallo. They have a huge menu. On the plus side, there is a salsa bar. read more

Quick, quick, quick. Ordered online and ended up arriving way earlier than the designated pick-up time. Everything was packed & ready. Large portions of chicken and the side salad was a nice addition, which included a tasty, sweet dressing on the side. read more

Nice teriyaki restaurant offer a large selection of Japanese and chinese food. I stopped by here for lunch after shopping at a neighboring supermarket. Restaurant is very popular for the local lunchtime workers. I ordered the chicken teriyaki with Goyza lunch special. You order at the counter and the counter woman will bring the order to you if you eat in. The teriyaki chicken was nicely grilled and tasty; but heavy on the sauce. Goyza were crispy and filled moist pork filling. Side cole slaw salad also came with the dish. Overall, an enjoyable meal. read more

All and all I love this place. I just tried it my first time tonight since I moved in the area. I ordered to go the teriyaki and shrimp combo with white rice & a drink. When I came in I was greeted and the aura of the cashier was on point (nice guy). I asked about how long it might take he said 9-12 min. Great. So I stepped outside and came back in (it was exactly that wait time) a love a place that doesn't BS lol. The place on the inside looks clean there's a waiting bench if you want to sit down and wait for your order. There's chairs and tables for dine in. I asked for extra sauce in my bag but tbh they made it just right it didn't need extra. Rice was fresh. I drove home and took two trips to my car before actually sitting down and eating and my food was still really warm! I love fresh food. Definitely will be coming back thank you ! read more

Very delicious, reliable chicken! I love the yakisoba chicken combo, but this time chose the standard combo, very good. The chicken was moist and charred perfectly with the sauce. I wish that the salad was served in the side container so I could have more chicken. The rice was very fluffy. I wish they served teriyaki sauce on the side but it was very well done. Will definitely get takeout again soon!! read more

Unassuming teriyaki joint right off Broadway, Teriyaki and Wok is now one of my work lunch staples. If you have been here before and didn't like it, know that new owners just took over here and they improved it in all categories. It is now cheaper, tastes better and the portions are bigger! Make sure to give this place another try! read more

Made an order online, payed for it. Went to pick it up and the dude at the counter said they didn't receive it and that the online orders are still from "old owners" and I need to contact them. (It's literally the same menu) they also said they can't make my food that I already paid for. If you purchase a business, you should also transfer all the online orders, i cant even get a refund. The new owners are not friendly or helpful. Definitely miss the former owners. read more

We ordered take out from this place. They were pretty quick in the service. The food was hot. They have limited veg options. Katsu was little hard but it was the best of the three items ordered. General Chicken was bland in flavors. Kung Pao Chicken was spicy but seemed to have been cooked in reused oil. read more

Food and service because they make you feel your at home no bad customers and 2 train rides there and home IN COLUMBIA CITY

I've ordered take out from here a couple times for lunch during week and I was quite surprised with the quality of the food! I guess I just didn't have any recommendations and was craving teriyaki one day. My partner and I ordered one teriyaki and one tofu and veggie dish to share. Out of the two entrees I actually liked the tofu and veggie one the best! (Shocking because I'm usually all about the meat dishes!) But I really loved the sauce they cooked the tofu and veggies in. The teriyaki was pretty good but I thought the chicken was a little on the dry side. Overall, if you're craving teriyaki or Chinese type food, this will hit the spot! Will be ordering here more in the future! read more

Great place, huge portions. Definitely part of genuine Seattle, very worth a visit or 5! :D

Chicken wasn't tasty and fresh. I really tried to give it a chance. Paid $20 for a meh lunch and didn't finish it.

Two super nice ladies run this place. Yummy teriyaki chix and tonkatsu. And the logo is wack -- picture a rabid dog with a black beard wearing chopsticks and a weiner as hair decoration. Actually, you don't have to picture it cuz I've included a photo of it here and it's actually a smiling bowl of rice. Almost cute! read more

Not good. Pre cooked food. Tastes bad. Maybe if they made their food fresh, but they don't. Rip off.

I was told this was the "teriyaki spot" for capitol hill and my vibe is the person that said that was absolutely right. If you're one of those people who likes burnt edges on your chicken or super sweet sauces - this is not the right chicken for you. But! If you're one of those people who loves tender delectable chicken with a sauce with just a hint of sweetness -this is the teriyaki chicken for you! Standard bonuses, nice rice scoop. Crispy iceburg salad. Generous portion. Made two meals out of it. Loved it overall. Will be back! read more

This food was terrible, and the service was horrific. People were not friendly from the start which should have been a red flag. There was a sign with an image depiction of food that looked delicious. The people brought it out, and the meal was absolutely NOTHING but corn and small red flecks of pepper. Seriously. That is IT. We asked if we could get help with hopefully getting an alternative meal. Or adding something but it looked terrible but my the host said there would be no chance. After giving up,and not trying to be rude, my friend decided to keep eating it, and we to continue the meal. Then absolutely worst thing that could have happened, while eating, I pulled a LONG HAIR out if my food! Yuck! At this point, we just got up and left. I wish I wouldn't have tipped so much and before I got the meal. This was the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. :( read more

I have been here a few times, but this time placed order through Amazon Restaurants. The food is above what you would normally expect of teriyaki places and is a good value. This time I had the chicken teriyaki with egg roll along with the fried rice. The teriyaki is good, but I really like the egg roll (the gyoza are a good choice as well. It also comes with a salad. The fried rice is a mix of chicken, beek, and shrimp. The portion size is not huge, but it tastes good (particularly the shrimp). Food is made to order and service is pretty quick. It is nice that they have a few parking spots as well. read more

Teriyaki and wok has been a staple for me for years. Their teriyaki is the best! The sauce is just right , not too sweet or overpowering. They have lots of other great food options as well! Plus it's one of the last unpretentious places to get food on the hill, generous portions and good prices too Of course no review of Teriyaki and Wok would be complete without mentioning Jamie. She is the extremely sweet proprietor- anyone who goes here will tell you how wonderful she is. Jamie has made teriyaki and Wok like a home away from home for me and many others. She always remembers your name even if you haven't been there for years and she truly makes you feel like family So a big shout out to Jamie and the delicious food at Teryaki and Wok! read more

I love eating here every time I come home this is where I make sure I stop. Every time I go it gets better and better each time. I got the simple meal: Teriyaki Chicken with rice and salad. Its their original and mine too. Ahhh I was in heaven to be honest. I also order their tea I love it. Its a good flavor and I like it. Its just a green tea, maybe the brand. In the winter time it hits the spot. I wish NYC has a tasty teriyaki spot like this. I love how much seating it has and how many open seats during lunch time has because everyone one takes out and ends up leaving with their food. Its great fast, delicious, fully cooked chicken. I usually get the chicken breasts, but it was just great the way it is. It was placed all nice and perfect on the plate too. I love the lady who works the front, she is a gem. She even reminder me, even with an afro. (its been 1 year and half). read more

I'm always impressed with how hard the woman in front is running around trying to do everything. The owner could hire someone else to help this poor woman get a break. Overall... I'm impressed. My boss ordered us takeout, and I was pretty disappointed with my spicy chicken teriyaki. The pieces of chicken were small and hard, and the sauce was greasy, flavorless, and weak with the spice. The potstickers were similarly bland. There is no way I could justify eating food from here again with so many other great teriyaki options, even when the price tag is "free". read more

Every retail block of Seattle seems to have at least one teriyaki place, making it the teriyaki capital of the world. Unfortunately, I don't think this abundance of teriyaki establishments has led to better teriyaki. Teriyaki & Wok has the typical teriyaki menu, with teriyaki, Chinese stir fry dishes (e.g., broccoli beef, Mongolian beef, Kung pao chicken, sweet & sour chicken), fried rice, noodles, sides, and California rolls. I thought that since many of the teriyaki establishments are owned by Koreans, it might be safe to order something Korean. * Korean ramen ($6.50) http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/3FwIk6lP452e_2BOnvwAMQ?userid=NOUfyJW-BAo_-Cbfo8edww: I guess it is ramen...instant ramen. Yes, they used instant ramen noodles but they made it taste a bit better by adding some veggies (broccoli, carrots, cabbage, onion, mushrooms), small fried tofu cubes, and changing the broth. It was warm and comforting though I couldn't get over the instant noodles. I didn't see anything Korean about it. It was supposed to have spicy broth and the broth wasn't spicy at all. * Chicken teriyaki meal ($7.29) http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/3FwIk6lP452e_2BOnvwAMQ?select=WbDq3DQklDGMpZfQtRgSVg: two big scoops of steamed white rice, a simple green salad packaged separately with a sweet miso dressing, small pieces of skinless, boneless marinated chicken in a sweet teriyaki sauce. The chicken was tender enough but didn't have much evidence of grilling. The sauce wasn't too sweet or too salty. You can ask for extra teriyaki sauce or sriracha. The meal was very plain. It would be better with kim chi or pickled ginger. At least sprinkle some sesame seeds on top of the chicken. Teriyaki restaurants in Seattle seem to have a similar ambiance, with bright lights and bad music (e.g., Backstreet Boys). Though it's hard to give Teriyaki & Wok three stars if you compare it to non-teriyaki restaurants, it is better than King's Teriyaki down the street. read more

This is one of the places I really miss since moving away from Capitol Hill. One of my favorite things about going here is how friendly and welcoming they are which has helped to build a very strong base of regular customers. The restaurant is always clean and well maintained which can be rare when it comes to teriyaki places. Everything I have ever ordered here has been really good and nothing has ever seemed like it has been made with low quality ingredients are by cutting any corners when it comes to preparation. The amount of food you get is good for the price you pay and I have always been satisfied with anything I have tried. Oh, and if you like really spicy food, ask for extra spicy, it really does have a good kick to it. Not super crazy hot, but much better than most places offer. read more

Teriyaki & Wok is my new favourite cheap eat on Broadway. You go inside, order quickly, and either wait at a table or in the little waiting area. The menu is extensive and clear, the woman who takes your order is cheerful and helpful, and the entire ordering process is quick and easy--perfect for me, because I exclusively get takeout here. You have to wait 5-10 minutes to get your food. But hey, there's free wifi! Play a couple of rounds of Angry Bird, check your email, whatever. When your food shows up, she'll ask if you want extra teriyaki sauce--score! The next step is to head home and devour the contents of that takeout box. Most offerings on their menu are under $10. Kind of impossible to find fault with what you get for that price. I'm a fan of the teriyaki and gyoza combination, but don't take my word for it. Go check it out yourself! read more

I walked by this place so many times but only decided to get into this place because I just want something quick, cheap and simple for dinner. Teriyaki & Wok has typical dishes/combo that you can think of of other teriyaki bowl places, like sesame chicken, ribs, gyoza, chicken teriyaki, fried rice, etc and with the price ranging between $7-12. Although the place appears to be clean and their food taste is just what you'd expect out of any quick teriyaki bowl joints, what made this place stands out is really customer service. The lady behind the counter working is simply one of the most gracious lady with customer service mind..and that's really hard to find these days. So for this bonus point, I wouldn't mind rating them higher than the 3 stars that I would have given for typical average teriyaki place..and actually wouldn't mind going there again next time. read more

Sadly underrated little restaurant in Capitol Hill on Broadway! I was on break from work one evening and looking for a quick bite for dinner. I was getting a little tired of eating at Dick's all the time, so I wandered here. I only saw one person working there, a helpful lady who appeared genuinely delighted that I was there. The place seems well-kept, and the bathroom was clean. Prices are also pretty low, which makes me wonder why more people don't come here. The fried rice I ordered came in a to-go box for some reason, even though I ordered it for here. But it was superb! It had a bit of a sweet taste to it if I'm not mistaken, at least compared to what I expect from fried rice. After I poured on the soy sauce, it became an amazing blend. And there was a ton of food in there; they must use those to-go boxes because they don't expect the average person to be able to finish the whole meal! I did anyway, and while it's not the most outstanding experience among all my restaurant visits, it's definitely enjoyable and worth another trip when I'm hungry and stop by the area again! read more
