The crew was great, very efficient and tidy - caused no collateral damage and were done in a day. I would absolutely recommend these guys and would use again, Thanks Christian

This is my 2nd time using Green Star Tree Service and I would recommend them. The first time I…read moreneeded to remove an unhealthy tree which could potentially crash over my neighbor's house with high winds or snow. Out of 3 quotes, Green Star had the best pricing and I went with them. The job was done safely, on time, and the crew cleaned up after themselves. This week I needed to use them again on an emergency basis. It was a very windy Sunday afternoon and a seemingly healthy 90+ foot silver maple in a different part of my yard came down hard. One large branch from the downed tree snagged another tree and that was the only thing keeping the tree from bisecting my neighbor's ranch house. The two trees together were now leaning over the house and I was worried they would both crash down together. Having used them before, I called Green Star immediately in a mild panic and told him this was an emergency as this tree could come down on my neighbor's house at any time. The owner of the owner of the company answered on a Sunday afternoon and he showed up quickly to assess the situation, gave me a fair quote, and called in his crew on their day off. I have to commend them for showing up with all of their heavy equipment at 5pm on a Sunday. They decided that using their crane over my neighbor's house was the best way to remove the fallen tree and I watched them work closely as you can imagine the liability concerns on my end. The Green Star crew were respectful of my neighbor's property and they worked carefully and safely again even as the sun was going down. I'm sure the other neighbors weren't too happy about the noise on a Sunday evening but I'm sure this is preferable to listening to contractors rebuild someone's roof for many days. The crew cleaned up nicely and even inspected the neighbors roof for damage while they were up there with the leaf blower. Good business owner (Christian) and hardworking crew -- would highly recommend them.

We hired A&H Tree Service based on a neighbor's referral to remove a few branches from a large tree…read morein our yard. They did remove the branches--and maybe one more than expected--but overall, the work itself was fine, and they cleaned up the debris. That said, the customer experience left a lot to be desired. Communication was lacking throughout, except when they repeatedly followed up for the deposit. They didn't tell us in advance that our driveway and front street needed to be clear for their truck, so my partner had to rush home from work to move the car. After the job, no photos were shared, and when I asked about the price and 3% credit card fee, they pointed to the contract. Fair enough--but it would've been helpful if they had mentioned that upfront. I offered to send cash or a check to avoid the surcharge, but they said credit card is now the only accepted method. Between the lack of communication and inflexibility, I wouldn't recommend them based on customer service alone. Hopefully the residue left on our vinyl fence comes off with a hose.

We've used A&H Tree Service multiple times now, and they've been wonderful to work with every…read moresingle time. From the initial quote to the final cleanup, they are consistently professional, reliable, and respectful of our property. Most recently, we had two large trees taken down--one of which was hanging over our greenhouse and needed to be removed with extra care. I felt completely comfortable and confident in their team. They showed up in company uniforms, arrived in clearly marked trucks with license numbers displayed, and operated with total professionalism throughout the job. What really stood out was how fair and thoughtful they were. We received a quote a full year earlier but weren't sure whether we wanted to take down just one tree or both. The tree expert at A&H actually recommended we observe how the trees impacted light and shade on our garden and greenhouse through the spring and summer before making a decision. That kind of no-pressure, customer-first approach really sealed the deal for us. When we were ready, they honored the original pricing and gave us a negotiated rate--which is rare and deeply appreciated. I always recommend A&H to friends and neighbors. If you want a tree service that's professional, honest, and skilled, this is the team to call.
