Had a giant, massive tree removed in front of my property…read more 1. Little to no communication. Was told I needed to have police come (an extra not cheap cost) at 8 am. So why didn't A & H's team show up until closer to ten? "They're coming, don't worry." Easy for him not to worry; I'm the one paying. When I asked Javier about it, "don't worry, you'll get reimbursed back for the time." -Never happened. Never saw a dime of that back. 2.-A year later, needed to get the remainder of the stump ground down. They wouldn't commit to a day or time, or time frame. Told me they'd give me notice. They texted me an hour before. I wasn't home. Did they grind it? -Hardly. They were there and left within 45 minutes, and lo and behold, the stump was not ground sufficiently. 3. We had to have them come back, further cost, and at no point do they EVER remove the mulch. So this is just cost upon cost. And yet again, no communication. 4. At no point do they communicate clearly. Javier seems bothered, constantly. People are dropping thousands of dollars for services, and he seems annoyed, quite frankly. Would leave messages, for about 2 weeks continuously getting told someone would call back. -I'd wait a few days, no call back. The most frustrating experience.

Two days later someone from Timberline called to make an appointment and told me the estimate costs $200. I told him that is not what the website or the person who answered the phone said. He told me the estimate is free only if we cut down the tree. That is not what is written. How can you trust a place that has false advertisement and lies before you use them . Everyone was very professional and worked very carefully and efficiently. After the trees were down, they THOROUGHLY cleaned, raked, and blew the area they worked in. They also neatly stacked the wood (as requested) in two areas for us. They were careful with surrounding plantings. They'll be back to do some pruning for us in the fall. Great work and reasonable. This was right at the heaviest time after the storm, when everyone's power was still out, there were trees blocking all the roads ... I must have called at least 20 different arborists and left messages for all of them. I got a call back from a scheduler in the office before long, and Bob Wilson came out to look at my property and give me an estimate later that same day. A very nice guy. He was able to schedule the crew to come out and do the work the very next morning. They showed up right when he said they would. The total bill came out to less than the estimated amount. I received a follow-up phone call the next day from someone in the office to make sure everything had been satisfactory, which it was. Later that next day, Bob himself dropped by unexpectedly in the middle of the nor'easter, snow blowing all over the place, to offer to give me a hand putting a tarp on the roof where the trees had crashed down on it.
