This is the place you always see driving past San tan, and I finally tried it. Sad to say, I was a bit disappointed. First though, it does have a great outdoor seating and large indoor seating area where you can do your order in a computer. The outdoor seating was not clean though so we had to make do. Our order took a while but there were people ahead of us which made sense. I ordered a salad with chicken which was $3 extra. They forgot my chicken. They added it but was not worth the price. The dressing was ok, my favorite part were the side of tots (which doesn't come with anything unless you get a pack) and the sauce. I also tried one of the burgers and it was ok.

I've gotten a couple things here and it hasn't disappointed! I recently got the lux 2slider box combo for $10 which I think is a decent deal. The lux was amazing so I'll be getting that probably everytime. I also noticed that their patio was fully gated and very huge, perfect to bring the littles to when the weather gets nicer.

We stopped by here for lunch and the food was cooked perfectly! The server, Dee, was super nice and checked in a couple of times after we got our food to make sure we had everything we need. The place was not crowded and the windows were open. The kids played the arcade game and had lots of fun.

Easy kiosk ordering system and food is quick! The original chicken sandwich was a great classic and the southern with pimento cheese and coleslaw was super tasty! Both the fries and tots were delish but the tots were for sure the star!

First off I have to say, amazing service. There was a kind older woman running the front kiosk and had a very welcoming aura. She had explained the self order kiosk and when I asked if she had any reccomandations she said the bees knees was really good. And i cannot lie it was sooooo delicious. Would 1000% recommend this as an amazing lunch spot for anyone looking for a good meal. Next, the overall vibe of this place matched so perfectly, i have ZERO complaints. I love local little spots like this and to be able to support a place offering good variety and good food is a proud thing to do. If you're bored in Arizona like many people are, go here with a couple friends and enjoy!

I was very excited to see a schezuan chicken sandwich on their menu and decided to go try out bird call. However I was slightly disappointed when I took my order to go and then open it up and see a chunk missing from the bun. The flavors weren't bad but wasn't as schezuan spicy as I was looking for. Overall I wish the portion sizes were slightly larger however as it was a Togo order in the drive through maybe that was why the fries were a bit smaller. Also the size of the chicken sandwich is almost in-between a traditional chicken sandwich and a slider. As it was a take our order through the drive through I can't speak much on the inside ambiance but it did seem to have good vibes. String lights and a colorful sign which I liked. Hard to say for the service as well as I did go through the drive through.

Ordered takeout for the first time; was super intrigued by their specialty salad selections but also needed some chicken tenders for the 6 year old. I ordered the Mediterranean salad and my husband got the spring chicken. We also ordered 3 chicken tenders, fries, and then a BBQ and Luxe slider. The chicken is great, really good. The fries are decent. But my salad was really bad...it is supposed to come w chickpeas but it came with none. This is disappointing because it's clearly a main component of the salad. The dressing doesn't taste like lemon...it tastes like a Caesar dressing. Delivery was fast, food was hot and fresh but overall, I'm so disappointed in my incomplete salad :(

Maybe it's the desire for more chicken sandwich options, or maybe it was their new Chicken in Box ad that parodies the infamous SNL skit that got me here. Either way, I'm glad we stopped by and spent our lunch here! I didn't know much about Birdcall, but walking in i was very impressed! There was a bar up front, but all your orders were at the self-checkout tablets. There was plenty of seating indoors and a Ninja Turtles Arcada game. There was more seating outside with a small mini-golf area. My husband ordered the Deluxe sandwich, I ordered a 5-piece tenders box, and we ordered my little one a kids meal which came with two tenders, fruit cup, and milk (you have options for the side and the drink). We also sat outside next to the mini-golf strip. A combination of the weather and little enjoying the area, we really enjoyed our visit! The chicken was very tender for all of our meals and the Birdcall sauce was very good! The fruit cup was a little disappointing since it was only mandarin segments with big seeds i had to take out and lots of grapes. I look forward to visiting again for their seasonal menu and to try their Nashville hot.

Fast food on the outside, upscale modern eatery on the inside. Your neighborhood fried chicken joint just got real fancy! As soon as you step into this place, your hit with gorgeous pendant lighting hung throughout. Plenty of outdoor seating is offered with yard games to keep the entertainment going. A self serve establishment where you can place your own order at one of the few touch screen kiosks. I ordered the 3 strip Nashville hot chicken combo with fries, and my cousin had the chicken sandwich with tots. The chicken was very dry and didn't offer much flavor. Fries were okay, tasted as if they had been sitting for a while, which I didn't expect as our food took longer than expected to be ready. Service was very friendly & welcoming, and they also have a small selection of beers on tap. If I'm in the area, I may give them another chance, but truly had higher hopes for this place.

Came here with my wife and son. We ordered chicken strips, nuggets, fries, tots, and the ranch sandwich. Somehow, this place has managed to create fried chicken that is not appealing to any of us. The sandwich I ordered was astoundingly bad, with the sauces and "onion bacon jam" creating a bland, kind of sour, almost rotten taste on top of the badly seasoned chicken. I kind of liked the tots. My son liked the fries. My wife liked the mango drink (Tractor brand). We will never come here again read more

Came here last night with my family. We had 3 separate orders all entered at the same time. I like the concept of ordering yourself on the computers. The one staff member behind the counter was friendly. My boyfriend and I ordered tenders and fries... our food didn't come out until the rest of my family was halfway done with their sandwiches. Immediately I noticed the odd smell of my chicken tenders, but at that point I was starving, it smelled like old oil if I'm being honest. The chicken was very hot, I'll give it that. It didn't really have any flavor. The sauces were average. The dining room was completely full on arrival so we started by sitting outside and then moved inside to an open table -- with that said, maybe have more shaded options outside? I feel like there are just as many tables outside as inside and hardly any shade. We all decided this was a one and done for us and we'd rather have chick-fil-a or canes. read more

Birdcall is an amazing restaurant if you're into chicken. If not then this is not the spot for you. I really enjoyed this place because the food was amazing. The service was alright but the drive-thru line was held up a lot. It seemed like it was being not properly run. The food was great overall. It's pretty salty in all dishes so you will definitely need a drink to wash it down. I recommend getting mayo on the original chicken sandwich as it was really good. I think it's better than Chick-fil-a on the sandwich personally, but the amount of pickles is amazing. I think the ambiance and out door setting from what I could see seemed nice but I wasn't in there in there. I recommend overall as a good spot and option of you like chicken. read more

$18 for a chicken sandwich, fries and a drink with two of their sauces. Food was nothing to write home about, very average. Fries were mediocre, frozen fare. Bun was kinda dry on my buffalo chicken sandwich. Their "large" drink is a medium size at almost any other fast casual type restaurant. They charge $.50 for each sauce which is in a half-full tiny 1.5 oz or so sized cup. Too pricey for what they offer. I guess they have to pay for that fancy building somehow... read more

Listen. Right. Now. Run don't walk to this beautiful restaurant!!!!! Let's start our journey through the drive through together. Picture this... we drive up and NO ONE IN LINE (SHOCKED) we are greeted by two wonderful women with smiles on their faces. We drive up to the girl closest to the menu and I order 5 chicken tender meal with a drink and tater tots with a side of ranch and their Birdcall sauce. My husband gets the Nashville chicken sandwich. We then drive up to the door where we're greeted by this wonderful human with purple hair in braids. She tells us our food is going to take a minute or two. We wait for maybe a minute in a half, take the food and drive home. Once we're home we do a taste test. I open my chicken tenders and sauces ...and my husband takes his sandwich. We both immediately ate a tater tot and we both gasped. The tater tot has a seasoning on there... my guess is ranch but could be something different. I take a bite of my chicken tender after dipping it in ranch and nearly cry. ITS DILL RANCH THE BEST RANCH KNOWN TO MAN KIND. their Birdcall sauce is good, on the sweeter end. My husband takes a bite of his sandwich and says expresses that it's good, not too hot which is perfect given that he almost added the extra hot sauce. Were it not for the prices I would probably give it five stars for a fast food place. Fries are great, sauce is good, everything is surprising not too salty like Canes. Lemonade is awesome! I got the Ranch sandwich, which is good, but needs something like pickles or fresh slaw, something to brighten it up. The chicken strips were good, a little over breaded, but good meat and not salty or separating. I'd go again, keeping in mind I spent over $50 for 3 meals in a drive thru. read more

She made the short interaction fun and we joked about wanting to get jobs there just to work with her and the other gal she was working with because they seemed to be enjoying their jobs so much. The food is good, but every time i'm there the service is terrible. I visited today and ordered (and paid for) a few sides of ranch with my meal. Upon receiving my food the ranch wasn't there so I went up to the front and mentioned my ranches we're not with the rest of the order. The young man working the register said "they're .50 each you need to pay for them" i explained that I had paid for them but they just weren't given to me, and even showed him the receipt. He refused to give them to me. On my way back to my table the kind woman working in the kitchen overheard the conversation and handed me some, and as I was walking away the young man SHOUTED across the restaurant "YOU NEED TO PAY FOR THOSE"!! Unbelievable that even after showing my receipt for the sauces he would continue to harass me. read more

I have ordered from this place 3 times for the Nashville hot sandwich and everything I have got a plain chicken sandwich. If you values your money do not order. Chicken sandwiches are tasty but similar in quality and size as Chick-fil-A. More topping preferences which I enjoy. Fries and tots are tasty but salty. Prices similar to shake shack which are a few $ higher than I think they should be. Worth trying but less likely to repeat due to better values out there read more

With a 20% tip, I paid almost $21 for a sandwich with no chips nor drink. The sandwich is just okay, and barely better than a Subway sandwich. The employee seemed to be low key annoyed that I was there and the high costs on top of it? I won't be back. We'll see if this place survives.

I didn't think much of it at first, but then I watched the owner heat the pastrami in the microwave before assembling the sandwich. I've never had a deli sandwich prepared that way right in front of me, and it was disappointing. She also pulled out a large bag of Taylor Farms shredded lettuce. I asked for no lettuce, and she joked that "people don't want lettuce anymore." Given the recent news surrounding Taylor Farms, that comment didn't exactly inspire confidence. What really surprised me was that the pastrami was placed in a plastic basket and microwaved. Whether or not it's considered safe, seeing food heated that way wasn't very appetizing. Looking around, there also didn't appear to be any real kitchen equipment for preparing hot sandwiches beyond a microwave. A Blackstone griddle or even a quality countertop oven would have inspired much more confidence in the food, especially considering the owner's Yelp responses emphasizing the quality of their sandwiches. From what I experienced, the preparation didn't match those claims. In the end, we ordered just one pastrami sandwich and one beer, and the total came to about $25, with the sandwich alone costing over $17. For that price, I expected much better ingredients and preparation. Unfortunately, the quality didn't match the cost. We tried to be as nice as possible but we left feeling pretty disappointed and couldn't wait to get out of there.

I noticed that the main menu had a line at the bottom that stated a gluten-free menu would be available upon request. I did ask to see this menu as gluten-free is my dietary preference, not an allergyand I was brought a complementary gluten-free bun instead of the pretzel bread. I thanked our server and told him not to worry that it was just a preference and he told me that he treats all gluten friendly requests as an allergy. I really appreciated the care and concern he had for my health and well-being. This is unprecedented at most restaurants. They had a very extensive gluten-free menu and I can't wait to go back and try so many more items. We did try the Leonard burger and made quite a few modification requests - all of which were 100% accommodated. This burger was so incredibly juicy! I usually expect a super sweet sauce that bogs me down after with ribs, but these ones left me feeling able to still go on about my day which I love. They aren't shake off the bone tender but I liked the gentle chew they provide. Overall, I recommend Joe's to anyone who cares more about the ingredient sourcing and quality while enjoying a nice family friendly vibe for a lunch/dinner. When I asked staff, they said "the veggie patty is not available yet." This is particularly frustrating since they had veggie patties when they first opened - there's clearly an internal system failure. **Terrible Payment Process:** The worst part is that you must swipe your card and allow a hold to be placed on it BEFORE you can even see the full customization options. This means they're charging you before you know what you're actually able to order. **The Bottom Line:** While the staff member I spoke with was apologetic about the situation, this is clearly a corporate-level problem with their business model. We decided on a spontaneous visit after passing by countless times, feeling it was time to give it a try. The parking spaces are a bit tight, and the drive-through isn't seamlessly designed. The restaurant embraces technology with a self-serving kiosk. After placing your order, your name appears on monitors with a timing system. When your order is ready, it's placed in a bay area for you to collect. The counter area with the ordering monitors is a bit cramped, likely needing adjustments for handling more customers. The interior is clean and trendy, fitting for a recently opened place. We opted to sit outside and enjoyed the patio, complete with a fully equipped putting green. Unfortunately, the Nashville Hot turned out rather plain and not as spicy as expected. I might give the Buffalo a shot next time to see if it's more impressive.
